2013 Dodge Charger Disc Brake Pad Set - Rear EBC Brakes

  • Features:
    • Lowest Dust Pad In Range
    • High Friction Low Heat Fade
    • Great For Fast Street And Premium Sedan
    • Ideal European Vehicle Brake Upgrade
  • There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90-percent. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in ALL OTHER pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.This material is a Synthetic Fiber based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer; it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking. It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50-percent dust reduction. Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

Great street performance brakes. The only reason i'm giving them 4 stars is because they are not as low dust as they make it sound. The stopping power is great though and as far as I can tell the performance is definitely there. They feel a lot more safer than the stock brakes on my 2008 civic si. I'm very pleased.

While the EBC Yellowstuff are great pads (used them many times before),in this particular case, the parts listed here DO NOT FIT THE AE86.So yeah, lmk if you find the right ones.

These brake pads are sooo much better than the stock ones I had on my G8 GT. Stopping distances were reduced, stops are strait and true, and there is no fade. My only complaint is the dust. There are clouds of dust. I know it is a trade off, but cleaning rims every two weeks is getting old.

They perform very well on street and track day. After two days of hpde (roughly 3 hours track time) they are 50% worn on front, maybe 20% on back from brand new with 1000 Street miles on a Chevy Camaro SS which is a heavy car. After initial break in of 500 miles they stopped sequeecking and we're completely silent on street. They did wear off relatively fast on track but on the bright side my brand new rotors got very little wear, so the pad sacrifices itself. I would try the blu stuff next. I liked the following firm pedal feel on these to see if they have bit stronger grab.

I don't have the squeaking issue most seem to have, the only thing I see now is more brake dust but they DO make a big difference in stopping

Stopping is good. Mine never stopped making noise after the break in period. Yes I followed the directions. Messy too. Leaves more brake dust on wheels and body than oem pads.

Fast delivery, well priced, and as described for fit. I don't know yet if I like these British pads and rotors on my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 truck RWD. This is the second set and in 50K. I also have a pair on a classic mustang.Stopping capability is excellent, longevity should be better I think.

Lots of brake dust. Going on 2000 miles. Still getting a good amount of dust.Stop great once they are warm. Initial stops in the morning when things are cold show significantly reduced performance. I.E. the stop at the end of the driveway takes twice the effort. Once I get to the first light, they are normal.Less brake fade while trailering.Getting sick of all the brake dust.Lots of squeeling the first 500 miles. Still get a little bit during slow, stop/go traffic.Did I say lots of brake dust? Man these things have painted my rims a nice flat black.

What you need to understand is these pads are much softer than oem, the softer the pad the harder it grips and the faster you stop, also the faster they ware. Slotted rotors cut your life by at least a quarter because they scrape the coating of dust and crap off creating more dust, for stock apps, these are over kill go to o'rileys and get Wagner pads, if you want performance these pads with the drilled/slotted rotors stop my Silverado like a vet, so yes they perform... WELL!

Excellent brake pads for daily driving with some spirited curves in between. I installed them on a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, non-brembo brakes version, and installation is as smooth as any other brake pads. The paint is high quality and nice and glossy on the sides and rear of the pad. The shims also look pretty good and complete. Just remember not to reinstall the OEM shims on top of these. With just one set it's enough. A great plus is that it also includes a small packet of brake grease, which is nice. Apply these to the tabs on the sides of the pad, on the rear of the pad (over the shim) and on the sliding pins on the caliper. One thing that diferenciates EBC from the pack is there abrasive coating on the surface of the pad. That dark color portion is intended to accelerate the wear in period and level slightly the surface. It's always preferable to install pads on new rotors, or at least resurfaced rotors. Given that new rotors nowadays cost barely more than the pads, and...

So far these are excellent and at a great price!!! I had a problem with the insides of my 19" wheels constantly being covered with crap. Get a car wash and have them totally wiped out, and about a month later they were completely black again.I've only had these for about 4 months but so far the difference if very noticeable. May provide an update when it warms up and I can push the driving a bit more.

Still breaking them in but so far quiet and seem to have good bite. I do have dimple drilled/slotted EBC rotors and they work great together. Cheapest place to find them ( I saved over $30). Give them a try you will probably like them. EBC has some great stuff out there.

LOVE THESE PADS!!!! lots of mountain runs in our grand cherokee and this paired with EBC GD7275 rotors did the trick. No more brake fade no more warped rotors!! I have read a lot of mixed reviews... I think the most important part is reading the instructions provided by EBC... Easy/normal braking for the first 500-1000 miles unless emergencies dictate other wise to seat the pads/rotors. Brake dust at brake in and after they are seated they dust very little. Worth the extra.

Running these in the rear of our Grand cherokee! awesome awesome awesome product!!! minimal dust. have these paired with 7000 up front and running USR rotors for these pads. Awesome results! We run up and down the mountains for snowboarding every weekend and used to experience bad brake fade and warping rotors. These with the rotors fixed all our issues + no dust and better brake bite!

For my last 3 brake jobs, I've used Akebono ProAct ceramic pads. I love that they're dead quiet, last forever, and produce very little dust, but I hate the lack of initial bite. To me, it almost feels like there's air in the brake lines. (I flushed twice the first time I used them. Then I found out that's just how they feel.) Also, I was warping rotors faster than running through the pads themselves. This time, I decided to go with the Ultimax. They're great! It's a really nice OEM feel. Even though this is EBC, these are not racer pads.Caveats:Dust! After 250 miles, there's still quite a bit of it. The EBC site says to expect this until nearly 1,000 miles. (I just bedded mine in, so maybe that will fix some of it.)Speaking of which, the install procedure is to put them in, brake softly for the first 200 miles, and then do a regular bed-in. (hard brake 60-10mph five times) The special coating gives good performance out of the box, but makes...

Came in on time, was new and in original box as described however a constant problem I have had with the AutoPartsWAY packaging is the tape on the box. This is a slightly heavier item and the box the item was in completely tore open where the AutoPartsWAY essentially masking tape sealed it. The product was not damaged when it came out of the box but this is not the first time the AutoPartsWAY tape has ripped a part at the seams.. I rate the product a 4 star but the packaging tape a 0 star.

Used in an 09 Honda Accord Coupe EX-Leather I4 and these were some of the best breaks i've used. Quite, effective and definitely had a huge impact on stopping distance. I made the mistake of going with OEM type replacements on the rears for the replacement after these wore out about 3.5yrs later and even though they were about half the price it was the biggest mistake I could've made. The OEM in comparison are creeky, have a longer stopping distance, and are ineffective in comparison.

Replaced front and rear. Much less dust and stopping power equal to or better than the Textars (stock) I replaced. Porsche 996Note that there was a quite loud grinding noise i could actually feel in the pedal for the first few miles. This is normal as the pads are sprayed with an abrasive made to quickly cut the glaze or coating off the rotors. Though a little scary sounding, it goes away in 50 miles or so.Remember to BED the pads after 500-1000 miles. I had coated new ATE rotors so it needs to wear down to completely bare metal on the pad surface. After 10 quick cycles of 60-10 mph stops, the brakes were fading (trouble stopping). You want to get the rotor/pads this hot to be them also to tempter the rotors. These aren't your standard pep boys pads to just replace and drive off.

These have all kinds of warnings and bed-in procedures included but after less than half way through the betting instructions they were already a noticeable improvement over the house brand pads that were on my 2000 Corvette before. I almost went with the Yellows but this is a daily driver and the Yellows would have been over-kill. They'll go on the fun car that occasionally will see a track day.

Per the instructions they take a bit longer than other pads (Hawk, Carbotech, OEM, etc) to fully bed in, but after about 500 miles including a couple hard braking sessions they've settled in nicely. They're safe when completely cold (30 degrees), adequate when marginally warmed up during casual commuting, and come to life with just one good hard stomp on the brakes to get them up to temperature. Noise is minimal with only one corner squealing while cold, once warmed up they are silent. Braking performance for double digit speeds is fantastic with strong initial bite and no fade , I haven't had a chance to try them on track or extended spirited drives yet. I may come back later and update my review based on how hard they are on rotors, how much dust they create, and how they perform in high-stress driving scenarios.

If you're contemplating purchasing EBC brakes either as OEM replacements or for sport, my suggestion is do it. I did some research a few years ago and found that EBC makes some of the best brakes in the world. And the cost isn't too expensive either. Ever since then EBC is all I buy, either the OEM Ultimax type or the Greenstuff. This time I went with these OEM replacements. They are high quality, come with everything you need, and don't make noise. They provide great stopping power and they have minimal dusting. Highly recommend.

I installed these on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, with a 5.9L, and well, I have to say I really do like the way they grip. The issue is, I have aftermarket rims, that are 17 inches and these brake pads rubbed a groove in the back of my rims. I'm assuming they are the rims not the brake pads, but the previous pads did not do this.I have the stock rim's at home. In short, you cold just take a dremel and smooth out the edges that hook into the caliper and not have an issue. (May also be my caliper as the other side is really close, but does not touch the rim at all.

