Couldn't find this part at the auto parts, junk yard was too expensive and I found this at AutoPartsWAY and when I got it it was better than the new one, fits perfect.

The turn signal switch, which also controls cruise control, emergency flashers, and high/low beams looked to be exact duplicate of the unit we un-installed. All functions worked well after installation. The stalk is slightly shorter than the removed unit, but a minor 'learning adjustment' is all that is required to reach slightly farther to use the controls. As a matter of installation procedure, now the horn does not sound on my Eurovan, so I'll have to take the steering wheel off and reinvestigate. Not a function of the switch, but installer error. If any of the functions this switch control fail on your Eurovan, buy this switch. Take it to the VW dealer and trust they will do a better install job than I did myself!

I purchased this because of the blinker sticking issue in my 2000 Porsche 996. This is an updated model with a flat finish, compared to the gloss original. Comes with the stalk covers for the left two only, not the right two. This unit has the cruise control and the computer stalk.

the switch set i received was identical to the unit i replaced. works great, best price i found and delivered in a timely manner. i spent time on-line looking for informed advice on how to do the swap. i eventually found it at [...] forums. i made the mistake of looking specifically for boxter info, i didn't know at the time that the part also works in recent 911s. would have been quicker if i'd known. i also discovered that it's possible to push the switch too far onto the stalk. when that happens, the turn signal cancellation wheel is not free to turn. nice crunchy noises when you make that mistake. be sure it turns freely before you reattach the steering wheel. by the way, for those who don't know this already, porsche is not pronounced "porsh". it's "porsh-ah". tell your friends. please.
