I bought these towing mirrors instead of the OEM towing mirrors or the OEM towing replica mirrors. The OEM towing mirrors look aftermarket and are ugly IMO. These have a much better look - more stock looking, and fit perfect.

I have a set of these mirrors on my 1999 Ram Diesel and love them so I ordered another set for my 1997. Mirrors are wonderful but the problem started there. The product shipped was stated by the information furnished on AutoPartsWAY to fit my 1997 Dodge Ram with electric mirrors. The item had the wrong electrical fittings and the wrong number of wires to be compatible with my pickup. The mirrors had an inline plug in with 3 wires. The truck has a square plug in with 6 wires. The directions showed a different style of fitting than the mirrors had and if they had matched the 6 wire plug in the picture in the instructions, the product would have been a perfect fit. I now have to pay the return shipping on an item that should never have been shipped to me. I am not at all happy. Bad service if you ask me.

Mirrors fit perfectly, plugged into my wiring harness exactly and functioned like They should . Its a good product and the manufacturer knew what he was doing . I recommend this product to anyone who needs extendable mirrors.Peace

It only took about 15-20 minutes to install these mirrors on my F-250 Super Duty truck, however I am pretty handy with the right tools. We have tried a couple of universal type towing mirrors and these are far superior to anything we have used. Much larger viewing area and no vibration even at highway speeds. I would recommend these even over my factory mirrors when not towing too. They just slide out for towing and slide in for regular driving. We spent a bit more than we did on universal towing mirrors but since they are permanent, they are utilized everyday. No swapping or installing extras when we go camping. Ford should have put towing mirrors on any truck with a towing package but I guess they were not able to figure this out.

I put these on a 2012 dodge ram 1500 for a friend, they came very well packaged, installed was pretty simple had some concerns that the factory defrost feature would not work, but he tells me it does work, just as good as oem quality, plugs right into the factory harness, just to bad dodge puts connection under door panel or install would have been a snapped on cover and three bolts, great product very happy customer

They are easy to install, work as needed. I didn't realize when I purchased these that the mirrors are adjustable in each frame which was a good surprise when I did realize that I needed to move them. Made it easy to see around the sides of my larger pop up camper from my minivan.

Mirrors, shipped and arrived promptly . 1 mirror glass fell off of housing during shipment . I re- installed glass, and will be keeping old mirrors so I have something to put back on when glass falls off again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good quality mirrors. I was looking for towing mirrors but did not want to spend $600 +, the dealer was asking. Overall I'm happy with the product, the only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because the passenger side mirror has too much magnification for my taste. In my opinion they should have used the same mirror on both sides as was used on the driver side.No problems seeing around the RV.

I received the mirrors and followed the instructions and installed the right side mirror with no problem at all. The studs on the mirror lined up with the holes in the door of the truck and I had it installed and ready to go in about 10 minutes. When I went to install the driver's side the studs did not line up with the holes in the door and one of the bottom studs (lower left) was about 1/4 inch off. The stud was evidently installed in the wrong hole (there were 2 next to each other)and since they are pressed in, they could not be removed. I had to either uninstall the right side and send the pair back or drill a hole in the door to make it line up and I chose drilling the hole. Other than that the mirrors appear to be well made and much larger than I expected (a plus), there should have been a better QC check.

First the good news. The mirrors fit and function as expected. I think they'll be great on the road. Be aware that the passenger side mirror is flat and presents a different image than the stock mirrors. I think once I get readjusted it will be fine. They are BIG and the spot mirrors included in the package will be a big help. Then the bad news. I didn't get a "pair" of mirrors in that they are different. One (drivers side) has two connectors for the circuitry, the other only one. Since the mirrors are supposed to have both power adjustment and heat, I suspect one function doesn't work on the right side. Testing indicates that the adjust feature is OK, so it must be heat that is not functioning. Not that big a problem, but I paid extra for the two functions and didn't get them. To AutoPartsWAY's credit they rebated part of the purchase price, and I thank them. I also had a problem with the install because the instruction sheet included was a little too generic and I...

Order arrived on time and was not damaged. Items fit F250 Super Duty well. To limit vibration issues while driving at highway speed, simply place foam behind the mirror before installation.

The pair or CIPA 70100's were not a pair. Right side OK, left side Who knows? The remaining part of the purchase was the best purchase/return ever. Not wanting to try online, I called a customer service rep. She made it simple. I followed her lead and was able to take the package to UPS and receive a correct replacement the next day. Very positive experience, so much so that I will tend toward AutoPartsWAY rather than just price when purchasing online.

I really like these mirrors. Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell ya, you won't hear me singing the praises of a product unless it is exceptional.Well I'm singing about this one. For less than $50 I got a set of mirrors that almost look like factory parts, I say almost because of the "Threaded Tightening Knob" on the back side of the mirror. The knob is a dead give away that is not a factory extended mirror. Otherwise it fits my 2004 Silverado Z71 mirror like a glove.I have been using theses mirrors off and on for months with no problems, no vibration, no issues with wind, etc. My camper is just wide enough that the factory mirrors on my truck look straight down the side of it. I could only see someone behind me if they moved over far enough to see around me. No I have a better view of what ever is behind me.Installation takes me about 2 min and removal is less than 60 seconds for the set. They sure look better that the style that is...

Considering that upgrading the mirrors on my 2001 Ram 2500 would cost about $400. These seem like a good deal. There are no modifications required to the truck. These slip over the existing mirrors and use an internal clamp to tighten.

