1999 Acura CL Multi-Purpose Relay Genuine

I was one of the many with an e46 M3 who had SMG troubles which resolved when replacing this "Salmon" relay.Shifts are much quicker and consistent with this relay replaced.No dreaded SMG gear light on the dash anymore.My SMG issues came to a head when my M3 ZCP SMG pump would not turn off with the car. I found this out when I returned to the car and my battery was dead. Troubleshooting lead me to the SMG pump continually running. New battery and other basic fixes would not resolve the issue.What a relief to replace this relay and have everything return to normal!

So far working well on 2002 Mazda protege

Had cold start problems. Internet hero's told me it was a relay. Went from car starting never to all the time. If you have an E46, this is a mother ******** to put in behind the wires and metal cage. Good luck.

Ended up not needing this, but it works and was cheaper than all other places I searched.

04 BMW M3 SMG had failed due to bad relay. I was worried it might have been a bad SMG pump but luckily this was the fix.It was an easy fix and now the phantom electrical issue has been resolved and the car runs like a beast as it should. Easy DIY.

This is an OEM part so there was no issue changing it out or with the operations. Easy to replace and cheaper than getting it from the dealer.

New unused f/p relay also works for main power relay always good to have a spare in the glove box its as if the wiring and fuse boxes were made by Lucas,,, never know when your going to need a replacement.
