If your washer pump died or is dying on your BMW X5 E53 and you need to replace it, you will need this as well.... Change this because it goes bad as well... Very easy to install yourself, and I highly recommend the URO Washer Pump and you can change all of this for less than $20 as the dealership "Stealership" will charge you $200 to replace and install the washer pump and this...Do it yourself...

Fits the W124s. 2 needed if you have headlight wipers (2 pumps). If you're deleting headlight wipers and removing a pump permanently, in ADDITION to this grommet you will need a plug that does not replace the grommet, it installs inside it. Search AutoPartsWAY for "OES Genuine Washer Reservoir Plug for select Mercedes-Benz models"

The original grommet/strainer on my X3 was leaking. When I filled the washer resevoir with fluid it would leak out in about a day. Replacing these simple grommets took less than 30 minutes and the tank now holds the wiper fluid once again.

As advertised. What's to say really? it's a grommet with a strainer. Seems to be a direct replacement although not sure if it's OEM or not. Regardless, it popped right in and doesn't leak.
