The Airforce Pre-Cleaner is designed to be cleaned with K&N Cleaner or soap & water. Red colored Airforce pre-cleaners are oiled with K&N air filter oil after they are cleaned. They are made from large, open cell foam. Gray colored Airforce pre-cleaners do not use oil. They have smaller foam cells.

      Great companion to my K&N Cold Air Intake.Keeps the filter clean for optimal condition, water beads right off, and it keeps the filter clean (I have had this on for a year and I just checked the filter, expecting it to be needing a cleaning soon, and it still looks new...Worth every penny.The Cover itself is a little dirty, so I am going to clean it with the K&N cleaning solution and let the actual filter be as it is pristine. Great product.

      So far this filter wrap has exceeded my expectations. I usually have to clean my filter out once a month, just checked it and so far it is not really dirty. Given its performance thus far I expect saving time and money spent on cleaning my filter so often.

      Works amazing an what it's Sopose to do! I have it on my 07 cobalt SS an with it under the bumper it gets alot of water an nasty an the filter is clean

      Awesome product for my 2007 Honda FIt! It fits perfectly on my K&N 69-1016-1TS it also helps to filter finer particles that the intake cannot.

      these are a great addition to any air filter that is not enclosed. they help keep the main filter clean and if you drive off-road like i do it saves you a ton of money in replacement air filters by keeping all the dirt and mud out of the air filter.

      I got this for my K&N filter on my Yamaha YZ400, and it is a very good product. The pre-filter helps extend the time between filter cleanings, and prevents any water from being absorbed into the filter. Fit and finish are pretty good, but it does take a little work to get it installed properly. If you follow the directions you shouldn't have any issues though.

      Keeps fine particles from clogging the filter, and sheds water pretty well, too! Total win all the way around! Be sure to check the K&N website for the correct part number before ordering. Don't rely on the pictures or description, please! I nearly made that mistake.

      for the arizona dust, this keeps the main filter much cleaner and doesnt affect the gas mileage. also easy to remove and put back on.

      I use this on my Typhoon Intake for my '12 Honda Fit. The design of the Fit's air channeling allows water to reach the exposed filter of the Typhoon. I got this warp to protect the filter from water and it works really well. After 1 year of use, the yellow warp is almost black from dirt, yet the K&N filter is still purple/red and clean. As an added bonus, the wrap also acts as a pre-filter and helps keep more dirt out of your engine.

      Does everything I ask of it keeps water out and lets air in. easy to install good price. Recomend it for anyone who uses a cold air intake

      Yea, it's just an outer wear for your K&N. And it's not cheap, but I've owned many K&N filters, and this solves a major problem with them. If you've ever tried to clean a K&N with bugs stuck in between the pleats, it's almost impossible to get them clean as new. With this thin cover over the filter, the days of picking bugs outta your air filter are over! Wish I knew about these a long time ago...

      I have a K & N Filter in almost every peice of equipment I own. (ATV, Motorcycle, Dodge Pick-up, etc.) This over-filter or wrap works well especially for back-road or harsh-weather use. These reduce the cleaning time of my filters as they manage to catch those particles that may otherwise begin to clog. This filter cover does a great job in keeping excessive moisture out of the filter by simply repelling it away! If you have a K & N, do yourself a favor as I did, buy one!

      I purchased this K&N filter cover along with a K&N filter for my ATV. Hey....they just have to go together. One product compliments the other. It's a shame that both don't come as one unit, but it is what it is. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you get the filter.

      No problems with this product. Its from k&n designed to their filters, it definitely does that. That is all. I don't know what more to say.

      The drycharger works great and will extend the service intervals between air filter cleanings.It looks sweet too sets the whole look off!:-)

      This product was very easy to install it took approximately 1 hour. The product fit was excellent, no mod's were required. Only downside is a bit noisy on cold startup this is due to how the airpump hooks into teh CAI system.

      Great fit to the K&N for the 700/750 king quad, seems to keep filter cleaner then with no cover and pretty water resistant for a slip on cover, good for deep water riding when every bit of water resistance helps.

      I used this prefilter on a K&N filter for an older quad rebuild project. Very easy to use and it works great to keep dirt and sand out of the filter, as the filter is exposed because the OEM air box was damaged and cost prohibitive to replace.

      These are good for extra protection on my off road toys in dusty conditions. These fit the Polaris K&N filters great!

      If you tend to take your off-road vehicle into areas that are particulary dusty or sandy, you'll want this PreCharger for your K&N filter. Of course the filter can be cleaned and re-oiled at any time, but this wrap will keep you from having to do it nearly as often. It will keep the filter around and boosting horsepower that much longer as well.
