  • This street fire CDI ignition is perfect for budget minded enthusiasts. The ignition offers capacitive discharge technology and will fire a series of multiple sparks that lasts for 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation when the engine is running under 3,000 rpm. This ensures combustion and produces great throttle response and smooth idle. The CDI is built around a durable cast aluminum housing and easily connects to points, amplifiers and magnetic pickup distributors. There's even an adjustable rev limiter for overrev protection.

      that's been around forever and continues to deliver. Not the clone, not some copy; it's the real deal. It's simple to install and with the correct cord adaptor for your distributor (extra, but also worth it) easily swappable. (Although I've never needed to.)

      Works great on my highly modified RX7. I was getting ignition breakup at high boost and this has the issue covered at 25psi.

      MSD has worked for my boats, tow van, muscle cars "back in the day".Use with a GOOD COIL and most important use high quality steel or copper-wire wound core.because the amount of energy created by this unit will quickly start to degrade normal grade wire.
