i installed this and the 15717 on a 99 2.5L4 (5 speed) ford ranger. after the first tankful, it appeared that my mileage increased approx 5-8%, with the second tank showing a bit less. there was no 'check engine' light before or after. there are approx 175K miles on the vehicle, and i'm guessing the old ones were original.i used the parts selection page at bosch to confirm the part numbers: boschautoparts.com/auto/oxygen-sensors/premium-oxygen-sensors - hopefully, AutoPartsWAY won't blot out the link here.lately, i've noticed some missing at highway speed, but i think the computer has adjusted the fuel/air to a (more) optimal ratio, and plug/plug wire issues are more significant now. i plan to replace both shortly and will update after testing.one thing to note is that the threads in the exahust were pretty rusty and removal/installation was pretty difficult. i used an 18mm-1.5 tap to chase the threads, applied anti-seize and re-installed. be careful to...

This is an excellent replacement for the original part. It came well packaged with a small amount of special anti-sieze for the threads. I knew it was the right rear sensor on the Jeep (after my brother ran his diagnostic machine on the OBDI port) and looked all over the exhaust system until I finally found the located on the exhaust right near the back of the engine. I had expected it to be farther to the rear in the exhaust system. LoL.I was able to just jack up the right front of the car, disconnect the wire from the old sensor, unscrew the sensor with a regular 8" crescent wrench, apply the anti-sieze to the threads, screw the new sensor in, tightening it with the crescent wrench and connecting the wire connection. It fit like a charm. The special connector was exactly like the original and there were NO problems!This has been in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee for over 3 months now and is working correctly. Bosch has worked well for me in the past with Mercedes Benz cars and with a Volkswagen. I'm unhappy to report that it did not work well with my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004. I had to get an NGK for that car. The low voltage signal coming out of these sensors is actually too low for the PCM and every so often, I get a P0137 error.

Fit perfect in my 2000 Nissan Maxima SE (CA version).Was fairly difficult to get the old one out, but after a few days of PB Blaster soaking, it finally came out.Unfortunately, the reason I replaced the sensor was to take care of P0430, but it didn't work. (I knew it probably wouldn't but figured I spend $40 first before spending $200+ on a new precat).FYI - this is for bank 2 sensor 2replaces red wire sensor (this one has a black wire)

O2 sensors are a bugger to replace. That said, this item is as described. Delivered on time and with no issues. If you have to replace one, this is an economical replacement.

I originally bought the Bosch 15703 for my 2000 Chevy K3500 pickup since the site said that one would fit. If I'd have scrolled down further I'd have found this one that said it fit as well. the 15703 did not fit so I had to return it and order this one. This one fit and seems to have fixed my promble. Compared the price at my local autoparts stores and this part is identical to what they sell but for far less. Thanks AutoPartsWAY!

I used this to replace the one wire O2 sensor that I installed during a carb to EFI/TBI conversion. The one wire would fall out of closed loop and take too long to go into closed loop. This goes into closed loop quickly and according to the scan software, is working perfect.I tapped in to the fuel pump wire to drive another relay that powers the heater wires (two white wires - one ground and the other hot). This prevents the O2 sensor from going hot with the ignition in the on position, but engine off.

I was in the import car parts biz for over 30 years and this Bosch Oxy Sensors is the original factory for my Nissan Frontier as my truck still had the original sensor in it since new. The one I took out was made by Bosch not NGK/NTK or Denso and replacement was easy

The Bosch #13942 Oxygen Sensor fit my wife's 1990 Taurus with 3.0L Vulcan V6. With the new sensor, the car has a smoother idle than with the 24 years 115,000+ miles old original oxygen sensor. The anti-seize coating pre-applied to the threads was a nice touch, one less step for me to perform during installation. The price was low enough that I felt it was worthwhile to do as part of a high-mileage tune-up at home, and I'm satisfied with the new Bosch sensor.

If you're a DIYer like me, this can save a ton of $$$ doing this repair by yourself! It's simple to do if you have the right equipment to do it. Get a O2 Cesnsor socket for under $20 on line or at your local automotive store and the original comes right off and the new ones go right on with the perfect fit as the originals. Already had sealant on the threads so that was a nice surprise!

