Constructed of heavy-gauge stainless steel, Banks Monster features a supersized, 2.5 inch tailpipe with a stainless tailpipe tip polished to a mirror finish. Banks Monster muffler, its straight-through performance muffler, is the industrys least restrictive. In comparison tests, Banks muffler flowed 501.2 cfm at 1 psi - a 140 percent improvement over the stock exhausts 208.6 cfm, and about 44 percent better than the nearest competitor. It actively and safely optimizes calibrations in real-time thanks to its OBD-II connectivity. No competitive tuner does that. Derringer has 6 levels, adjustable on-the-fly using the iDash. Level 6 produces best-in-class performance. Level 3 is designed for work use and has a great mid-range feel. When running Level 3 with a loaded truck and/or pulling a trailer, your on-ramp merging speeds and passing times are greatly improved. The electronics are enclosed in a compact housing which is easily concealed and communicates with other Banks devices such as our iDash DataMonster, iDash SuperGauge, and PedalMonster throttle booster. The Derringer connects in line with your trucks engine sensors. But unlike other tuners, it also connects to the vehicles OBD-II diagnostic bus. ActiveSafety health monitoring circuitry keeps an eye on the vehicle and the module itself. It checks its health 100 times a second. If it detects an issue, the Derringer instantly bypasses itself, sets a device diagnostic code, and seamlessly returns the truck to stock power. Plus, Derringers special coolant temp monitoring prevents power addition when the engine is too cold or overheated. The Derringer also auto-adjusts power if knock occurs due to bad fuel.   • The 4-inch intermediate pipe and tailpipes are formed of stainless heavy-wall tubing with mandrel bends to maximize airflow, minimize backpressure and lower exhaust exit temperatures. The system safely clears the spare tire, shocks and brake lines. Monster singles include a 5 inch round tip (with your choice of high temp Black or chrome-over stainless). Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe. (And to help keep the tips looking good, theres a 1/2 inch air gap to keep heat from tarnishing the finish). Banks Monster Exhaust for the 6.7L is available in the following configurations (not all configurations are available for all year ranges).

Banks boost tubes are larger than the factory pipe and designed to work with the stock elbow or new Banks Monster-Ram (3.5 inch or 4 inch) which will improve airflow, and allow the turbocharger to spool up faster. Banks hot and cold side tubes have up to 103 percent greater flow area than stock tubes. Produced from high-quality aluminized steel, the tubes are mandrel bent and constant diameter. This allows for quicker turbo spool. Better flowing intercooler tubes improve retention of boost pressure (increases density) between turbo, intercooler, and intake resulting in maximum horsepower. Our red powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tubes for better grip ensuring our 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty high-temperature silicone couplers hold tight under high-boost conditions. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps maintain a stronger grip to prevent leaks or blown boots.
