Bought one of these for my new Prius as I had one previously. PROS: great for cars like the Prius that standard sun shades do not fit. I like that it is fitted precisely to the windshield without leaving gaps. It is also fairly thick and thus blocks out the heat well. CONS: It is very rigid and difficult to remove and fold up (like an accordian) from the windshield.I ordered this and then found another style online. I must say that although this product insulates better, I found the other product much easier to us as it is flexible and allows me to roll it up. Consequently, I haven't really used this one as much as I should for the price.

Fits perfectly in our 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L front windshield. No problems unrolling it and putting it in place easily. Before storing it for the first time using the velcro closure, you have to roll it up yourself and then stick the velcro where you'd like it, so then you have to roll it up similarly each time afterwards. A little bulky to store, but you have to expect that if you're buying a more substantial shade like this as opposed to the thin ones that fold up into a ring. My only real complaint is that I wish the cutout around the rearview mirror came in closer to the mirror itself.

I was in a car accident and after getting my car back, my sun shield was missing. Being an individual who becomes a bit obsessive went on a search and than you AutoPartsWAY prime, I came across this one. I was weary because of the price but to me, it is well worth it. More substantive than those kind that roll and, in fact, have not seen something as substantive as this. I live here in the desert southwest, triple digits. It folds nicely, not bulky roll, no velcro to stick on your seats while you are trying to store in your car. Easy fold - great fit - I can see some protected summers ahead. So far, I like ten times better. My sisters are ordering for their vehicles. I will update you at the end of the summer.

I bought this for my Ram 1500. Didn't like this sunshade at first, it was too rigid and stiff. But after a few uses I took a liking to it. I can install this sunshade in a matter of 10 seconds, which means for us Americans that (unfortunately) have little to no patience, it doesn't steal too much of our day. It fits pretty snugly around the entirety of the window except for around the mirror which doesn't really do anything. You do have to put down your visors to hold it in place.Also, I have no idea why Covercraft doesn't just have a plain silver/aluminum color. I had to buy a blue one.

I bought my shield as "used" so i got a great price for it. However, the shield does not fit exactly inside the windshield area and thus I have to fold it on the passenger side.

Almost perfect fit. It leaves some small gaps where the sun can shine through mainly where the rear view mirror is and in the edges but looks a lot better than any of those one size fits all. I can see that the temperature in the truck is cooler when I put it on than when I don't, I would say anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees less. Overall it's a very good product but it would be better if the fit was exact and it didn't leave any gaps whatsoever.

Expensive but Prius has difficult windshield to cover, and rigid material with four inch folds makes putting up and taking down easier than the softer ones that may fit fully against windshield. Coupled with window visors above doors so that one can leave windows cracked, visor helps car stays cool as possible in hot sun.

The best. I've used several types over the years, from inexpensive ones to the Covercraft, which is not cheap. However, the cheap ones fall apart, do not fit well, and generally do not stay in place. This now my third Covercraft and they seem to average 7 years with constant daily use. Perfect fit and does a fantastic job. Yes, I'll purchase another one in 7 years time without hesitation.

I'm giving this four stars for one reason:1) They send you the product in a box with no method of storage. The actual heat shield is very thick (good for blocking / insulating against heat).. but it's slightly annoying to try and store. They could have at least sewn on a velcro strap to keep it closed / stored.With that said, this product fits very snugly in my windshield and does a damn good job of keeping the AZ heat from going right through my windshield. I would recommend to someone else if they asked for a heat shield.

Ordered this for a 2005 Mini Cooper. Fit is great! Very little gap at the top but most of that is covered by the shades holding it in place. I know this is really working as I have to be careful not to burn my hands when taking it out of the window! I hope that this adds years to my dashboard.

The shade is a perfect match for my vehicle. It is nice and stiff and keeps its form. This is a very high quality shade. The material is insulating, so not only does it reflect the light back out but it also insulates against the temperatures between the reflecting surface and the windshield. Since it is large and solid, it can be a bit cumbersome to fold/unfold and move around the inside of your vehicle. If you have a large windshield and a small vehicle, I could see that being a problem.One more thing. Apparently they sell a cloth cover bag for this, but that didn't show up as a recommended buy when I purchased this.

It fits nice and looks good installed also seems to be well made. It is way easier to put up and take down then the acordian style. I cant say it does any better job reflecting the heat though. It makes the car have a funny smell after its been up for some hours. Im thinking that will disapate after its broken in?