Unbelievably enough, it fits and (as far as I know even though I didn't do the extended sniff test from the tailpipe to make sure) I believe it works as it should. There's not much else to say...

This is the second Bosch O2 sensor I've used. Both fit perfectly and the emissions at the tail pipe on both cars improved after their installation. They build a fine sensor, possibly the best.

This is the sensor I received for my 94 ( non CA emissions ) Ranger from a local parts store, It will not work, the tabs on the outside of the connector are not in the same position as OEM Motocraft part# DY649, It can be made to fit by filing off the tabs on the connector but will not send proper signal to the ECU. i'm sure it's not a bad sensor for other applications, but people need to quit selling this for a 94 ranger, it will not work.

The check engine light on my 2005 F150 FX4 came on awhile back. I scanned the PCM and got a P0059 code, HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2, Sensor 1). I performed the diagnotics suggested and narrowed it down to the O2 sensor. At AutoPartsWAY I saved $20 over the local auto parts stores, and had the part in no time. I replaced the old upstream ACDELCO oxygen sensor from the exhaust manifold of my Chevy Colorado 3.5L with this one, and it works as advertised. It comes with a small pouch of copper anti-seize for the threads.

worked perfectly it was good replacement on my 07 jeep wrangler. alot cheeper than autozone and the exact same part.

I put this in my 97 wrangler it works great. The only problem was that the connection did not fit so I had to cut the wires and connect them to the old connector. Not sure why mine didn't fit since others didn't seem to have that problem. My Jeep definitely runs better now.

Installed the O2 sensors months ago, but waited to write a review until some time passed to ensure the sensors were working correctly. Installation was fast (less than 5 minutes) and I can report that the sensors are performing as designed. No more codes and improved performance.

It fit as specified. Installation only took a few minutes for the top side sensor. The bottom seonsor was just as easy even though I was laying on the ground. Plug in side matched what my car had from the factory units (Accent, 2001). My check engine light went off as soon as I replaced these and my exhaust manifold and. easy to install the front sensors. The electrical connector was a pita to get inserted into the vehicle side. It looked like the keying feature on the Bosch side wasn't cut as deep as the OEM O2 sensor plug. Just had to push harder than you would expect. Also bought the Lisle 12100 socket to install.

Perfect fit upstream O2 sensor for a Dodge Stratus ES 1997 V6 2.5L.The trouble code I was getting from my OBDII scanner was "P0134 - O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)." My car would randomly stall while idle or driving slow. Occasionally, while driving fast, I could tell that it was trying to stall.After replacing the O2 sensor, the car stalled about four time within five minutes of slow driving. My mechanic said the PCM was adjusting to the new data from the sensor and the car might not work as expected for a little while. We drove it for another five minutes at a slow speed and the car wouldn't stall. At that point, I took the car home, which was a 40 mile drive, lasting over an hour. The car did not stall once. It actually felt like it had a bit more power than before. I've been running a little rich for a awhile. XJ would run, just not "holy cow, this is awesome". Noticed a better acceleration curve immediately. One tip: properly reset the PCM. Two later, I did a proper reset, and I picked up even more performance/ smoothness.Disconnect the battery terminals and touch them together for 30 seconds. My 96 Saturn was running a bit rough and the check engine light was on so after a mechanic changed the oil and plugs he only cleared the light. So needless to say it came back on. I decided to buy this sensor through AutoPartsWAY and after taking off the old one and replacing it with the new Bosch the light turned off and the vehicle runs much better.

I would suggest always buying the OEM compatible sensors, not the universals. This sensor fit perfectly and the wiring harness matched my '97 Saturn SL1. No need to splice any wiring.

Ordered this sensor for a 2002 2.5 Altima as a direct fit, the plug is the same but the side tabs were not as pictured. However if you shave the side locking tabs w/a razor blade, it snaps into place securely. Running this with defoulers for a header, so good so far. Half the price of OEM so can't complain.....

