This is a great product , very sturdy. The installation instructions are straight forward, I did it alone in aboutAn hour. The positioning of the anchors that attach to the truck allow you to put a bit of contrary tensionOn the brush bar to create even less vibration ( that takes two people to do really well). It vibrates just aLittle bit, but my mounted hella lights don't show much sign of it when on moderately rough roads. I'm very please with

Was delivered quickly and fits on my 2006 Ford F-350 King Ranch. No modifications were required to attach the device.

It is made very cheap and the metal is extremely thin. You have to remove your front tow hooks to install this and I don't think the grill guard would hold up to being pulled on. The direction are a complete joke. Also, the grill guard to receive does not have the extra bar at the top center.

I love this brush guard! It's so strong! Example. I've been out in the woods and forgot to put the parking break on. The truck rolled and hit a tree in the front. I'd say it hit at about 5-10mph. And all it did was put a small bend in the bar that holds the flood lamps. It saved my plastic bumper and head lamps. :). Another example. Last winter I was leaving work and when tryed to stop at the driveway, couldn't stop and caught the right corner of a fellow workmates truck bumper. All I did was put a tinny quarter sized ding in the cover by the head lamps. It totally saved my headlamp! It's one heck of a strong brushguard. I'm planing on buying another one. But not until after this one has stopped saving my truck. Lol!!! Love this guard. It's the best! Down side to it is that it can't handle a wench. And you can't tow a vechial out of the ditch with it. So that's a bummer. But it looks great! And helps for minor bumps. And the ocional deer. Lol!!!! Or tree. Hahaha!

I purchased this for a 2004 F150 Lariat 4x4. The installation was extremely easy on this model. The instructions are different if you have a 2 wheel drive. They are also different for the 2006-2007 models (and there are extra parts, which take more time installing). I was able to get it out of the box and on the truck in about 90 minutes with NO prior experience on grill guards. I used all hand tools, no pneumatic drills or other expensive equipment required. Anyone who wants this for deer-impact protection, I think it will be worth the investment.Did I mention that it looks GREAT?

5 star product...looks great on my 04 Tacoma! Super easy to install and package arrived earlier than expected. Already Painted/Powder Coated finish to protect from the elements. My only recommendation for those of you who have lifts on their trucks is to improvise with how the guard sits on your frame, I have a 3 inch body lift so the guard sat a little lower than I would have liked...no big deal though, just fabricated some extra brackets and bolted them on to compensate for my lift...easy day.

very surprised when this product arrived. It is very well manufactured, very heavy duty. You definately get what you pay for with this product. Better than I expected, by far.

I love the grill guard. It makes my Armada look great! The quality is exactly what I expect, as I have owned many Westin Products! I would give it 5 stars, but I can no longer use the front proximity sensors now that the guard is installed, so 4 stars it is. If I am able to figure out a non-jerryrigged way to make them not beep without turning the sensors off each time I start the truck, I will update this posting...

makes truck look so much better. out in the brush alot and feel good about this product helping protect. would recommend

got it on my truck and love it. looks really nice and compliments the truck well. Got into an accident with it on and just a little bend in the bottom but the prius was pretty messed up. I would recommend anyone to get this great brushgaurd

I'm one of those guys who researches everything before buying online. I read reviews an ask ?'s. there's nothing worst then spending hard earned $ on something just to wish it was better when ya got it. This was NOT one of those times! I like the way this looks, an install was a breeze. Anyone could install it! It showed up packaged perfect! UPS couldn't even tear this up. Not just for looks this thing adds protection! Glad I got it!

nice guard but WILL NOT WORK on an XE model. brackets wouldn't work so i called westin and they said this fits titan with chrome bumper and do not make one to fit the xe. makes no sense but whatever

Delivery was quick and the product was in great shape. It's well-built and so far remains firmly attached to my truck...no rattling whatsoever. Only complaint was the inaccuracy of the instructions. It called for a certain size wrench and socket and I had to use a different size depicted...but, luckily had what I needed and completed the installation. Also, I flipped the bolts specified for use on the top bumper brackets and bottom frame attach points. Specifically, the bolts, per their instructions, deemed for the bottom were not long enough to clear the air dam, bracket, nut and washers. So, I merely flipped them...and the shorter bolts I fastened to the upper bumper were plenty long enough. The instructions specified assembly of the headlight guards, but mine were already assembled.It's possible to install by yourself. Just prop the guard on a small step-ladder and/or saw-horses and use wood blocks to get the right height needed to marry the top bumper bracket...

This was a breeze to install on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. The brackets are heavy duty and well made, and the design of the install kit makes it possible to install with one person. Just bolt up two of the bottom bracket bolts (loosely) and use them to hold the bar in place while you flip it up and bolt in the upper brackets to hold in in place. Then tighten everything up and you're good to go.Note: Shipping is by freight so you'll need to make arrangements to be home to receive it.

