    I purchased this as a part to make for a custom Air Intake for my 2006 Mazda MPV, so I am not able to review it based on the vehicle this is meant for, but it does appear to be an OEM part and is good quality. If this is the part you need for your MB, then I would say it will do the trick. For me, I have it attached to a Spectre Performance 8741 Black 3" Air Duct Hose. The fit is a bit snug, but still needed to use a Spectre 9503 3.5" T-Bolt Clamp to make sure it stayed on. I placed the air intake scoop behind the wheel well panel and zip tied the hose to keep it in place. As far as I can tell it is directing air into the engine compartment while in motion, so it's doing what an air intake scoop is supposed to be doing. There is nothing else I could find that would work for me, so based on that alone...5 stars!