Bought a couple for my 2001 VW Jetta. The only complaint I have is that the O2 sensors are on top of the catalytic converter instead of the side like other German manufacturers (ex. BMW), but that's VW's fault, not Bosch's. Cleared the engine codes after installation and 200 miles later they still haven't returned. Ordering them online was much cheaper than the $200 per sensor the shops and dealer quoted me.I also bought an oxygen sensor offset puller (Powerbuilt 648691) because that was the only way I could get a socket around them. Even then, laying under my car made for a tough angle to apply enough torque to break them loose.

Installed this for an 03 Mitsubishi Galant. Autozone wanted $70 for some no brand one. Same as OEM and no fitment issues. Took 5 minutes to replace. Dash light now gone.

Some people say Bosch is not good quality. I have used their products for several different parts and have never had any problems. So far this oxygen sensor has worked exactly how it's suppose too. Only time will tell it's true quality.

After borrowing the correct wrench and a few youtube videos, easy way to DIY and save money - now going to order the sensor for the back side to complete the tune up.

I was a little worried that this non-oem part would live up to the spec of the original, but boy was I wrong. I installed the sensor, cleared the fault code and its been performing like a charm ever since.

Now-a-days, most vehicles come with at least two O'2 sensors. One is a "high voltage", usually before the catalytic converter and a "low voltage" after. If you get the wrong voltage then it will create a new "check engine code". I suspect the O'2 sensor you took out was a "high voltage" and replaced with a "low voltage", or vica-versa.

Fit perfect on my 97 Cherokee XJ. This the exact fit model with the universal also available. Saved thirty dollars!

Not much to say. Has been working fine for a couple of months now. It was very nice that the OEM connector is all part of the deal as you really don't want to have splices down under the vehicle in the mud, salt, water, and temperature fluctuations if you don't have to.

There's not a whole lot you can say about an o2 sensor. I have yet to see if my gas mileage has improved but by replacing this, it did clear the engine code I was getting and causing my truck to run like crap. If you have an older vehicle like I do, you might have to take your vehicle to a shop to have them put this in. Unless you have the tools. The guy at the repair shop have to cut my old one out because these things get nearly welded to your exhaust manifold over the years.

Between this, the Walker Exhaust 15684 Standard Domestic Converter, and Dynomax 17450 Exhaust System, check engine light went away and truck runs twice as well and gets better gas mileage (plus doesn't stink up cab)

Our engine started tripping a P0032 fault code indicating a problem with the upstream O2 sensor. After installing the Bosch 15122 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment the engine light cleared.I'd recommend picking up the Lisle 12100 Oxygen Sensor Socket to assist with getting the old O2 sensor off. You will also probably need to use a fair amount of WD-40 on the old sensor, depending on how bad it is rusted on to the back of the engine. A wobble extension, a breaker bar, and some old-fashioned elbow grease will also make the task easier. If the parts are quite rusty, make sure that you are using good quality tools (chrome vanadium) otherwise you will destroy your sockets/wrenches.

This is identical to the OEM Bosch component installed in the 1997 Subaru Outback. The connector is for the rear catalytic converter in the exhaust system.

Got an engine check. Replaced with this item and the light is gone. Didn't do anything else...it cured by itself.

I replaced both 02 sensors. My caty still was failing or maybe it failed after the 02. I don't know. All I know is the light didn't go off until I got the caty replaced. Never the less works great and no more light!

The sensor fit in well with no issues attaching harness. The harness on this one is a bit longer than the original which is actually a plus because the original is a bit of a stretch - just be sure to move any slack away from the exhaust on this one.Since installing, I went from 9 mpg to 15 mpg so the one that I replaced was obviously shot. Also, the exhaust is not as rich anymore, especially after the vehicle warms up.For the install, I used a 21 mm O2 sensor socket to break the old one loose after warming the outside of the exhaust pipe near the sensor with a propane torch. To unscrew it the rest of the way, I used an adjustable wrench. The whole process took 15 min, including getting up for tools, positioning shop lights, etc.

I gave this Oxygen sensor 5 stars because of Bosch quialty.I had the orignal on my 1994 GMC truck that needed to be replaced.The price was very reasonable much cheaper then after market auto stores and dealerships .I recommend Bosch products to all my family and friends.

