  • The wait is OVER!! Skunk2 Racing has worked tirelessly to develop the most complete high performance intake manifold package possible for the NA and NB Mazda Miata! Welcome the Skunk2 Racing Ultra Street Intake Manifold. Years of R&D have culminated in a multi-piece cast aluminum intake manifold that offers advantages that only a modular design could allow! Building upon the performance legacy of our Pro Series Intake Manifold, as well as using the latest in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software; Skunk2 Racing has created a three-piece modular design that allows for easy disassembly, porting, and plenum volume changes through the use of a removable plenum. In addition to CFD testing, the Ultra Street Intake Manifold has undergone extensive in-house dyno and on-car testing which has led to a design that is less restrictive, yielding both torque and power gains well over any other offering! Skunk2 Racing Ultra Street Intake Manifolds are cast-aluminum, manufactured from high-grade 356 aluminum alloy for strength and lightweight. Each manifold is CNC-machined for a precise fit, and individually inspected for quality assurance. The Ultra Series Street manifold features a generous 68mm throttle body opening and is constructed with thick walls at entry, minimizing concerns of breakthrough when port matching. Intense planning and design went into the plenum (1.8L plenum volume) to distribute even airflow to all four cylinders under dynamic load conditions. Placement and design of the velocity stacks were rigorously flow tested to ensure maximum delivery of air to the cylinder. Large velocity stack raised bell mouth entries lead to 10.00 in. long intake runners with smooth transitions allowing the Ultra Street Intake Manifold to outflow all other production intake manifolds. Skunk2 Racing Ultra Street Intake Manifolds are designed to be used in modified naturally aspirated applications as well as mild turbo/supercharged setups.

  • Skunk2 has done it again. While others are busy imitating our LCA's, Skunk2 engineers have spent years of extensive R & D to revolutionize a product that was once thought to be dialed in. Skunk2 is proud to announce the release of its Alpha Series Lower Control Arms for the '88-'95 Civic/ CRX and '90-'01 Integra. The Alpha Series LCA's are based off of the same technology the company's been using in its own race cars for 20 years and are a must-have for enthusiast looking to fine-tune their suspension for maximum handling performance while keeping budget in mind. Skunk2's Rear Lower Control Arms are direct replacements, maintain OEM suspension geometry, and are ideal for street and race applications. When deciding on a material to base our new design on, we chose very carefully, as there are many inferior annealed and cheap versions of aluminum available on the market today. We chose 6061-T6 because of its excellent strength to weight ratio. With an ultimate tensile strength of over 42,000 PSI, and fatigue strength of 14,000 psi for 500 million cycles – we knew this would be perfect for the Alpha Series Lower Control Arms. The result of our re-engineered lower control arm is a 6061-T6 Forged Aluminum LCA, that is 15% lighter and 7% stronger than our previous generation of LCA's. Accurate suspension geometry is maintained under the most aggressive driving conditions using high load steel spherical bearings on the trailing arm side and tuned durometer elastomeric bushings for the sub frame side of the LCA. Delrin bushings are utilized at the shock mounting position for their low friction and minimal deflection for unparalleled dynamic shock control. Using this specific combination of bushings allows the most comfort and control under any driving conditions.