Installed these on my sons '93 Ranger 4x4. We have had the truck for about 5 years now, originally purchased to practice desert pin-striping. Now that it has been handed down, we have lifted it and put on 33x12.5 tires. These pads stop the truck better than any other pad it has had previously, even with the larger tires.

Great brake pads...good bite and very quiet....why three stars? They lasted a grand total of two days on the track...EBC claims these have the best life of any of their pads...need to find something with a bit greater life...for nearly $300 for a front and rear set, I expected at least 4 track days out of them.....

Purchased these pads for my rear brakes on my Acura RDX, along with stoptech pads in the rear. Both brakes exceeded my expectations. Testing them after proper brake in resulted in little brake fade after repeated stops from 100-25, I did this 10 times in a row and the brakes didn't overheat at all. ( note : I did not purchase drilled or slotted rotors, I'm assuming a slotted setup would work best for someone who wants to track race his/her car.)Pros:-increased stopping power-almost zero brake fade after multiple hard stops ( have not taken it to a track, but they are more than adequate for spirited street driving).-quiet braking ( stoptech does not make a sound )-little to no warm up needed ( living in Canada where it can get to -45c this is somewhat important for winter drivingCons:Expect more brake dust than a stock pad( a trade off that is well worth the increased performance!!)EBC greenstuff pads make a very...

Expensive, but worth it. These pads don't fade unless you really abuse the hell out of them. They're a bit more smelly than other pads when breaking them in, but the longevity and performance make these pads worthy of their price.

These pads, combined with Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors, completely transformed the way my 2003 Cadillac Deville stops. The pads will be very noisy at first unless you "bed" them (see Google for procedures or call the parts manufacturer), otherwise it will take a few hundred miles for them to go through their initial wear and quiet down. There is quite a bit of dust but it's easy to wash off my chrome wheels. Overall I am very satisfied.

Replaced stock set up on an 06 Impala SS which had horrible brakes from factory. Now running EBC dimpled/slotted rotors with these red stuff pads and love it. Car stops on a dime, has great modulation and just a bit of noise (windy) from the rotors. Would definately recommend this set up to anyone.

If you visit the EBC Brakes website you will find a catalog to cross-reference their part numbers with a specific vehicle application. This particular part number works in my application (1998-2005 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t and V6) for the rear brakes. These pads are meant to be the softest of their performance lineup. This allows for the pads to be used on the street without any adverse consequences (like poor cold performance) associated with harder brake pads.Keep in mind these are PERFORMANCE brake pads. They do make noise and will dust quite a bit compared to some ceramic brake pads. The initial break-in material will cause lots of noise and heat (at least it did for me with ATE rotors). After about 500 miles the noise mostly went away. Every now and then the brakes will make a faint squeal at low speeds (or added pedal pressure). Performing a high speed bed-in does not make it go away. I end up needing to wash my wheels every 800-1000 miles (1-2 weeks) because of the...

These feel much better than the stock pads I have had on my truck for the past 72,000 miles. They feel much more firm and have less fade. No sound and less dust on the rim. I don't drive hard but do drive in the mountains a lot and notice the difference. In a good way.

For the price I expected more. First off, retain the old caliper clips that you have when you pull the old pads off. If they are messed up, go buy new ones BC these pads do not come with new clips. Second, no directions included so you have to figure out the orientation. Not a big deal, just a minor irritation for the price. Third....They squeak. enough said. I paired them with new EBC rotors so everything was new at the time of install. went 1000 miles with no brake squeal, then they started squealing. As for the Stopping power. I feel like it is no better than the premium raybestos brakes that I had before. The truck stops so they function, but when it comes time to replace them, I will not be installing EBC

GoodThese brakes stop my 6000lb truck like the day it was born. I'd say slightly better and cheaper than OEM.BadHeavy heavy heavy brake dust. Even my black rims look gray. Very tough install on my tundra. Holes were slightly too small for the pins on my truck. Might be a tundra issue. They also squeak BAD the first 500 miles. Made me think something was wrong but that's gone now. They still do the squeaking but only in reverse now.Would I buy again? Probably not. They stop my truck like its a race car but I'm not sure its worth all the cons.

Good quality product. I've been using EBC pads for years and never had major issues. I would note that the green pads do still kill rotors, so really the only advantage to them is that they dust less than a yellow. If you can deal with the dust I would upgrade to the yellows due to their improved stopping power.

Currently using these on an Evo X GSR and they are significantly better than the OEM pads. They do not generate nearly as much dust or noise under street usage. Initial bite is noticeably improved as well. The stopping power is now slightly more than my Michelin Pilot Super Sports can handle under extreme pedal force (they will start to slip under certain circumstances). My only concern is that they do not last as long as the OEM pads, but that may be due to driver inputs...

Great pads. Got them for daily driving and autocross. Yes, they leave massive dust. Yes, they do have noise when braking hard enough. And yes, they do bite hard! I ordered this based on a suggestion from the service tech at a local shop to replace the factory pads on my wife's 2001 Honda cr-v, that just now has 60k miles on it. I also (based on his suggestion) purchased new ultra premium rotors (NAPA) to go with it. These pads arrived in a timely manner, they appeared as described and were fitted in just a short time by myself, in my garage. After what seemed like an extended (like 3 months!) break in period...they are quiet, smooth and effective. They do seem to leave a bit more dust than the factory originals...and during the break in period, wow, what a mess of dust that was...

Perfect fit, same as installing OEM. It was nice that they included backing shims and grease. Brakes feel much better than OEM pads and rotors. They are advertised as "low dust," but I have tons of brake dust now, whereas I did not with OEM. Only minor complaint, as the performance is great with no fade after several hard stops. I also have had no squeaking that I was told I would have with ceramic pads. I am using them with USR slotted rotors. I am completely happy with them.

Pads dusted EXTREMELY badly upon break in but have gotten better after a few hundred miles. They still dust a pretty good amount a thousand miles later. My wheels are pretty dirty after a week of daily driving. Its comparable to a newer BMW/Benz with the dusty brake pads. Did not expect this from a pad claiming low dusting. They do stop well though. The brakes felt immediately stronger than OEM Mopar pads and have a nice progressive feel to them.

So, i am getting the brake scrape sound to replace these brakes already, it has been only about 30,000 miles since installed, about 3 years on the vehicle. We dont drive too aggressively, given the family is in the car only on highway trips. These are a vast improvement to the OEM pads, which I found were almost downright dangerous in a panic stop situation.Rear pads are down to the wear indicators, evenly, and the front pads at this rate, need to go in about another 6 mo.I will try the akebonos next.Rotors seem to be fine, no excessive wear and mic out to normal range specs now. These are great performance pads, no doubt, but to me 30K miles of use isnt acceptable.I have red stuff pads on my coupe that are holding up well at 30K now...

Purchased in March of 2012 for 92' Olds. 88 Royale withe new Centerline rotors. Just pulled off snow tires and inside pads are paper thin. So 2 years and about 30K miles.I have changed plenty of brakes and never had pads and rotors make a big of difference in pedal feel than these. I received comments from everyone that ever drove the vehicle on how good the brakes felt. I primarily drive this car as a winter beater, so plenty of salt, snow, etc. Since I have put these on my Toyota Avalon and will soon put them on my son's escort. I felt more of a difference with the car with rear drum brakes than I did with the 4 wheel disk set-up on the Avalon. Always use with new rotors, and thoroughly bleed the brakes. I usually drive 100 miles and bleed again. These pads surprised me. They are expensive but in my opinion if the driver feels more in control with a firm & linear brake pedal feel then they are worth it to me. They were quiet & low dust as well.

These pads have excellent stopping power. I have no doubt about the ability to stop the car (2010 Lexus IS 250) in a reasonable range. The brakes that were on the car when I bought it felt soft and spongy but these are not.The low dust aspect is really missing on these. Because these pads have a "brake in" coating designed to scuff the rotors, I initially thought the dust on my rims was the coating. After almost 2 months with the pads on the car, the brake dust is really bad with these. I have to use a scrubbing pad to remove the dust from the rims and 3 days later there is another layer.I'll probably use EBC pads on my 4x4 in the future but for the Lexus I'll go back to OEM low dust pads.

After intial break-in these brakes will stop shorter, quieter and no fade with almost Zero brake dust. Now after you install these pads your will experience heavy brake dust for a while. But the benefits faroutweigh the negativity of the brake dust.I replaced a earlier set that was on the truck 4 years old, I figured it was time to replace them so I ordered new padsand upon taking the old ones off I noticed they were at least 3/4 pad left remaining. But since I had new in hand and was ready to install, I just put them on anyway.I want to highlight the fact that if you have new rotors and the rear brakes are adjusted on a regular basis you will havegreat stopping all the time. These pads are not just pads; This is real stopping power.