Got the same error code after replacement - returned the item... Turned out the computer in the car was bad (ECM). Think this was a good part and a good deal. The computer replacement was not so much a good deal $700+ from the dealer! The dealer would not diagnose the computer issues with an after market O2 sensor possibly throwing a code - so I was forced to overpay to get one through them - turns out it was not the problem...

2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, fault code P0136. This little baby fixed her right up. Well packaged, fast delivery, no worries.One thing to note- the Oxygen Sensor socket tool that is recommended by some other reviewers will not work on (at least) my model of Impreza. Due to the angle of the sensor, and proximity to the body, there's not enough clearance to use the socket. I went to a local auto parts store to buy an "open" type tool, but they had an O2 tool kit that you can check out for free, just give a deposit, and receive a full refund when you return it. Worked out just fine.

Anecdotally, O2 sensors can 'go bad' with no Check Engine lights on Cherokees. Poor gas mileage is a symptom. Used this to replace the upstream (before the catalytic converter) O2 sensor for my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. So far it's really improved my gas mileage.It was a direct replacement, no problems installing it.

when I purchased my 1996 grand cherokee 4.0 the check engine light was on because there wasn't an oxygen sensor so I purchased this oxygen sensor (much cheaper than the parts stores). It came with anti-seize already on the threads so all I had to do was remove the plug in the catalytic converter, screw this in, plug the connector in and cleared the engine codes (i did this by removing the neg cable for 5-10 mins). No more check engine light. Works great!

My Ls1 trans am had a Service engine light and a misfire not long after installing headers. The regular bosch o2 sensor did nothing for me. As soon as I installed this corvette sensor the light went out and the misfire is gone and I no longer need the extensions. Recommend these for f-bodys with long tube headers.

What can i say about an oxygen sensor?It is a Bosch product and it fits like oem, probably was oem. Works fine after the initial fire up, when it stumbled a little while the system relearned the parameters. I replaced all three of them and runs very well. will see if gas mileage goes up. Replaced at 150K miles, just because of age..

I was driving with a check engine light on and had very poor gas mileage. Had a mechanic read the engine code and found out it was a failed oxygen sensor. The auto parts chain store wanted $90 for this same sensor which is a steep difference between AutoPartsWAY.I had never installed a oxygen sensor before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I do most of my own auto repair work but I'm not a professional. But installation is very simple and can be done by anyone with half an hour of free time. If you have an oxygen sensor removal tool its very simple but there is a way around it. With a hammer break off the old housing, this will leave a perfect 6 point hex to ratchet out of the exhaust pipe. After its out the Bosch one will simply wrench into the existing hole.It's such a simple job and many mechanics will go over the top (my mechanic said he'd do it for $200, but warned me after we agreed on a price that sometimes the sensor "breaks" it becomes a five hour job). This is a DOWNSTREAM oxygen sensor. It will not fit the upstream plug on a 2004 Hyundai Elantra. This will only install behind the catalytic converter underneath the car (not under the hood). The UPSTREAM sensor for a 2004 Hyundai Elantra is a Bosch 15646, located under the hood on the exhaust manifold next to the engine block. I hope this information helps anybody looking to replace their oxygen sensor on an Elantra.

