    It works for the most part.. However.,. there is an annoying 'freeplay' at the top of the pedal stroke, about 1" from the top. And this 'freeplay' creates an annoying 'clunk' sound. No matter how much I adjusted the pedal adjustment bolt, there was no way to remove this 'freeplay'. The pedal is also much higher than where it is now than before with the original OE master cylinder.. again there was no way to adjust it. There is absolutely no air in the lines. I guess it works for the most part so I just have to live with it. Maybe I got one from a bad batch or something.

    Used in my 1987 bmw 325i. Exact replacement part. Car is now shifting smoothly again.
