The line is an exact fit . The only reason for the 3 stars is the plastic rings were applied bacwards so I had to pull the line of again and turn the lock rings around.

My line showed up today and if anything it was over wrapped but in good condition. The part fits fine except the original line had a swivel pipe fitting at the transmission and the Dorman part has a JIC flared fitting so now I have to find an adapter to make the connection. This adapter should come with the tube or at least it should be noted so a guy can order both at the same time. That is why I only gave it a three.

The purple hippo loves that the transmission line allows fluid to pass through it without leaking. Much like a bowl stent.

Perfect fit.. however, the quick disconnects on my 01 Jeep XJ are not so quick anymore.. be sure to purchase the Trans line connectors for the return and sending lines

Ok, my fault eh.. more like my mechanic's fault.1. Quick disconnect my ......2. Have extra Transmission line connectors.3. WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE!! 3a. NOTHING to do with the product, shipper or anything. 3b. I should have checked the drain plug for the tranny and transfer case before buying.. my mechanic whom I have been going to for YEARS ... sub story... I had the dealership change my transm fluid and transfer case fluid.. I got it home and it was leaking.. I took it back and was like what the heck (other words) and they put it on the lift.. oh, its your trans lines.. you need new.. I was ok, how much.. oh.. 450 bucks.. I am uhh.. no, i can do it.. now, chicago was VERY cold so last weekend was the first time I was able to find time to get under my Cherokee XJ to try and start (my brother-in-law is aces with cars.. so .. i was helping him lol). We disconnected everything in front easily (did the radiator few months ago) and started to look...

I bought this for a GM that has rusted out cooler lines. I usually like Dorman products, but this one, not so much. Construction was good, but oh boy it was a pain to get it. The bends didn't match the OEM part, so there was a lot of struggling to get the mounts fastened. Other than that, it works.Dorman, if you're listening, please review this mold with the OEM part, and adjust yours, because I really want to like it.

Everything fit how it was supposed to. Nice product. Only thing I would say bad about it is the round plastic clips that clip over the e-clips could be a little less brittle. But it still does the job it was intended to do.

Appears to be a direct replacement for my 97 Jeep Cherokee Sport. OEM quality. Haven't yet used this (installing a new engine), but I don't foresee any problems when I do.

I ordered four pieces to replace lines, 3 of the 4 were perfect fits. Returned the piece that would not connect(crimp on hose was wrong, would not allow tube to seat in place) Waiting on replacement, Hope it fits.

The part that pushes into the existing cooler line to the radiator is cheaply made. Once I connected it all, it leaked real bad. Luckily I was able to salvage some parts from my old one to make this one work properly. After comparing the inside parts to each other, you can differently tell the difference between the two in the o-rings and snap connector.

Perfect fit and exact replacement for 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0L. Taking off the original lines are a pain but the new ones have metal quick disconnects instead of plastic.

This line fit perfectly on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee. The most difficult part is removing the quick disconnect near the radiator. Use a 3/8" quick disconnect tool and be patient since space is tight. Be prepared to drop it a few times and have to fish is out from behind the fender splash panel.I cut the rubber hose part of the line and drained as much trans fluid as possible. My guess is about a half pint comes out. Make a note of how the line runs parallel to the other trans line. This line runs 'above' the second line. The connection at the trans is also a quick disconnect but no tool is needed for removal. There are two 'tabs' sticking out on either side of the line. Wiggle the line and then blow out the dust before squeezing the tabs together and slowly wiggle the line out. I purchased a new quick disconnect from AutoPartsWAY (Dorman 800-714) in case I needed to replace any broken parts during removal and also to see how the line is connected to it. When you...

I bought this to replace the leaking lines on the Dodge. These are wayyyyyy cheaper than the dealer lines and the quality is the same. TIP: use the application chart on Dorman's website to see if this fits your rig because the one on AutoPartsWAY's website is usually inaccurate.

Installed these transmission lines this weekend and they were oem identical to my old leaking lines. I'm shopping AutoPartsWAY more often now for auto parts after these fit so well. I was shopping for one trans line that I had identified when the search engine found this package at AutoPartsWAY, I thought package, what the heck at least you are dealing with AutoPartsWAY and they were great.
