Get some additional hose and a few hose clamps. This did not fit directly on my 5.4. Maybe it was bent in shipping. It still worked and fixed the problem. No leaks after several months of use. I used a clamp and hose where it connects to the water pump.

The hardest part of this job was taking the old rusted part off. The part was exactly as shown in the photo.

Price was right and worked just as good as an OE would. Difficult for a backyard mechanic because many parts need to be removed to make room. Intake, heat shield, wipers, etc

Everything was almost perfect. I had to bend the mounting tabs a little in order to get it to fit. Otherwise, it worked great and the price was right. 98 Ford Taurus SE.

The Dorman 626-300 Heater Hose Assy is a good quality replacement hose assy. The hose assy is difficult to install (no fault of the hose, just the way Chrysler designed it). I would recommend this hose for replacement.

Worked great. Better made than the original heater hose assemply I replaced. Difficult to install because of the tight design by Ford.

When this product arrived I was very excited as I had been without heat for a while and winter was quickly approaching. The part looked like a ringer, until I went to install it. On the drivers side where your factory (or recall/TSB recommended) bypass hose (Dayco 87780 here on AutoPartsWAY) connects is where this assembly connects. The reason is because it has a rubber bypass hose between the inlet and outlet pipes that run to the heater core making the factory bypass hose obsolete. I had a 2 year old bypass hose assembly from NAPPA as it was the first to leak so I was disappointed to have to customize my installation to remove the bypass setup installed from the factory by Ford on my '99. I believe prior model years were recalled or a service bulletin existed to install the same bypass hose.I also flushed the heater core by simply hooking up the garden hose to each of the heater core connections until the water ran clear to get the old fluid out of it. When I say hooked...