This sun shade is amazing! I bought if for our 2015 Ram that has the auto headlight box attached to the rear view mirror. This shade fit like a custom made suit. The key to putting it up is to slide the bottom all the way in where the dash meets the windshield, then lift it up and secure with visors. It is not flimsy in any way. In my opinion, you could use this as shade as defensive tool in its storage configuration by smacking would be attackers upside the head (dependent on your skill, of course!).

Fits the windshield well. Is enough shorter than the window that it does not provide "full" coverage but works well over all. Can be difficult for a smaller individual to get fully in place because you need to be able to reach both ends to get well placed.

This sun shade is always the first thing I buy for any new car. This particular sun shade will outlast anything you drive. I sold my last car after 7 years and the Covercraft UVS100 sun shade I'd been using since day 1 still looked like new. I sold it to a friend for $40 bucks, so you can't complain about that.This one fits perfect and is even better feeling quality than the last one I bought 5 years ago for my van. I don't know what they could have improved, but they did it. It is awesome looking and fills my windshield perfectly on my '09 Rav4. Buy this product!

Good. perfect fit for the windshield, but rolled up it takes up a lot of space, and really doesn't fit anywhere in the car other than the trunk. If I had realized it was so large rolled up, I might not have gotten it.

If you have an f-250/350 or excursion, this is the BEST! Fit and finish are great, and keeps the car way cooler. In scottsdale, in the summers with my black F-350, it is nuclear hot in there, and this cuts it down by probably 25 degrees or more. Has added benefit of keeping dash out of the sun so 14 years and no cracks!Buy it, you won't be sorry!

This has to be the best window shade made its very sturdy and seems like it will last me forever. I have a 2006 Mazda3 and it almost covers the whole window,there has to be a little space or you wont be able to put it up .The soft ones always tear after a month or two dumping there contents all over the car like dust and also with heat they tend to sag no way that can happen with this one.The only drawback would be that it is not as easy to store when not in use because it is so stiff but that is to be expected when making it this strong.

I was looking for a good windshield sunshade for my Volvo XC60 and I decided to try Covercraft's UVS100 custom fit sunshade. I still cannot say much about its effectiveness, but is fits very nicely! It also looks as a very good quality product. Only downside is the fact that it is rather bulky, folding into big sections which makes it a bit difficult to put it in place. It is definitely the best sunshade I have came across.

My car has a black interior. I live in the south and wanted a sun shade to protect the dash and keep the car cool. I bought a silver folding regular sun shade at a garage sale to test my diligence before investing in one of these. I used it every time for 6 months, even though it was cheap and fell down a lot. It did the job about 80%, but was a pain to put up.I asked for one of these for birthday and my wish came true. I have to say that this shade is awesome! It fits absolutely perfectly and stays up, even without the visors. It fits like a glove. It met every expectation I had. That being said, it is expensive so this isn't a deal- its a case of getting what you pay for. It is super sturdy. If you are trying to decide between brands, I can tell you this one does not disappoint.

I like it a lot and really keeps the car cooler in the summer. Worked on my 2007 ford expedition. Only down side is it is heavy and a little hard for my wife to put up and down. There is no flex to fold it in half for easy stoarge either. But coming to a car that is much much cooler then the old 5.00 walmart set, it is worth the extra work.

After researching various Shades on AutoPartsWAY, i decided to buy the Covercraft. Its a solid shade and fits very well except for a very small expose area which is next to rear view mirror. Not sure if any sunshade can provide 100% coverage as it will be impossible to install. This is good for sun protection in sunny Arizona so it should work just about anywhere else. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

The sunshade fits my car perfect! (2010 Toyota Corolla S) There are only to things that I don't like about this sunshade:1) It does take up a lot of space. While it does offer great UV protection, you are going to be giving up space, either in your passengers seat or in your backseat. With that being said, it does keep my car much cooler in the TX weather.2) The sunshade seams to leave a thin film on the inside of my windshield. Every sunshade I have ever had has had this problem, however with the covercraft, I have to clean my window every other day or so.The film really isn't a big deal, all it takes is wiping down the inside with a dry microfiber towel, and then you're good to go.In the end, I would recommend this sunshade if you don't mind the space it will take up, and if you want to keep your dash looking new!

"Covercraft's heat shields are custom patterned, insulated and follow the outline of the windshield." - almost. Compared to generic sunshades, the Covercraft UVS100 fits a lot better - it goes edge to edge and has the correct height for my Nissan Frontier, except there are some large uncovered spaces at the corners of the windshield and around the mirror. Minor fitment issues aside, it does the job and helps reflect a lot of heat away from the interior. It's sturdier and made much better than the generics.