I purchased these for my 2007 Tahoe looking for an upgrade in braking power. The pads arrived quickly and installed without any trouble. I have seen an immediate HUGE increase in braking performance. They are truly amazing in terms of the differance in stopping distance and pedal feel. The downside is the dust.. They generate a huge amount of black stubborn brake dust. I can wash my car and wheels and literally within 3 days the front wheels are coated again. I guess that is the tradeoff for sticky pads.. Sick braking performance but alot of cleanup.. I can live with it for now.

I've used Centric ceramic pads previously and it does do the job with my cross-drilled and slotted rotors and it didn't make any dust on my rims. Granted now I have increased my stopping power with the Greenstuff, but plenty of dust on my rims. I have to wipe the rims every other day! If stopping power is what you are wanting, this is the pads. If you don't like cleaning your rims that often, then choose Centric Ceramics.

Excellent pad for the money. I bought these pads for my daily driven 1995 f250 2wd and these pads coupled with good rotors are great. Bite hard, minimal to no noticeable dust after 1000 miles, seem to have good wear life. I coupled these with new brembo rotors and the combo is astounding, amazing for towing. Those are great brake pads. But make sure you break them in by not braking too hard in the first few 100 miles unless for emergency. These are the rear brakes for my 2005 Saab 9-5 Aero with solid (non-vented) rotors. I have a 2005 MINI Cooper S, aka R53, and these pads fit the front perfectly. Besides that there is less dust and the braking performance is outstanding. These pads are so grippy when you stomp on them but can modulate very well when tapping lightly on the brake. I have not had a chance to try them out on the track yet but on the street they are more than adequate. Look at the Redstuff DP31701C for the rear on the R53.

These are good pads, but I was expecting less pedal effort. They do stop however, and with virtually no fade when the vehicle is driven hard. I'd say these pads are on par with Akebono, or maybe old (USA-made) Bendix ceramic pads. I like the fact that they're pretty low-dusting, which makes for cleaner wheels.I paired the pads with s, which are excellent. Also note that these are FRONT brake pads. For some reason, AutoPartsWAY doesn't list whether auto parts are for front or rear, or for left or right side.**UPDATE**I recently replaced the rear pads with Yellowstuff as well. On the plus side, it stops noticeably better. But now I think that the front pads aren't Yellowstuff but rather mispainted Redstuff pads. The front wheels stay pretty clean, but the rear ones are a black dusty mess after 100 miles. EBC says their yellow...

Braking pressure and stopping power stays consistent. They don't eat up the rotors. I don't care about brake dust, so I don't monitor for that. These pads also do not generate noise. Since they work for me I do not use other brands.

Easy install and bedding process. Low dust feature a plus along with superior braking capability. There's comfort in knowing my 300 SRT8 has the stopping power to match the go power of the Hemi.

Brake pad are better than I expected. These replaced the worn out factory pads. Break in was easy, but did not expect the amount of brake dust that these pads make. The manufacturer claimed lest dust, but now I get more dust. Thought it would lessen after the brake in, but continued even after 1400 mile on them. Other than that these pads stops this3 1/2 ton beast better than the factory pads. Going to try the orange stuff when these pads wear out.

We are using this pad on a Miata in endurance events. The pads withstand the heat with no fade even though the paint and backing were burned off. The front pad wore down to metal after 9 hours of a 12 hour event. Virtually no wear on the rotor, minimal dust. We will be looking for a more durable pad for the longer events, but will stick with this one for medium duration events. The nice thing about these is that they work when cold, so there are no surprises during the early laps or during driver changes. I'm not sure how they would work with a heavier car, but they just the thing for the Miata.

I chose both the front and rear EBC brake pads for my 08 Jaguar XJ mainly due to their advertisement to reduce brake dust. I put these on with new rotors. It has definitely helped; but, I still get more dust than I desire. As one knows, it's a pain to wash the stuff off of rims. I should have researched to find out what pads come originally on my 06 Hummer H-2 because I get hardly any dust at all on its wheels. Anyway, the operation (braking) of these EBC's has shown improvement versus the Jag's original pads & I do not have any squealing sounds.

I have 2006 toyota tacoma, and needed to change out the pads and rotors, my truck loves to warp rotors, ive gone through 3 sets and turned twice from warping, which is apparently a common issue with these trucks from what ive read on forums.I bought ebc rotors (look for my review on those) and these pads to match. People say they give off alot of brake dust. From my experience of 1000mi I dont see much more then my previous pads (Wenger thermoquiets). Disc brakes give off dust, dont like it? Go get a old classic car with drum brakes all around. The pads them selves seem to work very well, great stopping, especially matched up to there slotted and dimpled rotors. You can definitely hear the more aggressive pad while braking with window down. And I experience no squeaking.Ebc even supplies REAL anti squeak grease, which is actually a copper based anti seize, which is what I was taught to use in automotive school, and ive never had a squeaky brake...

These are good looking brake pads, and the backing plates exactly matched the ones in my 1988 Corvette, but the pads were simply too thick to fit over the rotor when installed in the caliper, even with the pistons pushed all the way back. I had to use a belt sander to take several millimeters off each pad to make them fit. Once they were installed they worked great, with a much better initial bite than the glazed pads that I removed. I would give them five stars if they had gone on without modification.

I installed these along with new EBC slotted rotors on all four corners of my 2003 VW Beetle GLX and, despite the brake bedding process on my new rotors, I have had very little brake dust build up on my rims. These look really nice and stop even better!.

Excellent upgrade over OEM when comparing performance (good bite, excellent fade resistance) but quite noisy for first couple months (requires proper bed-in) and quite dusty pads.Recently replaced worn fronts with Akebono Ceramic pads which have been dead quiet and dust free while providing as good or better performance this far.Was also disappointed with the life of these pads, only lasting 45K kms, and I'm not a typically aggressive driver (occasionally spirited).

These brakes seem to have just a bit more sustained grip when braking. They will last just as long as OEM or longer! Fitment is OEM. No issues with noise and they come with break in material. Just make sure you follow those directions. Got to heat both the pad and disc up. They will smoke the first few times, and smell like burning brakes. This is normal. This prolongs the brake life and maximizes the braking potential.I will buy EBC again, as long as they stay British made.

I have not installed these yet, but I caution people when ordering. The product description is not clear. It says you receive a "pair". I inferred this to mean two pads, or pads for a single caliper. It actually meant 4 pads. As such, I ended up getting twice as many brake pads as I required.I will revise my rating once I get some miles on the brakes.

Installed on a 2008 BMW 535i with Sports PackagePROS:1) Bites super hard. Way harder than the OEM Jurid brake pads. This is exactly what I was looking for, so I rate it 5 stars. Installed with EBC's UPR series rotors.CONS:1) The packaging lists 300 mile break in period. It was not kidding. Be extra cautious driving and braking after installation. There's some kind of "break in" coating on the pads that cause this. I actually felt endangered.... As soon as it sets in, goodness gracious the bite is super nice.2) Brake dust like none other. If you got flashy rims, expect to use some kind of wheel protection to keep them from being smothered with black brake dust.3) At first they squealed. They've subdued a bit after 800 miles or so. Brake noise is practically unnoticeable now.

Bought these brakes last year for my '08 Civic 4-DR and I must say I am impressed with the stopping power on the brakes. Very great results. If your trying to upgrade from OEM brakes these are the ones! The only downfall to these brakes, the company states that it reduces less brake dust, but its the opposite! It creates alot of brake dust in the beggining. But once they have been broken in you dont get as much!

Purchased for a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. AutoPartsWAY says these are not the right pads for this car, but they fit right in and work perfectly. After using these for a couple weeks, there is barely any dust, no squeaks and no rattles. I did have to remove the paint from the sides of these pads to make them fit perfectly. That is the only negative comment I have for these brakes, other than that, they work perfectly.

I purchased these EBC DP31588C RedStuff ceramic brake pads for my 2007 BMW 335i. The brake pads look great and work great. I've had them for about 5 months now and no squealing whatsoever. They were easy to install and seem to brake better than the previous stock brake pads. Although the brake dust has increased, it is a small price to pay. It says they are low dust, if you want low dust go with the ebc green pads. The pads came with just enough anti seize lube to get the job done along with the metal shims. I recommend these brakes pads. Also I searched for about a week and AutoPartsWAY was the cheapest price I could find.

I purchased these Ebc Dp61742 brake pads for my 2007 tahoe 4x4. They work just as good as stock at about half the price. They come with red anti squeal line and black shims. They were easy to install with perfect fitment. My only complaint it they only last about a year with my driving. I drive about 10-12k miles per year. The brake dust with these pads is about normal. 2001 Acura/Honda Integra GS-R.These pads now have 2000 miles on them. super quiet combined with the EBC quiet Slot brake rotors.Performance is great. A more gradual bite than the semi-metalic pads I had before. Consistent braking over a range of driving styles.Dust is non existant. Now the only question is how do they wear on my rotors. I don't want to see rotor eating away, uneven wear, and inconsisten performance over the life of the pads. Time will tell. So far very happy with the brake pads.DO do the recommended bed in procedure. The company knows their products.