Factory OEM part.Cable was perfect length, worked perfect out of the box.My car was running pretty good with 136,000 miles and no Check engine light or codes.Yet a friend of mine's car with 100,000 miles had a problem and when they replaced the o2 sensors the car ran much better. So I decided with the mileage I had to replace the o2 sensors, my car has 2 of them. I was correct that they were working OK yet with new ones my car runs better with more power.If you think about what these do and where they are, in the exhaust stream, it does make sense that they would become coated, they were, and less efficient as the miles roll up. So from now on I will replace them every 100,000 miles.I figure with price of fuel what it is and where it is going even a small improvement in fuel mileage is worth pursuing. I was experiencing an occasional "service engine soon" light on my dash. The dash light would come on and stay on for a few hundred miles to sometimes over 2000 miles. It eventually would go out only to return once more. The computer was registering a P0420 code which means that something is not right with the emissions system. After a lot of internet reading I decided to replace both the front and rear oxygen sensors. The rear sensor - this one - was very easy to reach. It did require an acetylene torch to remove the old part. It was heavily corroded. Installation of the new part was very easy. I have not seen the "service engine soon" light since both oxygen sensors were replaced. The Bosch replacement parts looked exactly the same as the original equipment that I removed from the exhaust system.A word of caution. My local parts store wanted more for one of these than I paid for two of them from AutoPartsWAY and that includes shipping. Worse yet, the parts store wanted to sell me their store brand universal type that require you to splice on your old connector. These Bosch sensors are higher quality and come with the proper OE dongle attached. They have anti-seize thread compound already applied to the threads but be careful when you take the protective caps off. You don't want to get any of that compound on the sensor itself. I've had very good luck with Bosch products in the past and this is no exception. High quality parts at a great price and fast AutoPartsWAY shipping gets five stars.

Good O2 sensor, the only bad thing i could say about it was the threads seem a little...short...i guess is the only word i can think of. You had to really push hard on it to get it to start to thread in.Other than that, it has kept the check engine light from coming on for months now.

Needed new 02 sensor for my 96 lhs and I looked at all of the local part stores but they were charging 50+ for one, logged on to AutoPartsWAY found what i need ordered it opened it up and it looked super short but it fit my vehicle just right.

My local Saturn dealer tried to charge me $625 to install 2 of these. Oh well, I guess it is that new streamlined user experience that was supposed to be their hallmark. I paid $140 here. Because the exhaust manifold is stainless steel, these do not get stuck. Be ware of generic 5wire sensors on EBAY, they will not work for this application. There is a special chip in the connector that is matched to this version of the sensor. you cannot just clip the wires and splice something in.

I was very satisfied with the Bosch O2 sensors I got. They came with anti seize paste on the threads which is a big plus. After replacement car ran much better and gas mileage improved quite a bit. If I knew they were such a great price I would have replaced them sooner. If you are going to replace them on a Taurus vulcan engine get a O2 socket from one of the auto parts stores that loans tools as the firewall bank sensor is very tough to access. LH

Got this for my Vulcan 3.0! It is all around the correct part, albeit that the wires are a half inch too short. Which might not be a bad thing! Since too long of a wire near your exhaust is asking for trouble(I don't know how long the sensor with longer wire is) I just popped the stock wire holder out of the chassis(to get the extra 1/2") and used a couple ziptys to hold it instead!I always thread the sensor in first and get the factory applied antisieze into the threads and then add a bit more of my own. I keep my cars along time, so a bit extra makes the next time easier on a semi rusted exhaust!

I selected the Bosch O2 sensor for my Ranger because of the Bosch name and because it was the only other brand which had a tip which looked just like the Motorcraft. Once I removed the old one (using the OEM socket set) I was able to confirm that the sensor tip was identical to the one from Ford. Although the original one was 9 years old and had 139,000 miles it had not set a code but apparently it had become lazy or contaminated as I had some driveability issues and the exhaust tip was sooty. My Ranger now gets better gas mileage by 1-2 mpg and the engine response/smoothness has greatly improved. With gas being $4 per gallon I kick myself for not changing it sooner!

This sensor replaced my stock sensor on my 99 dodge ram 1500 with the 3.9L. Replaces the one after the cat. Looks to be stronger and more well built than the oem sensor it replaced. Plus it's made in America. Gotta support the middle class. It works great. The only downside is I paid way more for it at an auto parts store. AutoPartsWAY has it for way cheaper than I paid.

I just received these oxygen sensors and these appear to be the OEM replacement part. These were about $25 cheaper than anyone else, they came in 2 days and I just installed them this morning in a 2000 BMW E46 323ci and noticed a big difference in MPG and the car seemed a little quicker as well. My car has 126,000 and was overdue for these - the original sensors were definitely worn. These are the pre-cat sensors by the way - E46's need post-cats as well

When I saw my check engine light come on I was pretty scared because thats always expensive!I took it in to get the error coded read and walked out with 3! Anyone with a 7/8 wrench, a phillips screw driver, and jack can change this part. I was quoted almost $800 to fix my car and I did it myself for under $200 and got new break pads!

