For those who need to crimp a few dozen spark plug wires, this is perfect. I don't have a bench vise, so I used a large C clamp. Did a great job of crimping a pair of wires for a custom motorcycle build, and looks like it will hold up for a few dozen crimps before being too beat up to work well.

I originally bought this product about 8 years ago. I assembled at least 10 sets of plug wires using this tool and it worked great everytime with no signs of wear. Last week I needed to build another set of wires and couldn't find my crimper so I had to buy a replacement. If you are building plug wires everyday or if you don't have a vice (this tool requires a vice to make the crimp) maybe you should invest in one of the more expensive ratcheting crimpers but if you do one or two sets a year like I do this tool is perfect.

The MSD Mini Crimper does what it says. I only had 4 wires to crimp and it took about 20 minutes to complete. If you are handeling ignition wires all day long or for a career, this is not the proper tool. It is made of plastic and I can not see it's usefull lifespan as more then 2 wire sets. You get what you pay for.
