      I noticed our 2005 XJ8 VDP puffing white smoke at times on startup and under heavy acceleration. I had also been having to add half a quart of oil about every 2000 miles. I did some research and found out this part was possibly the culprit. Since our car has 120,000 miles on it and I have no record of this ever being replaced I decided for the price replacing it was worth a shot. Once I removed the old one to investigate I was pretty sure this was the cause because I could see where there was oil getting through the valve into the intake manifold. Since I replaced it the smoking is gone and I have not had to add oil to the car. The part is identical to the one I replaced and the price is right so it's 5 stars all the way.

      Original Jaguar packaging and easy to install....with a low enough price to change or replace more frequently. AutoPartsWAY's part finder was spot on for my make/model.