This sun shade does fit my car perfectly, but I notice absolutely no difference in heat reduction between this shade and the foil type ones you can purchase at your local department stores. In fact, because it's very stiff, it's a pain to put in and when you remove it and toss it in the back seat for storage, it takes up a lot of room, again because it's so stiff. I would not purchase this again and will return to the foil types in the future.

I've had the flimsy accordion-style visors and the round two-piece models. This one beats them all! Fitment is about as precise as you can get and the construction is very high quality.These are essentially the ones dealers offer with specific models minus the manufacturer logo and about half the cost.

This is a high quality shade like no other you've ever used. For starters, the shade is uniquely customized for you vehicle. The fit on my GMC Terrain is perfect! The "Made In The USA" sandwiched construction materials reflect the scalding rays of the sun, and do not allow any absorbed heat to transfer into the vehicle. The effect is dramatic. If the shade is deployed correctly, the dash of your vehicle should never get any hotter than the ambient inside temperature. Radiated heat from the exterior surfaces of the vehicle, and through other windows is typically the cause of that.I've tried a number of the shades that show up at stores in the summer. For a 2015 Aurion, the Camry one will fit (ever so slightly narrow), but the Avalon one won't fit (definitely too wide).The height is perfect. The width is slightly less than I would like. An extra half inch on both sides would have been nice, but it is my understanding that they do this on purpose to avoid liability for possible scuff damage.The shade is heavy duty and at least twice as thick as the usual cheapo shades I used previously, and at least 4 or 5 times the heft. The soft lining on the bottom reduces the chances of scuffs. I've used one for 2 months and haven't noticed any marks or scuffs on the interior of the car.Aesthetically, the gold shade works well with the various golds and browns in the Toyota line-up. Fits perfectly, is insulated to help keep heat out, well finished product. Sort of difficult to find a spot in my vehicles to put it (when not in use) that's out of the way due to its folded size, but I've bought one for each of my 3 cars. Store it in the bag or folded with the suede-ish side out and it'll last a LONG time. Had one for 3+ years and it still looks new.

Perfect fit. The only thing that would make it better and thus deserve 5-stars would be if it came with a cover. It can be damaged easily and so at this price point I think a cover would be in order. It does work incredibly well and is easy to get in and out of place.

Living in Phoenix means the inside of your car is baking hot. I have owned a variety of sunshades from cardboard with pictures of glasses (to make your car look cute?) to silvery reflectors that melted the plastic clock on my wife's Honda. This sunshade is made to fit the windows of our cars and provides a layer of insulation in addition to blocking the sun from the dashboard, steering wheel, and seats. We use them year 'round.

This works about as I expected. It seems to have shrunk a bit in the heat, and the velcro closure has started to peel off (probably also due to the heat), but it is very nice to be able to get in my car at the end of the day without spontaneously combusting.

This is the second one of these I've purchased (two different cars). SO much better than the kind you get at Walmart or the parts store. It's firm, so it doesn't lose it's shape. It lays flat up against the windshield so there's little greenhouse effect. It's thick enough that there's some isolation. You can certainly feel how warm it gets when you take it down on a hot day. Fit was great on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and the 2012 Lexus ES350. The larger, Lexus version was a bit heavier and bulky. But you get used to it. REALLY helps a lot!

I really hoped this would be the perfect shade for my 2010 VW Jetta but it doesn't quite fit the bill. There are a few gaps in the board when put up in the windshield, and I don't feel like the cardboard really helps to deflect the heat. It seems to absorb some of it, but my car is still somewhat hot when I get in at the end of the day. Not sure if a different material would be more effective.Not a bad purchase and I'll stick with it, but just wish it was a little more effective at keeping the heat out.

Fits my 2012 Infiniti M37 perfect and works great to keep the car from heating up. On hot days, I always keep the sunroof cracked open a bit to let heat escape anyways, but this sunshade certainly does it's job well.Pros:High quality, folds up nicely, is custom made for my car's windshieldCons:The shield bag (ZUBAG38) isn't included with the sunshade and should be, It's cheap and nothing special. It costs an extra $3.99 + $8.50 shipping and in my opinion isn't worth it. The only purpose for the shield bag is to store the sunshade in during winter months if you live in climates that have a cold season. That's it.

