      The oem Toyota PCV valve still rattled when I took it out. You can clean out the original with solvent but I decided to just swap in a new replacement piece. What you see is what you get! No issues at all with fit and operation. I also picked up a Dorman HELP! pcv valve grommet since the original grommet was brittle.

      I purchased this part for my 1999 Lexus GS400. The OEM original part was working fine, but I its a simple replacement and good maintenance to change these out, since price is low it worth it and helps keep your engine internals clean.The Valve was a bit shorter and narrower than the original but fit and installed fine nonetheless.

      This part is swapped out so quick and easy that anyone can do it. If you are at all nervous, just do a quick internet search and there are videos out there. Do NOT pay a mechanis to this, save your money.

      nothing wrong with the old pcv valve just had over 60k on the old one. thought it's time to change it while i changed the plugs.