This is the second time I purchased these pads for my Jeep Cherokee (XJ). I intended on installing these pads thinking that I was due for front brakes but when I checked, the pads have about 50% life left on them. The pads are made in England and fit perfectly. They have a coating on the pads which helps them bed into the rotor faster. They stop very well with no fading during daily driving. They can be a bit grabby at first when wet but a light touch on the pedal at first dries them right out. They are no better or worse as far as dusting goes compared to other pads I have tried and they are quiet. I was happy with them the first time and decided to go with them again.

I track my '09 Mustang GT regularly. This is the best compromise pad I've found (have tried Hawk, and the StopTech brands as well), able to handle some track abuse (not for advanced drivers, or extended sessions) while maintaining civility on the street, meaning minimal squeaking, more than stock but still reasonable dust amounts, which is a light brown, easy to wash off and non-corrosive; and the Yellows do okay when cold, though wouldn't be ideal to use in snow, etc.The pad itself is made well, has a brazed brake-in coating that makes bedding quicker, has a rubbery backing/shim that helps quell squeaking, and I've not had any problems with pad disintegration.Note this is a ceramic pad, not semi-metallic (I believe the newest OrangeStuff is EBC's only semi-metallic). The BlueStuff is a better dedicated track pad, but does have even more dust, squeals more, and poor initial bite on the street when cold out.The RedStuff is a great aggressive street...

These pads cost a little more, for a Corolla, than pads sold in local Auto stores. However, one will appreciate the extra cost after noticing the quality of the pads and how they perform on the vehicle. Stopping power supersedes all pads I have used on my vehicles. The brake padding material is thicker and wider than most pads. This wideness provides more contact surface to the rotor, thus giving a sharper and more powerful braking action. It's impossible for one to use these pads and not notice the quick, sharp stopping action of these pads. They are very gentle on my rotors releasing very tiny portion of brake dust, while indicating the tendency to last longer .No squealing, squeaking nor groaning noise. They are overall very good

Most companies state there products are better then OEM, these brake pads live up to that claim. These pads are being used on a Pontiac G8 which is a heavy car, 4200#, therefore takes a good amount to stop. These where purchased along with EBC slotted rotors and they work very well. Multiple hard stops in traffic and shown that this combo will stop well and without issue.Only downside maybe a little noise, in the rear only, as you are coming to a medium stop. As the pads have gotten some miles, on them, it has almost disappeared.

My '01 Saab 9-3 has Greenstuff pads and EBC slots all around, the CRV has them in the rear so far. I'm a 2 decade car guy and former professional GM tech. I have never been so satisfied with a brake job. The abrasive (break in) coating makes for a very stable and predictable finished product as well as a much quicker test drive. Follow the instructions! EBC pads are unique. My 9-3 stops hard and it stops straight, even at speed. The factory brakes were not so confident. This is my third 9-3. The last one ended in a near death experience caused by a light but sudden application of the brakes at about 115mph... not that fast by gear-head standards. Car goes immediately out of control... impales car and driver on big tree. Are you too fast for your own good? You, and the people near you need some EBC brake parts. And, this is an AMERICAN company making truly innovative, high quality parts. About time if you ask me.

I used these pads in 5 cars currently; 3 Alfa Romeo Spider's, a '08 350Z, and an '07 Acura TL-S. Little to no noise or dust, excellent bite when cold, no fade, and they last long and don't chew up rotors. What more could one ask? The EBC pads also have an abrasive break-in coating to clean and condition used rotors and promote proper bedding of the pads. All in all, a great pad for aggressive street driving, but use the YellowStuff for track use.

I purchased these pads along w/ EBC Rotors pads for the front wheels of my 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL. On the Honda's they're real easy to install, and fit perfectly. I just recommend purchasing an impact driver and new rotor screws when replacing your rotors and while you're at it, flushing your brake fluid. You will also need new shims, rubber boots (to prevent debris from entering the pivot bolt) and some brake quiet.Pros: The stopping power has been significantly increased due to the new pads and rotors. I feel a lot more comfortable driving around and trailering with these on. Also the price was the best I found online, and were shipped quickly.Cons: The only cons is that for the first 2000 miles or so you will hear some whistling when you start braking, which I think is due to the slotted and dimpled rotors. Also the price was the best I found online, and were shipped quickly.Cons: The only cons is that for the first 2000 miles or so you will hear some whistling when you start braking, which I think is due to the slotted and dimpled rotors. I knew this prior to purchasing, so it didn't bother me, and I don't hear it as much now. It's nice to know that they're working. Also, other...

I use EBC almost exclusively. From my M-B station wagen to my built Mazdaspeed 3 and in between. The reds are a bit more performance oriented than the greens. If you have not checked out the line up EBC offers , i suggest you take a look. Much less dust than stockers on the MB and mre bite and progressive feel. worth every penny .

I did not like the mushy pedal feel in my Saab 9-3, so I replaced the original pads with EBC Redstuff. They are now ok, but it took a month or more while they were squealing like crazy. Luckily I gave them time, and now they are quiet. I am not sure I can see the "low dust" thing, the rims get about as black as with the original pads. But they do bite better than the original Akebonos.

I put these on in hopes of solving the brake dust problem on my MB wheels. These brakes look awesome, you can see the red pads in the calipers, if that matters to you. They also stop my R320 which is a big heavy car, very well. The brake dust may be reduced some small amount. But after a few days of driving, the wheels are coated in black again.I only bought the front pads. I will likely buy EBC redstuff pads for the rear when the time comes. But more for aesthetics and functionality. Not for dust control.I am guessing some sort of wheel protect-ant is the only solution for Mercedes Benz wheel dust issues.

These Pads really have excellent stopping power. They worked great from the first pedal push. The pads are quiet. They have generated no noise while driving or when they are applied. The bad news, the breaks create a lot of dust. After washing the car it only take a few days for the alloyed wheels to look dirty. For that reason I think I will look else ware for my next set of pads. These pads for my Highlander came with anti squeal plates. Before I notice how dusty they are I ordered a set for my Tacoma truck. Those pads did not come with the anti squeal pads.

Initially I gave a 2 star to this product but I think it deserves a 5 star rating. It has been more than a month now since I installed these pads and the difference is unbelievable. When I first bought my brand new BMW X5, I used to come home and clean my rims every other day, especially the front rims, more that the rear ones. My previous review didn't praise these pads, as next day after the installation I had noticed the same amount of black dust on my front rims as before. I am not sure what the reason is, but the first few days didn't make a difference and I thought I wasted my money by replacing my brand new OEM pads with these Redstuff Pads. I have driven close to 3,000 kms since they have been installed and only had to clean my rims twice. I have not noticed any loss of braking performance either, so I would highly recommend these pads.

The best upgrade over stock pads. Like many cars, My 2010 Jaguar XF stock pads made a mess of the wheels with corrosive dust very soon after a car wash. I installed these shortly before leaving on a 2700 round trip to the San Diego area from my home in Seattle. This is a drive from the hills of Seattle through the mountains of S Oregon and N California to the mesas of S of San Diego. This is definitely not flat land mid-USA. They performed flawlessly with great firm stopping power and zero noise.Upon returning home, the wheels would have been a black mess with stock pads. But with these, only the slightest tinge of an almost invisible light tan dust from all of those heavy duty miles. This is the rear set for my car. The front set, a different stock number, I installed at the same time so I won't duplicate this review for those.Be sure to bed them in properly per the instructions on the box. They cost more than stock pads but to me, worth every penny...

bought these my for my 92 celica alltrac ST185. I used them inconjunction with these: the brakes bedded fairly quickly and bit pretty hard. i have about a thousand miles on them now. A few things to note is that the brakes have been squeeling (which is normal). They also produce A LOT of brake dust. I do take my car to the track so I need the brakes to hold out under a lot of heavy braking. If you daily-drive or do not track, you may want to stick with EBC Greens.

I used these brake pads with my lifted F150 on 38" tires. In combination with a set of summit drilled and slotted rotors and i ve got to say they are holding up very well and not wearing out or loosing breaking power like some pads I've used while driving mountain road. Worth the extra money to ensure your going to beable to stop any oversized vehicle you throw em on.

I have these installed on my 530XI and living in GER i get an opportunity to use them a lot. Very happy with their performance. I would say they're better than stock, way less brake dust and when paired with their cross drilled and slotted rotors virtually fade free.

I do not question that these are worth nearly double the price of OE spec pads from your local autoparts store.I replaced the second set of pads on my Xterra with these, which had about 50% life left in them. I needed a full brake system flush anyways, and I wasnt super happy with the braking on the truck as it was.I am a mere 500 miles into these pads now. which according to EBC is way under the 1-3k mile break in period. They already have better initial bite and feel than the OE pads. Last week I was hauling about 880 pounds of concrete mix in the back of the truck and it had better braking manners than on OE pads and an empty truck, and they are very very quiet.I would wait longer till I was hauling more to give a review, but with my summer projects slowing down I wont be trailering anything large anytime soon.Overall I am happy with the purchase, and would make it againI haven't noticed the dust issue the...