After reading up on several different styles of Grille Guards I decided to go with the Westins. I considered price, durability and ease of installation. The bars arrived well protected and mostly in one piece. The install was done in less that an hour with the help of one friend. Instructions were so-so but good enough to figure out the mystery areas. The bars look great on the vehicle and I am overall happy with the purchase.One the down side, the bars tend to shake wildly when larger bumps are hit. So much so that I would expect that if you did not take the time to properly adjust the bars so that they are evenly spaced on the left and right side of your fenders the bars would hit and damage the fenders! I checked the installation and bolts several times to make sure they were all correct. All was proper and tight. I have since talked to 3 other 4Runner owners who say they have the same problem. Also the cross bar that is predrilled for fog or off road lights...

I somehow was able to buy this item for around $170.00!!!!!!! It is easily worth the usual price of $455.00. Installation was fairly simple, but I had to swap out a bolt for the brace by the radiator due to the factory bolt being to short to reinstall. For the mounting of the grille guard, I used my wife and a neighbor w/ the weight of the grille guard supported by a floor jack w/ foam duct taped on it. The foam was so the jack would not scratch the grille guard. I would recommend the jack to anyone since it is not easy for even 2 people to hold this in one spot for an extended amount of time. I love the how my TrailBlazer looks now and mounting the off road lights was also a breeze. I would recommend this item to anyone who has an SUV or a truck.

After researching for this grill, AutoPartsWAY was by far the best price and with prime shipping it was a no brainer decision to get it. The part was exactly what I was looking for and installed just as it should.

The Sportsman Grille Guard looks great my GMC Yukon. It was very east to install with instructions provided. It also acts as a first line of protection against wildlife.

This is a great grill guard BUT! is does not look like the picture shown. The top of the guard has only one bar across the top not two.This is a mistake from Westin , even the picture on the box it came in is wrong. But is still the best made grill guards out there.

This grille guard is well-made and solid, and it installed fairly easily. I had to enlarge the holes underneath the radiator mount to attach the bottom mounting plates. I expect that this grille guard will hold up well against minor impacts, such as those that might break a headlight cover, etc., but the upper brackets and the mounting points used make me question how much damage it would protect the vehicle from if you hit a deer, etc.

I got this item much cheaper than any place else I could have bought it. It looks good, fits really well, has everything needed to mount it included and a minimal but sufficient set of instructions so pretty good all the way around. I got exactly what I expected. The shipping got screwed up because it was such a big item and the shipping company was gormless but AutoPartsWAY refunded me almost 25% of the purchase price so I was satisfied all the way around. I would buy a similar item from these folks again for sure.

This brush guard looks great on WJ jeeps. The black finish looks good even a little muddy unlike the chrome options. AutoPartsWAY had the cheapest price I could find on the Internet. It ships as one big piece FYI.

the guard is all one piece so the packaging is creative but very well done. the guard arrived about a week after ordering and did not have a scratch on it. installation was easy but would best be done with help, i was able to do it alone in an hour. the air d.a.m. (directional air modifier) did have to be cut to complete installation. drove over 500 miles since installation and still very tight and does not rattle. installed on a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4

This brush guard was installed on my 2006 Dodge Dakota. Looks and fits great. the only trouble that i ran into was the lower body mount bolts underneath the truck. the installation took about 4 hours and was very well worth it. i installed kc daylighter driving lights on it and they work amazing. looks great, feels great, get compliments, great purchase and product as always. keep it up westinbtw. if anyone needs help or tips, just let me know.thanks.

The guard looks great on my truck, BUT installation was a problem. The instructions are not clear as to how to install. Pictures for the install are very weak. After working on the install on my 2008 Dodge Ram for several hours without much success, I discovered that the upper mounts were marked wrong. The mount marked P for passenger side actually went on the drivers side and vice versa. Must have been built in Europe where their vehicles are backwards. The install kit was also missing a couple of lock washers.

My sons truck was missing the tow hooks on front. This made installing take a little longer. If tow hooks are in place installing will be very quick.

I purchased this produce last month. I was really inpressed how much it improved the looks of my trailblazer. I can tell you first hand it is very durable. I hit a deer the very next night. I didn't miss the brushguard up at all. My door is a differnt story. I would highly recemend this product. It is worth the looks and the safty. kb,sc

As with most things, the assembly/mounting instructions left a bit to be desired in terms of accuracy. However, this grille guard is not very complicated, so figuring out specifically how to mount it wasn't difficult. It is a good looking, stout product and I was not left "wanting" for anything to be improved on it.Shipping however, was an entirely different story. It was supposed to be 5 day economy shipping. It finally showed up 18 days later, after badgering the freight carrier many times. AutoPartsWAY was zero help or assistance in getting the shipment kicked loose out of the Seattle freight depot where it sat for 12 days before finally being delivered to me (65 miles away).
