These cured the looseness I could feel in the suspension when braking and going over speed bumps. These gave my BMW a much "tighter" feeling over all--best money I've spent on one of my vehicles in awhile !!If you follow some of the Beemer forums--products like these are labeled as cheap/inferior and as not lasting long--maybe so they've only been on the car a couple weeks, so time will tell. These are made in China--HOWEVER they appear to be very well made, are marked right and left and were a perfect/easy fit. If my opinion changes over time I'll update here.UPDATE* 3/8/14 A year later and still going strong !!---I'm VERY pleased.

I've had my 2004 BMW E46 325i since it was new. Just a few months ago, at about 75,000 miles, I noticed several symptoms. A knocking in the front right every time I stepped on the brake or took my foot off it, a slight stutter in the steering wheel at the same time, a soft bouncing sound from the suspension when I hit a bump, and a bit of lag when turning hard into a corner. After little online research I decided the front lower control arm bushings were likely at fault and I was willing to attempt the repair myself.I selected these Dorman bushings based on price and the name, and I'm glad I did. They look identical to the BMW factory originals, fit perfectly in place, returned the handling to the way it always was, and are nice and quiet.Technically the job is a very simple one, a small handful of screws and bolts is all you need to remove to gain access and pull the old ones off. However, physically it's another story when you are flat on your back in the...