I have had these on for about 2 weeks now. My car has had 4 different sets of rotors and pads in 100K miles. I have tried slotted rotors, Carbotech pads, Hawk pads, and now the green stuff. So far these are my favorite. No noise, linear feel, very smoothe, and light brake dust. I'm using Centric rotors with these. It's still early but I'm very pleased. You get what you pay for.Edit: I have had these for 2000 miles now. They still feel great however the brake dust is pretty heavy.

Unlike my front pads, these fit well and so far the performance is good. On my 2006 SSR, these are on the rear, so they aren't doing the bulk of the heavy lifting (or stopping). But for what they are asked to do, they seem to be working well.

These pads are for my 2003 Silverado Extended Cab 4X4. At first they were noisy to the point that they sounded like I was trying to stop with gravel rather than normal brake pads. This was the brake in coating doing it's job to deglaze existing rotors. I had purchased new EBC USR Series Sport Rotors to work with these pads. The noise lasted about the first 20 miles, with each mile quieter than the last. I followed the EBC bed-in procedure, to brake in the pads, for 400 miles. At more than 3000 miles of use, with the EBC pads and rotors, the truck stops better, smoother, quieter and shorter than any other combination I've used, up to this point. I've been working on cars and trucks for 45 years, and, while I now live in KY, I've spent most of my life in western PA where you take brakes seriously!

I needed to replace my front brakes on a newer Range Rover. I read that the EBC 7000 series were the best pads. I wasn't in love with the price, but figured I would get what I paid for, and so far that is true. I did not purchase EBC rotors. I purchased the oem replacement brand from Atlantic British for less than half of what ebc wanted. I asked them if they knew of anyone who had done this before, and they said for sure yes. They also agreed that ebc 7000 were the best pads as well. Even though they didn't sell the product! The reasoning for my going with the ebc pads was all the forum chatter. I really wanted to cut down on the amount of brake dust on my wheels. The first few days if these pads were very tough for me. I had Never seen so much brake dust in my life. In 1 day, my front wheels would go from bright silver to a darker shade. This proved to be temporary, and now the fronts stay cleaner than the oem backs. It must have been a coating or...

A Very nice street pad with good cold bite characteristics after bed-in procedures. Brakes definitely feel more responsive than OEM pads. Haven't had them long enough to see if they squeal, but most aftermarket pads will be noiser than factory. I really don't care about the dusting as long as they stop the car!Installation was easy- Comes with shims that you put on prior to installation and grease for brake caliper sliding pins.Only one pad has the wear indicator, which is fine.Overall very happy with the purchase.

I waited to review the EBC Redstuff brake pads until I put 1,000 miles of driving on them. Overall, I am very pleased with these pads and I would buy them again. The friction and braking feel is nearly identical to the BMW OEM pads. The braking responsiveness is also equal to the BMW pads. Brake Dust is about the same amount as BMW OEM pads but the brake dust is much easier to remove from the wheels. The EBC RedStuff brake dust washes off easily unlike the brake dust from the BMW pads that sticks like glue to the wheels. I replaced the original BMW rotors at the same time and purchased CENTRIC High Carbon brake rotors from AutoPartsWAY. This combination of rotors and pads works quite well and there is no brake noise at all. I almost rated as 5-stars but I deducted 1-star because I expected very little brake dust but that may have been unrealistic because I drive pretty aggressively.

I have used ebc brakes when racing and very pleased with them. When I went to a truck for towing and fun I upgraded the brakes because oem had brake fade under hard braking with a load. The yellowstuff brake pads are quiet and do not seem to have a horrible warm up period even though these are considered racing pads. Brake feel and performance is greatly Improved. This part number worked on a 2003 tacoma 4x4

These pads work great! I used the Hawk brand prior to these and these are just a bit more sticky then the Hawks. However these are much quieter than the hawks on my drilled/ slotted rotors when braking. My only issue so far (less than 400 miles on the pads) is low speed squealing, probably best described like your finger on a wine glass hitting the resonate frequency. This only happens at stop sigs, drive thrus etc.Overall, if you really drive hard and want as much wooo for your go as possible, get these pads. The Hawk pads are a close 2nd to theese because of the noise.

First of all, they bite HARD. They're definitely good brakes, you can't deny that. Being ceramic, they're known to be a little noisy at times, but these squeal a lot more frequently than other ceramics I've encountered. Also, ignore the part where it says low dust, because they're not. I have the same, if not more brake dust on my wheels after installing these as compared to my previous pads which were ferodo. While they're not bad, I don't think I'd go out of my way to recommend them to anyone. And I'm pretty sure I won't be buying them again.

Every high performance brake pad will squeak some. They are race brakes designed to stop you.. So its ether a stock replacement that wont squeak and wont stop you, or have a little noise and dust and know that your brakes will not let you down when you need them.. I have these "EBC Yellow Stuff Pads" on every vehicle and bike I own and they are amazing! I even put them on my Denali as soon as I got it off the lot... Who cares if u make a tiny noise when it comes to your safety and your family's safety?!?!?!

The brakes do what they are supposed to do, stop the car effectively. The only think I dislike about this series of pad is that there is alot more brake dust build up on my wheels than normal brake pads. Especially during the winter months this dust will harden if you do not clean it off right away and cause long hours for you to clean your wheels.

These pads are great. I am running front and rears with the USR818 Rotors and couldn't be happier. They are a great low dust solution for my white rims. They are making a little road noise, but they are still under the 1000 mi bedding the manufacturer estimates. They also look amazing on the caliper. Buying these red ceramic low dust brake pad for my Lexus LS 460 intially made me to imagine that after installing these i could see red pads from my wheels; but i was wrong they usually have a black cover which bascially covers these pads so that was the only thing that i wanted to point out; other than that the brake pads are much more affective then what i had before on this vehicle; i did notice some dust in the first few hundred miles; but after the wheel work (car wash) i noticed that it is much less than stock ones. Will definitely recommend it.

Two years ago I put these pads on my 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 diesel truck. With 7000 pounds of truck, 6000 pounds of camper and my family on board, the stock brakes were marginal at best. These pads are extraordinary. They truly inspire confidence. The harder you brake and the hotter they get the better they work. ZERO brake fade even with the stock rotors. This is a high temp race compound pad. They produce a bit more dust on the wheels but to me it is well worth it. I'm glad I spent the extra $$ on these pads.

I have only run this on my 2003 MINI Cooper since I did my first brake job. Never have an issue, never fade and they usually last 50k+ miles for each set. Great for Auto Cross and some track days, but I wouldn't use them for a full time race pad.As a bonus, they produce little dust. Unlike the factory MINI/BMW brake pads which I think are made from chalk, this are fantastic!

These pads come with abrasive coating that really helps the pads to bed in without having to turn the rotor. Brake dust is minimal especially compared to the stock pads on BMW M6. They do still squeak at very low speeds occasionally after about 1000 miles. Brake bite is good, I highly recommend these pads to everybody. Remember to get break sensor wires before you start the job (you need total of 3, there is only one in rear). The BMW break sensor wires are hard to remove and you will most likely end up breaking one when removing. If your pads are low low then you absolutely need to replace all 3 sensors.

Older Wranglers are not exactly known for their stopping power but then add 33 inch wheels and see how well they stop. I've only had these installed for a week now but the difference between stock shoes and these, on the same rotors, is night and day better. On emergency stops I used to have to mash the peddle to floor and hope I'd stop in time, it was too close a few times. I even had the whole brake system gone through, new master cylinder and booster, new back drums and brakes and new pads on the front. It still didn't really want to stop street or trail.I'm still braking these suckers in (no pun intended) so there is a little squealing occasionally but I finally have great braking power . A little expensive but totally worth it for me!

NOTE: I'm sure there are a lot of people, male and female, who KNOW that each box contains a SET of pads even though the Product Description says 'pad' which logically indicates ONE pad, BUT it might be a good thing if the seller just said 'set' or 'pair'...REALLY!My husband REALLY likes these 'yellow stuff' top-of-the-line pads. We used them on our front brakes...checked for back pads, but maybe they don't make these for rears in 'yellow stuff'...so we got their 'green stuff' for the rears. Assuming this should be okay since the rear pads wear so much slower than the fronts. We decided on the 'yellow stuff' because we are both LeadFeet and sometimes need ultra-duty brake pads on the front. For instance, we were just driving through the Florida Swamp (the whole state) and ran over one of those 30-foot pythons that are growing so well down there lying across the highway...really gooey. Brakes worked fine to prevent any skidding. Loaded up the critter remains so nobody else would...

High quality OEM quality replacement pads. They come with a brake-in compound and will give a noticeable increase in braking performance when you first hit the pedal.

Installed these on my 2009 Subaru outback and paired them Raybestos Advanced Technology Rotors. After 2000 miles on them I have no problems to report. They stop great, the car brakes like new. They produce a little dust, more the OEM brakes but seem to stop a little better.Update: after 7000 miles they still have great stopping ability, much more than the OEM, but they produce a lot more dust.