This is the rear (behind the catalytic converter) Oxygen sensor for a few different versions of Subrarus, including my 2001 Forester L. The heating element in the old sensor died (a P0037 engine code error) and I picked up one of these. I bought a Oxygen Sensor 3/8 drive socket to go with it and it took about 30 minutes to swap out the old one and put in the new one. Be sure to purchase some anti seize lubricant with copper Loctite - Copper Anti-Seize Stick, 20 gramOn Sale (37616) to coat the threads with so that if have to replace the O2 sensor again you can actually get it out of the socket. It's an easy job to do and I'd think anyone that can handle a socket set can do it. Don't pay $300 to have someone else do this job when you can do it yourself. Good luck!

Bought this a year ago here at AutoPartsWAY.com and finally got around to installing it in my 1991 F150 based on age and mileage (97k). It fit just fine and the cable was an exact fit for the OEM harness. Surprisingly, the old one came out fairly easy with a warmed-up exhaust, 7/8" open-end wrench, a little PB blaster, and a couple of taps from a rubber hammer to get it started. Only issue was the threads in the exhaust got a little dinged up, but a quick run to Autozone for an Oxygen Sensor Thread Chaser ($9.99) solved that problem. I also added more anti-seize to the threads on the sensor as what came with it seemed a little sparse ... not that I ever plan to remove it.

Not sure if you can convince me that there are quality differences in o2 sensors but Bosch is a brand name so thats what I slapped into my new cat-vertor...no idiot lights illuminated so I reckon it works just fine.

After replacing the front oxygen sensor on my 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT with a dealer purchased sensor(about 90 dollars) my check engine light was still on. Upon further investigation with my OBD reader I realized that it was the oxygen sensor near the catalytic converter that was bad. The wiring length on this unit is only 12 inches. Would not fit my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 which requires 18 inch wiring length. Note the length when ordering as the website states it will fit and does not state wire length. You might want to measure yours before ordering. I must say also that AutoPartsWAY is great for return this hassle free.

I bought the Bosch 15705 to replace the upstream oxygen sensor (the one before the catalytic converter) on my '98 Dodge Dakota. I had to replace it after the check engine light came on and my code scanner showed error code P0132.Since the original O2 sensor was made by NGK, the Bosch looks different in appearance but that doesn't really matter. Replacement was quite easy. All I used was a 7/8" flare nut wrench. A box end wrench won't work because the connector is too large to fit through. The Bosch sensor comes with the threads already coated with anti-seize compound. The electrical connector is an exact replacement so no cutting, splicing, or soldering is necessary.A week after I did the replacement, I took my Dakota in for State inspection and it passed!The only thing I regret was that I bought mine from the local auto parts store instead of from AutoPartsWAY. I could've saved myself $20.

What I found when searching for the "correct" O2 sensor was that this particular sensor is shown as being "not correct for my vehicle" on AutoPartsWAY. Good sensor. I have a 97 camaro and swapped in a 98 LS1 motor with longtube headers on it. I had to make extensions for the stock O2's, and was then getting the infamous "slow response" DTC. I purchased the Bosch 13111's and the code went away, and the wires for them are long enough that I didn't have to make extensions for the LT headers.

I purchased this item for use in my 98 Saturn SL2. The sensor doesn't look exactly like the OEM one but it works and fits like the original one. The size of the wrench needed to remove the sensor is 22 mm. It installs easily and the electrical connector is the same.It comes with anti seize compound on the threads. Be careful not to get the compound on the open ports of the sensor as it may affect its performance. The sensor appears to be working as it should. The service engine soon light has not come back on since I installed the new sensor and the gas mileage has even improved! A great item at a good price.

It's an O2 sensor, how hard could it be to make? The product would flawless as if it were OEM. Bosch still has not let me down, despite many bad reviews I have read about them! Price was around 40 bucks per sensor for me, which is reasonable seeing that Ford wants around 100 bucks for the NGK products (rolls eyes)!
