      Part is over priced and very fragile had to return first one was damaged upon arrival (on end that goes into erg valve).Does the job but not worth $50.00

      If your Service Engine Soon light is on continuously, and a scan shows OBD code 401 - EGR Flow Insufficient, the trouble may be caused by carbon buildup in the EGR tube. If the trouble can’t be traced to any of the easier-to-get-at parts (e.g., EGR valve, Throttle Body ports, etc.), and there IS carbon buildup in the EGR tube but you can’t adequately clean it out, then get a new tube.Dorman products are reliable and fairly priced --- even with the additional cost of 2-day shipping , this purchase was more than $9 under what the auto parts stores charge for the identical product. And, AutoPartsWAY got it to me in just 1 day.BTW, I rated this at 4-stars because it’s part of a car’s emission control system, which I can’t love. The product itself is excellent.

      Lets face it, parts from the auto stores are more than double online prices so if you have time to wait order online. I got the part in time and truth be told remans(remanufactures) aren't always trust worthy but Dorman does pretty well here. Part fit great with no problems and truck is running smooth.

      Perfect fit. Just put it back the way it came out . use never seize and gauge your torque when taking apart.

      This part fit my 2000 Ford XLT 4x4 Access cab 4.7L truck. Was able to remove the old tube connector from the manifold using PB Blaster, a pipe wrench with a 3' bar on the handle for leverage. It was very rusted and I was relieved to see it turn without breaking the manifold. I replaced the male/male nipple connector and the EGR tube with new. Fit was good. Easy to do. Saved hundreds by doing this myself.