The Yellowstuff pads have just been installed on my Excursion and haven't been bedded in yet and they already feel 100x better than stock. I used Yellowstuff in the past on my MKIV R32 and I absolutely loved them on that car. They would never overheat on the track (even when I tried to fry them on purpose) and the bite is better than stock even when they are cold. Just follow EBC's recommendation of 200 miles of easy driving before bedding them in and you will be golden.

So far this is the best pad that I have found that I can take to the track and tear it up and then drive home with no issues. I highly recommend this for anyone that likes track days but can't afford a track only car.

These grab better than the stock GM pads for sure. I did all 4 tires with the EBC dimpled & slotted rotors. The rotors warped quickly but then to my surprise wore past the warped stage after another 5 to 7k. All is good now and no noise or dust is noticable. I drive like I stole it with lots of highway miles and hard braking (only when I can't swerve). Sorry for the cutoffs to all the foreign cars but you deserve it don't you (home wreckers).

Put these on the front brakes of my 2006 Honda Element and immediately noticed improved stopping power. Just after this, I towed my boat from New York to Texas in the summer and have had, better braking ever since. I just bought the rear pads but have not installed them yet.Just make sure to read and follow through on the instructions. They do make some noise as they break in but, the sound will go away after 1000 miles (for me).

I got these because they weren't as expensive as the EBC Yellowstuff and they had the most all around stats for the best price. I am highly satisfied and after I installed them there was a time when I had to brake hard to make a U-turn and these brakes really made my Mini Cooper stop FAST and also had no squeal or jerking at all. These were easy to install and feel a lot more powerful than the OEM MIni Cooper brakes. Everyone online, from the MiniUSA to North American Motoring forums claim that these are one of the best brakes out there. There is no wonder why so many people recommend them, and now I am confirming that.-Ken FlemmingAuthor, How to Get a Job in Video Games

These pads work great! I am using them on a heavy SUV which will spend time in the Colorado Rockies pulling a load so I need the stopping power. It makes sense to have a pad that wears out a little faster but stops much quicker. It is a fair trade off for more safety!

I have three vehicles that I've bought EBC products for, pleased with each one. Installed these on the Toyota last night and be prepared to stop like never before. I just replaced pads only and not rotors. Probably took longer to take wheel off then to replace pads.

I installed these pads with new factory wheel bearings and Brembo rotors. Runout was zero thousandths at the rotor. Followed the break-in procedure and then did some 60, 40, and 20 mph aggressive stops. The first 25% percent of the pedal has OE feel. Once you get on it be prepared if you don't have ABS. No noise when cold.

Paired with a new set of Brembo rotors. They squealed horribly for the first 30 miles or so, but I can barely hear them now.Maaaaan, these brakes are incredible. I stop immediately, every time. No brake fade going from 90 to 60 a few times. I can even get my new Potenza RS970's to lock, and those stick like nails in wood. They do produce a shocking amount of dust, however. Nowhere near the organics I had before, but I find myself wiping off my wheels weekly. But, a small price to pay for their amazing power. I love these pads.

I have had this on my Cooper for seven months, it has been excellent in my experience. A few observations:* I have heard comments about noise, in my case, I put in a set of new rotors, and followed the break-in instruction from EBC for the first few hundred miles. Now I have a very even grab pattern on the rotor, there is no noise even in low temperature (20F). In fact, other than one squeak during the first 30 miles, the brake is as quiet as the factory pads.* I have also heard reduced braking power in low temperature. Again, I had no problem even at 20F, perhaps I have to wait for it to get colder. No perceptible difference from factory pads.* Brake dust is dramatically less, perhaps 1/8 of the factory pad. Now, no scrubbing is needed, my power washer can completely blast the rims clean. I now only need to clean it once a month, the dust is gray rather than black, which also helps to demand less cleaning.* When my mechanic installed the pad, he was...

Installed these brakes on a 04 Acura TSX. They deliver a noticeable benefit in stopping power over the factory brakes but at the cost of a bit more dust. They do come with a breakin coating on the pads and i have not washed the rims since brakes were installed. Its possible the excessive dust is coming from the breakin. Will let you know if I ever wash the car ;-).Keep in mind I did have to grind a small bit of tab off the pad to get them to fit. Talked to my friend who had to do that on his OEM pads as well. I dont think its the fault of the pad manufacturer, something about Honda/Acura where they cant seem to get that right.

Review is for 3GD series rotors and 7000 series Greenstuff pads I installed 1500 miles ago.So farThese went on a mostly stock 2005 Silverado 1500 with 35 in tires.Look good and stop good. Went on easy just like factory parts. Deffinately stronger than stock and probably good for normal driving or towing. Great if you have stock tires or even up to 33'sI was a little dissapointed with the coverage of the pads on the rotors. The pads are kinda small and leave a lot of wasted surface on the rotors. They still work good but I can't help but think they could be better if the covered more of the rotor. When pushed hard they are just ok with the 35's, I'm going to be converting to a hydroboost setup to try to get more brake power. I have not towed a heavy load with these but I'm hoping they won't warp as easily as the stock rotors do.

I installed these after a few weeks with new front rotors and EBC YellowStuff pads on our 2010 Odyssey, and they had a noticable improvement in the bite of the brakes, providing more confident braking. I had intially hoped just replacing the fronts would do the trick, but the addition of the rear pads was well worth it.Install was easy, took maybe a half hour from start to finish. I did not replace the OEM rotors, and have had no issues.

Very good bite and tremendous braking power at any given moment, cold or hot. No need to warm them up. Only downside is the loud squeal when i turn the steering wheel and brake at the same time. Tends to squeal more in wet conditions. I hope it disappears after the bed-in process as i have only used it for 100 miles. Overall, an excellent set of brake pads for street and track use.*Update: the squeal has disappeared after 500 miles and the pads have bedded-in properly with the rotors.

Red color looks good on my painted calipers setup. Grips faster than stock ones. Yes they do dust more but that's kind of expected from performance pads. I'd rather stop on a dime and not crush than worry about dust that you can rinse with a hose in 5 minutes. Safety First.

For High-end brakes, EBC makes the best. These ceramics are great and leave very little dust, mine still have a very slight squeak to them at times, but this is tolerable since they are cleaner than the OEM.

I am not very pleased with these pads. I am using my stock rotors so that could be the problem with large amount of brake dust and the squealing. Haven't had these on very long, but they dramatically reduced the force required to slow the van down. We no longer need to brace ourselves against the seat and steering wheel to come to a rapid stop. Only wish I could get yellowstuff for the rear, but will be trying the greenstuff 6000 series on the rear shortly. The pedal is still mushy, but I'm suspecting the brake lines (also on order). The OEM brakes in the Odyssey are the worst I have ever experienced in a modern car, so I'm trying to bring them up to what I would consider acceptable: good pedal feel and good braking performance.

I've used these as an easy upgrade to an OEM system in my Jeep Patriot. Much better pedal feel, definitely noticeable improvement in stopping power. This install went with the new EBC USR slotted rotors on a 2009 Honda Pilot-even my wife-with limited reaction to anything automotive other than more horsepower-commented at the substantial improvement in the brake feel and reduced stopping distance. Though a couple hundred more than an OEM rotor / pad replacement, this is a superior braking package-very well worth it.

Installed them on a Nissan Pathfinder R50 2004 , including the front rotors. Researched well before buying. In the beginning I was afraid of overheating. I have used them 1,500 Km so far. They get better with time ( meaning break up time).Last week almost had a car crash. A small car just crossed in front of me, without looking for upcoming traffic ( they had a stop).Had to hit the brakes hard, ABS went into action. Loud sound, burnt tire smoke was produced due to friction . I was able to avoid hitting the car. Great buy.Once you try an EBC product, you will stay with their brand. Good quality products!!!March 11 2013. After 10,000 KM they were worn out. Quality is very good. With durability, I have my doubts. Car is usually fully weight loaded. Surely that had to do, with such a short life span. Bought another brand for the replacement, and will evaluate vs the other brand when they are worn out. So for the moment, I don't have facts to compare...

EBC makes very good products. I've used their Greenstuff and Redstuff pads in the past and they are excellent. Will keep buying them for many years to come. But, as a word of warning. The pads listed on this page are front pads only. I attempted to install these on the rear wheels of my 2006 F-150 King Ranch and they did not fit. Make sure you are careful when buying these. I bought a set of these to replace the front brake pads on my truck (Dodge Ram 1500). I did the installation this weekend and it went pretty smoothly. The dimensions were exactly the same as the OEM pads, which is good. Now for the great part... The OEM pads are semimetallic and leave ugly gray-black dust on your wheels, these do not do that. Not only that, the truck stops better than it ever did before... It's always been a freight train, but now it stops in a much shorter distance. These are great pads.

