      I wanted a tool box for my trailer tongue and had looked at several (metal, plastic, different shapes and sizes). I also wanted white due to the strong sun in So. AZ. So, I finally picked this tool chest and am very happy with it. It is a bit large for the tongue so need to be careful not to get the trailer and truck at really sharp angles - the trucks bumper WILL hit the tool chest. But, I really like that I can put tarps, tools, and various tie-downs in there (so the volume is great!).The lock on the one opening handle might be a bit light duty is really my only concern.

      The Dee zee box was everthing i expected. The black finish is awesome. Fits inback of cab where you dont see it when looking at truck. Out of site out of mind. It came in on time with no defects on it. I would recomment buying this box.

      Latch pin came bent so adjustment was needed to ensure it open and closed as advertised.

      After reading the reviews, my husband and I kind of expected the box to arrive damaged. And it did. It had a feel semi- large dents in the corners of the box but luckily in the box. BEWARE THE SHIPPING IS SHODDY. NO PADDING OR SUPPORT FROM DENTS OR DINGS JUST A HALF-ASS TAPED CARDBOARD BOX. Just know it's coming with dents and scrapes. The hinge lid worked good and it fit so we kept it. The metal seemed sturdy and my husband was happy so that's all that matters.

      I've bought a few of these boxes for our field trucks. Very good quality for the price and proves that buying the other more expensive brands are not needed. Also the drivers like them because they are not an obnoxious orange or tan like the other brands.

      I purchased one of these for my driver side bed. It looks GREAT on my Black 2012 RAM 1500 SLT Quad-Cab. It is shiny black just like my truck. But looks are not everything. Like the other reviewers mentioned the steel is thin and if you were to put heavy tools in it they might dent from the inside out. Luckily I only use it for a small plastic toolbox and a bunch of tie downs so for me it is perfect, but I can see how people who expected more for this amount of money might be disappointed.I purchased it from AutoPartsWAY Warehouse. It was a scratch and dent return. The scratches and dents were on the inside wall against the inside of the fender well so I could care less and I saved like $40. So when the cheap piano hinges feel like they are going to break when I open it and I can NEVER GET THE KEY IN THE HOLE without many attempts, I just tell myself it was a really good deal and it looks fabulous. And while in the pictures it looks small it in reality is 3 feet long and 2 feet...

      I purchased this box for my '13 Chevrolet Standard Box. Installation was fairly straight forward, it fits well and appears to be relatively well constructed. It would be nice if it would fit tighter to the side of the truck, but with the roll of the interior of the bed, this is not possible unless the boxes were specifically made for each individual model of truck instead of a universal fit.After the initial installation, I decided to install a bed mat and removed the box to install the bed mat under the box. As I was replacing the bottom tray/drawer (which must be removed to take the box off of the holding platform) all of the ball bearings came out of the slide rendering the bottom tray unusable. I emailed the manufacturer to see if there was a direct fix that I could employ to avoid uninstalling the entire unit and returning it. I received a quick response with apologies and stating that my only option was to remove the box and return it to AutoPartsWAY. Understandable,...

      The DeeZee label was missing. This allowed rain to enter the interior. Scratches on the exterior. A label was sent in the mail to cover the holes. If no scratches and the product was whole I would rate as 4 star.

      this was put on a crane for strapping and rigging supplies. works good but the door is kinda flimsy. the chains that held the door pulled though. i have repaired everything with a tig welder but im sure you could with some screws. for the price, good product, not perfect but good

      Dee Zee DB-2600 Heavy boxes(Steel)from AutoPartsWAY are great. The only thing I can see to do and I have, is drill a hole in the bottem to drain the water out I don't care how much they claim to have sealed them your still going to get road splash inside them, which is no big deal, your not going to be caring your jocky shorts in them. They are great boxes and so far they haven't rusted any, but I'm not holding my breath because after all they are steel.

      I received the product partially damaged. The packaging it came in was terrible so its no mystery how it happened. The quality of the box is ok.... It does not open very wide. The steel appears to be sturdy. The black paint is nice though mine showed up chipped. I hope it doesn't rust. Customer service was nice and helpful. I kept it because they issued me a partial refund.

      This is a strong and sturdy cab box, however it was not for a Tundra as stated in the description, and was therefore not an exact fit. I had to do some adapting to get it to fit properly, and it seems ok.