I'm reasonably happy with these mirror extensions. They go on easy, and work well. In researching this purchase, I had come across reports in various Tundra forums that were critical of visibility problems created by vibration/shaking. I did not enounter this problem and can only assume that the critics hadn't installed them correctly. These were rock solid and very stable during driving. They provided the added visibility I was looking for that the stock Tundra mirrors lack. While I have a few minor complaints about them, overall I think they are great purchase and would recommend them. The positives:1. Inexpensive alternative to other options on the market. Especially when compared to $500.00 Toyota extendable towing mirrors.2. 5 minute install and removal times make it really easy to use these. Even the most mechanically challenged individuals should find no problems considering they just slip on and off over the exisiting mirrors.3. Good function, fit...

These mirrors rock, prefect fit, they look great, very sturdy. Only took me an hour to install them. Better view than the OEM I replaced. I defiantly would recommend these mirrors

I really like these mirrors. The only improvement would be the factory towing mirrors that are available for my truck but at $350 or more, I'll settle for these slide on mirrors. These mirrors are very easy to install and stay put once on the truck. Yes, they vibrate in the wind a little but I've never noticed that as being an issue while driving. You can still easily see if there is a vehicle in the lane next to/behind you and that's what you need. For the price, I very much recommend them.

These are great. I put them on my '04 Suburban Z71 in @ 3 minutes. Used them for my 27' camper. Put on 1800 miles in 1 week and these were great. Did not loosen or vibrate and they look great.

I am a woman with a 2008 Tundra that hauls a travel trailer. I tried 'universal' tow mirrors when I could not find mirrors made for my truck - they were next to useless; I didn't have enough strength in my hands to get them tight enough... or perhaps they would've slipped anyway. I put these CIPA mirrors on, no problem, they stay where they belong, I can see my trailer and most of what's behind it, well worth the price!

The mirrors appear well made and fit my truck perfectly. That's the good news. The bad news is installation...not the difficulty, but product design issues. The first issue is there is one 10mm bolt per side that you need to install. This bolt is to self tap (although not a self tapping screw)into the mirror's aluminum base plate. The bolts are too small (or the holes to large)and the bolts won't stay in and strip out immediately. There are 3 holes in the base plate. One would have been good but this is not the hole that could be used due to alignment...to back up my "hole" argument, the bolts, when the mirrors were unpacked, were already started in the hole that had to be used. So a trip to the store and a purchased of 1/4-20s solved the problem. Very poor design. The second issue is when tightening the nuts onto the pre-installed studs, I stripped one out. If there are torque limits this was not itemized. It all comes down to being cheap....not using inserts in an...

The mirrors were easy to install. They look so natural you'd think they were a factory installed item. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a simple and inexpensive solution to the small mirrors that are not suitable for use for towing.

When I first received this product one of the mirrors was not attached to the motor mount correctly so I requested a replacement and sent the defective mirrors back with the included directions and the two CIPA HOT SPOTS mirrors.I received the replacement mirrors a few days later and the electric mirrors were fine this time but one of the CIPA HOT SPOTS (#49702) mirrors was broken and the included installation directions were for a different model of electric mirrors.I did not send the mirrors back this time and I did not request a new HOT SPOTS mirror. I looked up the installation instructions online and went ahead and installed the electric mirrors without difficulty. They work fine. These mirrors were sold at about half the price that I was able to find locally so in general I am please with them. The HOT SPOTS mirror looked like it was broken due to inadequate packaging from the factory.

For those looking for a good - replacement mirror - CIPA should be considered. I have a 2006 Silverado used to tow a 5th wheeler. The CIPA mirrors looked to be a great answer with their slide out capability. Overall the quality is good. I was surprised to find included in the package a set of spot convex mirrors - one was smahed into multiple pieces... I found quickly why they are included... the right side mirror is flat - no curve to hlep with a wider view like the stock unit ("thing look closer...."). I nearly creamed a small car as I changed lanes. I added the small mirror - I c an now see the spot - but it would have been much better to have a full size mirror - I now have to look at both the small unit and the larger mirror before moving over. The units mount easily - one you pull the door panel off. 1 hr for the first one and 10 min for the second one. Overall good product but not a flat out winner.

This product is amazing! The installation was a breeze, the most difficult part was putting on the velvet sticker that protects the trucks mirrors. They slip right over perfectly, and the screw that tightens the mirror to the mirrors on the truck work great. I had a 4 hour drive on the interstate in some rough winds and rain after putting them on for the first time while towing my 5th wheel. There was no vibration or movement on the mirrors at all. I highly recommend these to anyone, they are easy to install, take off, and great when being used.

These mirrors solved my trailer towing problem. I had experimented with the slide-on type towing mirrors but they scratched the paint on my factory mirror. I also tried the suction cup type mirrors but they were constantly falling off. The only thing that would make these mirrors perfect would be the enhanced mirrored glass on the passenger side mirror.

Overall a good product. One mirror shakes a little more than the other. Gib easy view mirrors. You need to lube the sliders every now and then to make it easy to slide in and out.

I have a set of these on my 2002 Chevy Silvarado 2500HD. I broke one, it was outside of warranty by a year. I called the company trying to buy the replacement part, they sent me a whole new mirror at NO charge. These are the best replacement towing mirrors, bar none!