I decided to try these brakes because they are supposed to be an upgrade over ordinary passenger car brakes, and they may well be that. They were different from other brakes I have used in that they came with an abrasive surface that is wears off quickly as it polishes your old discs. I thought that was a novel idea, and it did seem to help seat the brakes properly. What's different from other brands I have tried is that these require a process to heat the resins by a series of hard stops until the brakes are quite hot. I am not sure if the current product still requires this or not, but mine did. I had to do a series of stops from 60 to near zero in succession, don't know how many exactly, but 5-10 as I recall. At that point the brakes smell and the resins are properly heated and cured. I was less happy immediately after this as I seemed to have lost some grab and created more dust than I expected. However the manufacturer said the burn-in was necessary to get...

I was looking for some brake pads for my ML350 and these ones were my choice. After talking to a few car experts. I finally made the purchase and defiantly don't regret it. I used it with routers from R-1 Concepts and after installing they are awesome. Absolutely no squeaking or any noise what so ever and the stopping power is defensibly there. There is very little break dust and I do constant city driving where we use the breaks often. I didn't wash the car for over a month and the break dust on the rims was very little compared to the stock ones that the car originally had. The dust is a red color and it can easily be wiped off with a rag. I would buy these again for sure.

What a difference a pad can make!! I put these pads on with StopTech Slotted rotors and now my 2007 TBSS can stop on a dime. The only reason why these pads didn't get a 5 star rating is because they create a good amount of break dust (not a good look for chrome wheels), but I'll sacrifice a little dirt for great stopping power.

These pads were easy to install on my 2009 Subaru Forester. The improvement over the OEM brakes is quite noticeable. They took a couple days to get used to because so much less pressure on the brake pedal is required to slow and stop the vehicle. The green color is visible through my rims and looks kind of cool too.

I bought these and a set of front rotors from EBC for my IS300. They work great but they create a little more dust than the stock set. Maybe it's the coating they used for bedding the pads, I just have wait and see after a few more miles. These pads seem to be very high quality, but I just can't get over the amount of dust they produce. I am using EBC Ultimax rotors with Greenstuff pads on my '02 Civic Si. After following the break-in instructions, the pads have 1,200 miles of combined, but mostly city driving. The amount of dust has decreased slightly, but is somewhere between two to three times as much as the Satisfied GranSport 6 pads these replace. I miss the aggressive initial bite the Satisfied pads gave, but these feel as good otherwise. The fun is gone now that I try to drive slowly to avoid the mess on my white, spoked wheels (the front wheels get dirty after 45-50 miles of easy combined driving now). If I buy EBC pads again, it will be Redstuff for the lower dust.8/26/12 Update: After a couple more months of driving, the pads have produced less dust than when I wrote my initial review. The pads are still at the bottom end of what I consider acceptable, but I'm glad they have improved...

I have a 2004 subaru wrx and these Brake Pads are not for my car. I have put around 3,000 miles on them now and they have given my rotors Hot Spots. I have spoken with guys at EBC and they have confirmed that I purchased the wrong pads for my car and that is what caused the hot spots and have taken care of me by giving a a set of Yellow Stuff pads to replace the Red Stuff pads. 100% A+ Customer service for EBC. AFter explaining to them that their website tells you that the Red Stuff is great for my car at a race event ... they told me I purchased the wrong pads. So If you have a subaru wrx don't buy the red stuff buy the yellow stuff. The Yellow Stuff is for "Heavier Vehicles"(according to what EBC says) I have had them on my car now for about 500 miles and these things are way better. Hopefully it stays that way.

Put these in the front of my Suby with new standard rotors. Despite all the catalogs saying so, they are not the right application for my car. They are close so with some time with a welder and grinder, now they fit. Saying that, they work great. I have have used Greenstuff pads before and like their feel better than the Hawk HPS's in my wife's car. Great initial bite and very good overall braking.

Have been running them for about six months, so far so good. Used in combination with EBC rotors, can't say I noticed much of a difference in braking really, but the dust is definitely less than stock Toyota. No squeaks, either.

After installing these, I could immediately tell a difference. Then once the 600-1000 break in period was done, I have to be careful when braking or these bad boys will chomp down on the rotors and stop on a DIME. Before I would slowly press, then as I came to closer to the stop I would have to mash harder and harder until the car stopped. Now, I ease on the brakes and let off of them to gauge when I should stop...amazing! TOTALLY recommended!

They fit just like the EO brake pads. The only difference is that only 1 pad as a ware indicator (kind of odd). Also, you should follow the brake in procedure or you will get some brake fade on your fist trip to the store (not fun). This is my 2nd set and I do notice a faster stop than the EO brake pads I was using.

While I normally apply my brakes slowly, my wife's driving is a different story. I'm sure the extra stopping power will save her life, or someone elses - one day. These brakes have plenty of dust, but it's directly proportional to their awesome stopping power. They should be paired ONLY with high-performance rotors.

Installed these brakes on a BMW 525I -- no issues with installation. At 350 miles, they are still squealing. I can live with that. However, the LOW DUST claim of these brakes makes me wonder -- low dust compared to what?. They produce MORE dust than my previous BMW pads. The dust is blacker and thicker. Absolutely worse than previous BMW dealer installed pads. Will never buy this product again.

I replaced my Brembo pads with the EBC Redstuff on my 2010 Chevy Camaro.Compared to the stock Brembos these are better in the following aspects:-braking- aggressive bite and don't fade at high temperatures-low dust- @50%less dust and it cleans really easy without build-ups-quiet- I have never heard a squeak-pad life- I changed the Brembo after 20.000km (they were 50%) and on the Redstuff I already have same mileage with two days of track use and they are @60% meat left.I liked the Brembo ones more because they were smooth compared with these one , but that was it.No other advantages.Buy them, you won't regret.Follow Up:It's been over 30.000km on them with:-remaining pad @40%-same brake feeling like when they were new, no signs of loosing braking power-same low dust-one big disadvantage is that they produce too much heat and my rotors are warped already. After hard braking you can see hot spots everywhere on...

These pads would have received 5 stars if it were not for the THICK paint. The paint is so thick that it needed to be sanded down to fit onto the calipers.Did I mention the pads are GREEN? No mistaking them on any car.

I bought these replacement brake pads for my Chrysler 300 SRT. I had issues with the original brake pads throwing off brake dust onto my wheels. The EBC Brake pads are rated as a low dust pad, and they work as advertised. I highly recommend these pads for any Brembo Brake System.

I made these break pad purchase for a 2008 Mercedes ML along with R1 Concepts (Premium Cross-Drilled & Slotted) routers. the total price was amazing compared to what I would pay for stock Mercedes parts. My biggest concern was the breaks making noise and squeaking. With this combination the first 500 miles I had to break them in but now WOW what a difference. The stopping power is amazing and there is absolutely no noise. The person from R-1 told me which were the best Routers to buy for this type of breaks pads and it was a match made in heaven.I highly recommend these not only for the price but also for the difference in stopping power that they offer. I live in the city in MA and its stop and go driving so if i have to slam it on last second they really do stop on a dime.I would recommend these breaks any time even on luxury cars.

I have these pads on my 03' Civic si.They stop well, they don't make much noise, no squeaking. What they do in fact is their job and the stopping distances are probably improved from before. Improved at the expense of dirty wheels, because within a few days of city driving back and forth to work these have my normally silver wheels appearing gunmetal. As someone who would rather not have to clean my wheels every three days, I'm left wanting something different.I purchased both front and rear of the same pads and they both exhibit the same behavior, generally speaking the front should throw more dust. For those that may ask I used new rotors in the front and my old rotors in the rear.****Update 03/26/12These have become less dusty over time, but are still quite unclean. So initial break in is dirtier than normal dusting.

These things produced a lot of dust when I first installed them but stop the car a lot better than the stock pads. Would definitely advise slotted rotors to go with them. They are on my 2007 Dodge Magnum RT which is heavy. I would highly recommend these brakes.

So I ordered new EBC brake Red pads for my Lexus. I was having lots of black brake dust on my rims just a couple days after washing the car and I was looking for an improvement. These EBC Redstuff brake pads list "low dust" as a benefit. I have not seen a big improvement in the brake dust on my rims since they've been installed. They work well for stopping the car, but the dust problem is basically the same. I still have considerable brake dust. I was a little disappoited about that. I'll try a different brand of pads next time.

Took about 50 miles to 'seat' and stop squealing. Immediate massive improvement in braking friction. I conservatively estimate at least 25% more grip on the rotors (I replaced the original rotors with ordinary Brembo rotors). There is still a little grumble from the pads when cornering hard under braking, but there is no nonsense at all about stopping. The original brakes on my 2006 Toyota Matrix XR were excellent (ABS).These pads transformed my brakes from excellent to FANTASTIC. I run General Exclaim UHP 55R16 R16 55R tires which have amazing grip that match the new brakes. If I only had another 80HP....oh well ! 8-D

I purchase the pads along with EBC rotors for my jeep. I haven't driven that much as of yet. The first time was from the shop where I had the install and it was to start the breaking in process. Driving up to 40 mph then slowly braking. I did it all the way home with my lady friend following me (more then likely she figured I lost my mind). I had zero problems on that trip and went thru the cycle at least a dozen times. I still haven't finish breaking them in (1,000 miles without panic stops) but, without a doubt these things work great. Just a light touch on the pedal and a few feet later your stopped, After the 1,000 miles I'll start using them a bit harder. But, right now I can tell it's going to be pick my spot where I want to stop and the that's where the jeep stops. Never have I had brakes that work like these. And never will I buy anything else from now on.

