2003 GMC Sonoma Body Mount Set Energy Suspension

  • Features:
    • Assures Longer Lasting Cab To Bed Alignment
    • Replace To Restore Ride Height
    • Gain Durability
    • Stronger Than Original Rubber Mounts
  • Will replace distorted and worn-out original rubber mounts to maintain car body and truck cab to bed alignment. Original rubber mounts are so soft they often crack, distort, and crush so badly they often fall off. And aluminum body mounts are too harsh for street use that they tend to break and cause other components to break.Energy's specially formulated Hyper-Flex(TM) polyurethane cab and body mounts combine the best qualities of both: they're soft enough for a smooth ride, yet rugged enough for the most demanding road or track. Most sets have a strong zinc plated steel ring molded into them - for added durability and when the application requires it.

Far superior to the OEM system. First perfect but with greater ease of assembly.

I put these on a 1989 F250 that I use for snow plowing and general hauling. Had to replace floor pans and cab mounts. These are probably the best for the money of anything out there. I was afraid they may be a little too stiff and cause issues elsewhere, but so far they're actually working out great.

Getting the old ones out was the tuff part!!!!! Body lines matched great!!! But be warned!!! Made the ride a lot rougher because the solid urethane rubber verses soft rubber stock ones!!!!!!

Better than the Daystar mounts! Much thicker and wider washers to keep the under frame side mounts from pulling through.

I used this kit for an H/C body platform subframe to replace GM's rubber isolators. Front end solidity is HUGELY improved! SUPER easy install. These are round, and the FWD platforms have an oval shaped hole, you'll just need to lightly shape them in a vise and the'll pop right in. I recommend possibly finding a filler for the void beside the metal ring that isn't used, however, I didn't and I'm not having any issues with sliding, the frame seems to be very secure under just bolt torque.Excellent product!

My husband bought these and put them on his truck, I watched him do it and it went very well and seemed simple enough if you are skilled in doing mechanic type work.

I ordered this product for my 1991 Dodge truck on the advice of others that it would work fine. It worked great after cleaning up & re-using a couple of the stock washers.

This addition to any 9c1 and or caprice or Impala, would make the whale of the car run like a shark of its time and this era!. The kit made the car level on ground and even made the car torque range broader. No harsh ride extra noises squeaks, nothing to gripe about.

These bushings are what they state to be. I used them in my 1965 Chevy Malibu and they worked out great. Thanks for such a great product.

The parts fit as OEM and should outlast the stock rubber products. The instructions were adequate and all the parts were numbered for an easy install. If I were to do the repairs again, I would also order new hardware to replace anyrusted bolts and washers. Better to have the hardware on-hand so the entire installis as new. FWIW.

I installed these on a 1981 Trans am and it made a difference. When you feel the body of your car slapping the frame and a a lot more body roll on turns, it may be time to change your body mounts. I chose these as an upgrade/replacement for my deteriorating stock set and I have never regretted it. Installing them may be a pain but do your research on how and it will be a great upgrade to your classic ride!

I replaced the bushing in my 70 Chevelle and these fit right in and made a very noticable difference in my car's ride and handling. The main down side is none of the metal hardware is included with the A-body kit and you have to re-use your old shells, or go hunt down news stuff.I was able to media blast, phosphate and then paint most of my old bushings, and then fabricated new ones out of some conduit and washers to replace the two that were heavily corroded. I then bought all new bolts. The second downside is the way energy suspension just bags every kind of bushing possible in the kit so it will fit either the small shell, or big shell bushing cars so you end up with a bunch of stuff you don't need and are paying for.If I had to do it again I'd bought the poly kit that OPG offers that has all new hardware included, and I highly suggest that path for anyone who doesn't have the tools, or inclination, to save the old bushing shells.

Product seems to be good but what is in the picture isn't what I received...I only got 2 steel washers and no steel sleeves. After some research from the company, I got what was supposed to be in this kit, So the picture is WRONG. Consumers please be aware of this....This link shows exactly what you get.[...]

These were just what I needed to mount my M-38A1 tub back on the frame! The only negative was a lack of instructions telling you where they go, but it wasn't a huge problem.

There were no instructions except one small picture; I used exploded views from LMC truck and step-by-step instructions for a Performance Accessories body lift installed at the same time. It does get a little self explanatory when you get under the truck and tear it apart, but just opening a box and not knowing what to do with stuff can be a little intimidating. Do one side of the truck at a time; Use the original body bushing supports and donuts during installation; AND expect the worst - Rusted parts, broken bolts, scraped hands and lots of online ordering of discontinued GM parts. An installation with ABSOLUTELY NO TROUBLES can be done in as little as 4-6 hours probably.
