The Leaf Spring Hanger fit perfectly. All of the hardware was included. This should last the life of the truck.

These fit like the original part and were easy to install on my 1999 Ford Ranger, they are a great price and came with all the necessary hardware for replacing the old, worn out brackets. Have had these on my truck for around a month and could not be happier with the performance of the part in comparison to the factory original.

i installed this on my 1992 k2500 pickup truck, got me out of a jam. locally they wanted almost twice as much for same part. and it arrived very quickly. high quality high durability easy to install once you get past the rivets on the old one. can't thank you enough

This bracket went on my '91 Ranger when I installed Deaver F31 leaf springs. The bracket fits perfectly. If you're smart you'll throw away the (supposedly) grade 10 bolts/nuts that came with the bracket. I destroyed two sets of them and then gave up and bought true grade 10 bolts from the local hardware store. There is no way that the bolts/nuts that came with the bracket are grade 10, regardless of what is stamped on the bolt head. I think these are unsafe and Dorman should be ashamed to have provided such low quality hardware. As posted in a prior review the OEM bracket is riveted to the frame. You'll have to grind off the heads of the rivets on one side. The best access is from the outside of the frame. Take the bed off too and you'll have lots of working room. You could try drilling out the rivets but you'll be there a long time.I also purchased the Dorman shackle kit. The bolts that came with that worked fine.

Replaces factory leaf spring hanger at a cheaper price than at local auto parts stores. Works just fine for what it's intended purpose is. NOTE: Check the clearance of the bolts/frame during install... I experienced a creaking noise that dumbfounded myself to the point where I took it to a mechanic and they said that I must have installed something wrong that it must have twisted up somehow... They claimed they fixed the issue but shortly after driving for a while the noise came back... Turned out to be the bolts were rubbing against the frame causing the creaking... Just took my dremel to the bolt ends carefully and trimmed a very short length of them off and haven't heard a single creak since.

Sure, Ford did not intend these to be replaced, and the job is neither fun nor particularly easy - but this part makes it as painless as possible.I chose to add 3/8" plates drilled to the mounting pattern behind my frame rail to make the mounting area a little more substantial. I can't imagine how this part would not be stronger and more resistant to rust than the original factory part, or the frame itself.Yes, the bolts are tight threading. They're replacing hardened rivets and need to be very tight & strong as this is a major structural component in a 1.6 ton (empty weight) vehicle. Use them - they're supposed to be difficult to install (and thus difficult to remove).

Good quality. I reamed to 7/16 holes to bolt to frame and used grade 8 fine thread. The bolts that come with brakets are too small diameter to fit the holes tight. It maybe would not have been an issue but for another $5 I did not want to take chance.

I have a 96 Ford F-150 4x4 and This was the right part to replace my rotted out bracket. If you can get the bolt out of the leaf spring then Replacing these will be a breeze. I hope this helped. The shackle here I was sold Doorman 722-001 was wrong and too small. I returned it with no prblems in the 30 day period. Good luck. BTW: these are Made in China.