I purchased these rear pads to use on Wagner rotors. so far (month) the brakes have performed better then any I have EVER put on my car. I read a lot of reviews and people complained of brake dust. I have noticed nothing note worthy. The breaks work exceptionally fine in wet and dry conditions. I will always use EBC from now on from Auto Shepard. Note, The manufactured recommends that you use the same pads throughout on front and rear!It is May now. The brakes are just as good as the day I put them on. They made it just fine through a Maine winter and many April showers this year. These brakes produce no more dust then another brakes. These are some good brakes.

I was a bit weary at first when purchasing these pads online. Used in conjunction with the appropriate EBC slotted rotors my cars overall braking has dramatically improved. These pads have an exceptional bite on the rotors and well worth the money. Only time will tell, but for now it's nothing but EBC on my vehicles. UPDATE now April 2013. Brakes starting to pulse. Put alot of miles on these pads. Well worth the money. Still better than the OEM's the mits dealer would sell me.June 2013, time for new pads. Were used under normal driving conditions.

This pad was selected to replace the OEM pad on my 540I. As most of you know the BMW is notorious for dirty wheels due to brake dust from the OEM pads. I didn't know what exactly to expect from the ceramic pad offered by EBC. I have been pleastenly surprised. Literally no dust to speak of. I installed these on my 2005 M3. After the initial break in (a little more than 700 miles until they stopped squeaking) they are working wonderfully. There is far far less dust than the stock pad as well. Your rims will thank you.Keep in mind that you should not turn BMW rotors, and if there is any lip at all on the rotor it will take a little longer to break them in. If the rotors are under spec you should definitely replace them. This makes for a longer lasting brake anyway.

It took a while to receive these, but that was from anyone. My problem was when I went to install they were too thick. I had to remove the break in coating and also remove the shims, even then It was a fight to install these. I will most likely stick with hawk pads on my next purchase. Other than that, they do seem to perform well.

I bought these pads based on reviews that I read elsewhere, and evidently I'm the first to review them here. That said, these pads work fine. They're quiet and seem to stop the car (2007 Acura TSX) well enough. But...... they're also the dirtiest pads I think I've ever come across. Be prepared to live with black (ish) wheels or plan on washing them often (like at least once a week). And this is with new rotors too. I'd assume they'd be even worse on old rotors that hadn't been refinished. Ironically, the pads I installed on my 05 TSX are just the opposite. Wagner Thermo Quiet Ceramic pads are cheaper, also quiet, and probably the cleanest pads I've ever used. I'm actually going to replace the EBC pads on the 07 with the Wagner pads so I don't have to wash the wheels all the time.

I replaced the front and rear Honda OEM brake pads on my 2005 Element with these. I followed the recommended break in/bedding procedure to the best of my abilities and several hundred miles in these pads appear to have dramatically improved the response and stopping power of my brakes. Even without replacing the rotors I am very pleased with the improved stopping power the car now exhibits. I have yet to determine the brake dust production levels and life span but so far I'm pleased.

I ordered these pads because I used to use EBC pads in my motorcycle racing days. They always worked great so I figured these would be the same. I have no problems with the pads themselves but the description states it comes with hardware (retaining clip for the inner pad I had hoped) and the wear indicators. They do not come with anything except the pads/backing.

I love these new brake pads. It was odd to learn the red paint is a bit on the thick side. A light file to the paint made them fit much better, with less worry of hangups or dragging. Brake dust is more than I anticipated, but the new found stopping power is a welcome trade off. Don't forget to correctly match the part number to your vehicle.

2009 Mini Cooper non-turbo. Replaced pads, rotors, and sensors: everything went it fine. Put a set of OZ Ultraleggera's on at the same time, so not only did I get better brakes, but more rubber to stop with. Initial bedding was easy. Definite improvement in stopping power just by changing the pads! (2005 Tahoe) Noise/ squeal went away after 500 mile bed in procedure. Hopefully the heavy dust will subside after some more miles, chrome wheels don't like brake dust. Overall happy with pads, just ordered yellow stuff for my tow rig so I will be able to compare them.

I've had these pads installed on my 2003 Honda Accord(V6 Sedan) for about 500 miles and I must say that they produce a hell of a lot more dust than the stock pads. Great stopping power, a good increase from stock. My expectation was that the dust output would be comparable to stock. This is the only reason I am not giving these pads 5 stars.

I'm very happy with the pads themselves. They do not squeel at all and seem to offer a more responsive stop than the stock pads (on a '09 Challenger R/T). However, you HAVE to ensure that you read the instructions on the manufacturer break-in recommendations. Lots of floor it and hit the brakes which will eliminate the squeal after a few minutes. The pads are very dusty for the first 500 miles or so, but that also is mentioned in the manufacturer break-in documentation. Once you get past the first 500-1000 miles the dust is reduced to below stock pad output, squeaks go away, and you're good to go.

Being a person who goes up and down a lot of hills & needs to stop for stupid deer, I decided I should do a little more research & find a decent set of brakes instead of leaving it up to my mechanic. I am so glad I found these. They are made in Britain and are of exceptional quality. After I put them on my car, I couldn't believe how well they worked and how much better my stopping power has become. A friend of mine used my car and needed a fast stop to miss a deer and she was so impressed that she decided to get these for her truck. Which brings me to my only caveat: I drive a Toyota, she has a Ford and even though the supplier she purchased her set said they would fit her truck, they where just a tinch too tight to be able to slip the caliper back on. I think it must be a difference in Metric vs. Empirical construction. Ultimately she had to go with another manufacturer, so if you drive American, these may not work for you.

2004 Jeep Liberty. The fit is very precise. No wobbling, no shudder, no need to hammer the pads in. Not one problem of any kind during installation. Stopping power is OK; I cannot report that these stop the truck any faster than the OEM pads did. After 1500 miles there aren't any noises. There is some dust, but not much of it. For everyday driving the pads are fine and I don't really want to test how well they will perform under heavy stress. The price is right too; 75 dollars once in a blue moon is something I can live with.

After the original shipment was several days late, AutoPartsWAY sent me a replacement order and I just installed the pads on the front of my 2006 LJ Rubicon (and Centric Premium rotors). When I placed the order, I had no idea if AutoPartsWAY sold the pads per WHEEL or per AXLE. The price seemed very high if the selling unit was two pads for one wheel, but I ordered two units anyway thinking if I bought enough pads to do the rear axle also (**see edit note), that would be okay. So, how many pads do you get if you order two units? Answer: eight pads or obviously enough to do both axles (**see edit note). So the pads are sold per axle and not per wheel.**Edit note 3/19/2013 - these will ONLY fit the front axle**I'll post a follow up report on the pad's performance.Update: July 23, 2011The pads (and the Centric Premium rotors) are a great combination and I'll estimate I have maybe 20% better stopping power. After doing some research for my 2005 350Z, I found a great deal on AutoPartsWAY for EBC at the time so I went with EBC Red Stuff + EBC Sports Slotted Rotors (Both manufactured by EBC England). I was going to go with Hawk + Powerslot slotted rotors (Both made by Hawk or vice versa) originally. The EBC Redstuff brake pads have a break-in coating on it that is red. EBC recommends 500 miles of light braking to break them in properly. It took about 400 miles on my 350Z. You don't need to do the 30mph then stopping quickly like you do for Hawk+Powerslot combinations. After 4 weeks, the EBC brake pad + EBC Sports rotor combination are working great with practically no dust at all and great stopping power. These are the very best brake pads you can buy for your Jeep. This specific p/n fits the fronts of Jeep Wrangler Rubicons. And if you should scroll down and see a "Frequently Bought Together" deal with Centric Preminum Cryo Rotors (p/n 120.67045), jump on it. You can't do better especially if you wheel your Jeep Rubicon (off road) as I do. When changing pads I always replace the front and rear together. This is the second set of EBC Green pads I've installed on our 2007 Yukon. The pads work well but are not an improvement over the OEM pads that GM installs at the factory. For me the EBC pads are nothing more than a less expensive option to factory GM pads. On this particular vehicle the brake feel and stopping distance do not appear to be any better with EBC Green installed than stock pads.

Installed them on my truck with only one problem which I believe to have been caused by my new performance drilled and slotted rotor. Problem was that the shim had came loose and slid down on the pad rubbing the small alignment pins causing a aweful tick. I removed the shim beat it flat where the coners on the metal had been bent up and glued it back on. I cleaned the rotor up with some emory cloth and had it checked for runout but it checked good but I think there was a small burr pushing the pad causing it to move. Put these on my 03 Acura TL Type-s. The fitment was spot on just like factory equipment. Stopping power is great with no squeeling. They get even better when heated up.
