This is for 9.5" axle applications without a fill plug on cover (GM # 19133288, as noted in description),If you need one with at fill plug on it, use GM 19133285

Fit fine. Like that the gasket was included. Like the idea of the drain plug. Reason for 3 stars...drain plug doesn't sit straight in the hole and leaks slightly. It's only a tiny bit of fluid, but disappointing.

Bolted right up to a Chrysler 8.25 differential. Cover came painted but it was thin paint. Overall very happy.

Not that much to say: it's a cover. It has a magnet on the inside and comes with a gasket as pictured. Seems sturdy enough. On most models, the filler plug is located on the right side near the front of the differential case. It has a square driver notch that fits the end of a 3/8" ratchet. This cover does not have a plug.Torque specs from the 1994 manual:-Cover plate bolts: 20 lbs. ft.-Filler plug: 18 lbs. ft.Vehicle: 1994 K2500 Suburban9.5" RG 4:10 rear axle (RPOs NA4, GT5, G80)

Perfect fit on my 06 F-150 XLT 4x4. Read your axle and make sure you get the right one, this fit perfect.

Was a perfect match for my 96 GMC with semi floating 14 bolt. Don't forget the fill hole for the 14 bolt is cast into the housing on the passenger side near the input shaft so don;t expect to see one on this cover.

I know many claim the "Chinese" heritage for Dorman, but I want to tell the buyers this has a bit more steel in it than the FORD product I pulled off. Totally corroded and looks like junk. I sprayed the cover with clear coat (2 coats) and put the gasket on with blue Silicon. Be aware that the gasket needs to be matched (one side fits better than the flip side) so try the hole matching before you "glue". There are two different covers for the 98-2000 models this is for the 9.5 inch larger rear end so before you buy get the right one.Fits perfect and hopefully a good few years of service.

2005 Chevy Avalanche had a rusted fill plug. VERY glad I tried to remove that first before draining the rear diff. The fill plug was completely rusted and I stripped the square hole using a 3/8 socket adapter. VERY very glad I found this!! Just remove old cover, scrape old gasket off, get new screws!, put on new cover/gasket, fill with correct amount of AMSoil 75w90--Now recommended instead of 80w-90. 80w is thinner and provides less protection in high heat. AMSoil.com will tell you how much diff fluid to put in the front and rear diff. Still had to buy the transfer case fluid from GM$ and fill till it came out of the fill plug. Easy way to save $750 and keep your truck going for a few more years. Gear-transfer case fluids ran me $100 and this cover was $25.
