      Very nice , well made air cleaner.

      The wing nut has threads for both 1/4" and 5/16" carb stud. There are only a few 1/4" threads within the top of the nut. To catch those threads *and* get a tight fit with the lid I had to use a couple of thick washers. I buffed the washers to give them a nice shine. Looks OK.The opening in the base is more like 5-3/8" than the expected 5-1/8". I very much like the appearance of the flat top.

      It is one low profile air cleaner but my gripes are that the nut stripped out right away. The base where the air cleaner fits the intake would push away the gasket not sealing correctly. If it wasn't for these two things I'd give it a 5.

      Appears to be well constructed with a nice flat black finish. However, I contacted Mr. Gasket who stated this model had a flat base. It does NOT. It is a drop base, about 1.5", so it won't work for my application and I'll be returning it. But it would have been nice.

      would not fit my carb . My fault I did not do the proper research its to bad would have looked awesome in my all black engine bay
