      replaced the stock filter and the fit is perfect. Unfortunately, there is no apparent difference between the stock filter material and this one which is supposed to contain a layer of activated charcoal. Unless they have figured out how to make charcoal colorless and take no appreciable space, then this filter DOES NOT CONTAIN CHARCOAL. Save a couple of bucks and buy the stock variety...And tip to make installation easier:The filter has three notched fins that can be broken and allow the filter to fold back on itself during installation. This may allow you to install without removing the vent duct first. Unless you've done it before, you'll probably need to see what you are doing, but it's worth a try and will save 10-15 mins. Or, just follow the instructions included and pull out the glovebox, drop the wiring connection and remove the duct; easy peasy.Best of all, no more stinky smell after using the A/C.
