Very nice replacement parts... I like the fact it came with new bolts because I was able cut old bolts off and replace with the new ones.. It's de the job much easier to replace the rear leaf springs

Regardless of what the listing says this kit DID fit my 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LS 4x4 with 6.0L engine. You will need a hydraulic press to install the new bushing in the spring. I used an air chisel with an exhaust cutter tip to remove the old bushing and outer bushing casing. Not sure why AutoPartsWAY and others say that this won't fit my year and model. It fit perfect.

The part worked perfectly. And the nearest competitor was $90. My old shackles were nearly rusted through. Thanks again Dorman and AutoPartsWAY.

Was able to swap my leaf spring with much less hassle. If you're going to swap your own leaf spring, buy new shackles! Don't waste time trying to save the old one.

Not much to say about these. They are very well built. Made out of good heavy metal not cheap tinfoil type metal. It come as pictured. fits just like OEM on my 2wd 2.5.

I thought this part for a 1999 Mercury Moutaineer would be more money. Thank goodness for AutoPartsWAY and the suppliers that work with them. The shackles came with bolts, self locking nuts and two different bushings. One was a straight medal type bushing and the other has the rubber insert. The later is used in the end of the leaf spring. Which BTW I did not replace. I don't know where the other would go because it certainly did not match the one in the frame of the vehicle. The drivers side could not go any smoother. Took all but 1/2 hour. The passenger side was a nightmare. Took 6 hours.Even though we had an air hammer, the upper bolt would not come out. PB Blaster, torch and a lot of elbow grease just would not get it out. We ended up drilling out the bolt and this almost did not work. Thank god for that air hammer. The new ones are both In. And the truck even rides better. Thanks again AutoPartsWAY.

These were a great replacement for the worn out shackles on my 1999 Ford Ranger, fit perfectly and came with all the necessary hardware to replace the old parts. Having had these on my truck for a month or so I have had no problems and they are comparable to factory original, just what you want in a product when replacing worn out parts.

The day I got these, I coated them in POR-15, got them on the truck the next day, then POR-15'd the nuts and threads. The truck rides A LOT better and more "precise", almost car-like. I would recommend these to any Expy owner. ess road noise, fewer rattles and VERY straight tracking on road bumps. Great product! Even comes with bushings, should you be inclined to change them out!

This worked as a great replacement for the rusted out shackles on my 96 Explorer Limited. I tried for 4 hours to change them myself and ended up taking this part to a local shop to have them do the work for me. With the proper tools, it took them 3 hours to get the old ones off because there were rusted so much. That said, this was a great quality part for the replacement.

These shackles fit my 1997 Ford F250 HD even though the chart AutoPartsWAY uses would indicate that they don't. They are made in China so quality is not that great. I doubt they will last but they do fit and are working fine for now.

I ordered these shackles for my 96 ford 4x4 and they were small. (Doorman #722-001) So I guess they are for the two wheel drive ford F-150. I wasn't able to get the old shackle bolts out so I took my truck to a local truck spring place. They had a time with it but got it out with a air hammer tool. I could hear'em in the "lobby". These guys used what I had bought here and helped me with what I didn't get right. I was just happy to get it done! The shackle bracket I also bought here was right for my truck though... go figure? Getting the old bracket off wasn't too bad. I used a 4" grinder with little difficulty. The bolt that holds the shackle to the leaf spring gets "froze" with rust in the inner sleeve. A poor design, I think. That was Doorman #722-005 (bracket kit). Good luck. I hope this helped you out. These are Made in China.
