The deep pan design increases fluid capacity by 4-quarts over the stock O.E. steel pan. All these features combined help dissipate heat quicker netting lower transmission and fluid temperatures prolonging the life of your transmission, transmission fluid and corresponding components. Other features for this popular pan include a filter, filter extension, gasket and drain port with magnetic drain plug for clean and easy servicing. Also includes a 1/8-inch NPT temperature sensor port for easily adding a temp gauge for monitoring transmission temperatures while daily driving, towing or racing. Includes detailed instructions with all necessary hardware for an easy at home installation.   • B&M Racings GM 4L80E Street/Strip transmission is a complete ready to run unit (less converter) for high performance Street/Strip use for GM model years 1993 to 1996. The Street/Strip 4L80E transmission is packed with performance features such as providing firm shifts, a high energy intermediate band, new overdrive sprag assembly, new low roller assembly and all new performance friction materials. Other features include all new steel forward hub, solenoids, wiring harness, re-calibrated forward pattern automatic valve body and performance pump assembly. This transmission is built to handle up to 800 HP/650 lb-ft of torque. Notes: For transplant applications, this transmission requires an electronic controller such as B&M ShiftPlus2 transmission controller #120001. Carbureted applications will require a throttle position sensor (TPS) #120002. To prevent contamination of worn parts circulating through your new B&M transmission, we strongly suggest replacing or adding a new B&M SuperCooler transmission cooler.

  • The B&M Shift Improver kits feature two options to recalibrating your 1982-1993 GM TH700R4/4L60 automatic transmissions. First is the HEAVY DUTY set-up, giving you firm positive shifts without loss of driver comfort for improved performance in all street vehicles. This is a great option for performance street driving or towing. The second is our STREET/STRIP set-up. Be warned, this will deliver firm positive shifts you will feel, along with easily chirping the tires when shifting somewhat aggressively. This setting is recommend for high performance street/strip use, or for competitive events when you want the hardest, quickest shifts possible from a shift improver kit. Note: Does not fit GM TH4L60 (non-electronic) transmissions.