I have to park in the sun everyday at work; and while I LOVE my Ford Edge, if you own one, you know the AC, well....is totally weak and kinda su*ks!!! Sometimes on really hot days, it would take my entire 30 minute commute home before it really started to kick in. Usually my car would finally start to cool off right about when I was pulling into my driveway!The product claims to insulate you car and keep it about 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature--and I have found that to be absolutely true. Now when I get into my car and start it--my AC starts blowing cold air in about 2 minutes and I actually get to drive home in a cool car as opposed to a sweat box.I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I love the way this shade fits my window. It is very easy to install and is more substantial than the ones I see in the store. It definitely does what it is designed to do which is keep a lot of the heat out. No burning of the legs when you get in the car which is what happens when it is hot and you don't have a shade in the window.

Pros: Sturdy, does its job. Fits almost exactly with my Honda Civic 2005 EX coupe. The material feels thick and durable. Folds up very easily--just don't smack yourself in the face in the process. =]Cons: Could fit more exactly (eg. small gap of about an inch or two around the edge), relatively heavy when in place (eg. my sun visors struggle a bit holding up the shield). Would be better if some kind of hook/fastener/strap would keep it in place, maybe using the rear view mirror. A couple of times, it felt like I could accidentally fold it where there wasn't a crease--might've ended up permanently damaging it, but haven't done so (yet?).Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Would recommend to others. Just make sure you get one that fits your car as closely as possible. =]

It's been difficult finding a shade that fits my Prius' enormous windshield, but this one comes close. It doesn't totally cover the whole windshield, and sunlight comes in through the rearview mirror opening and a little bit on the sides. It's also kinda awkward to fold and store because it's so big. But overall I'm happy with it.

I had originally thought this item would be thicker and heavier, but it's just right. It fits very well against the windshield, and has made an enormous difference in the inside temperature of my Subaru Legacy this Summer. The reflective side gets very hot, but keeps the heat out, and the fabric side is easy to handle and never hot. I have not found the perfect place to store this shade when not in use, but it's worth the extra effort to keep it handy.

It covers the windshield well even though there are gaps on the side and around the rear view mirror. I think that the fitment around the rear view mirror could be designed better to enclose that area to prevent light from passing through. I think Covercraft should add a flexible dark fabric to go around the edges to solve the problem with the 1 inch gap. If it did, I would say 5 stars.This blocks all light making your steering wheel, seats, and shifter from being too hot to touch during very hot days. Tinting windows goes very well with this product.

The windshield cover was well made and fit my car perfectly. The only ding I gave it is the adhesive on the tiny piece of velcro that holds screen rolled up softens in the sun then it comes off the screen causing to unroll in the car. They should either have stitched it in or used a velcro loop similar to what I have on another shade that I have from another manufacturer.

I bought this for my 2007 Silverado 1500. The fit is OK. They cut a generous notch for the mirror which is OK on my truck because the mirror sits high on the windshield. The fit into the lower corners of the windshield is good. It sags quite a bit in the middle below the mirror. It will be interesting to see how much more it sags after being in the sun all day. It has a little Velcro tag that is supposed to hold it together when it is rolled up. Out of the box that part works OK but I can't see that tag lasting with any kind of regular use. I think that, for the money, they could have sewn a couple of elastic band holders on the edges like even the really cheap ones from Wal Mart have. The only reason I bought this one was I couldn't find one large enough to fit my truck where I live. It is good enough to keep but I am only marginally satisfied.

I purchased this after the similar hard sectioned Covercraft sunshade did not fit my LeSabre. This one does, and since it's also cheaper it's a no-brainer! It is a bit tricky to get in place without smacking any passenger in the head given its bulk, but that's more down to the size of the windshield than the design of the sunshade.

It is made of very high quality materials. Once in place, it blocks all of the light coming in through the front windshield. The only problem I have with it is that putting it into place in a 2014 Toyota Highlander is a bit difficult, given how hard and unyielding the panels are. What gives it its sturdy shape also makes it harder to install. Harder, but not frustratingly impossible. It just takes longer than the usual sun shield takes to lay in there or take down. But that snug fit and those thick, sturdy panels definitely keep the heat out, which is why it's still an easy 4 star product.

Fits perfectly in my '08 FJ cruiser. Due to the FJ's short windshield, it folds up quite compactly and fits easily between the seats.Very high covercraft quality as expected, I've used the UVS100 on my last two cars and never had an issue. Soft, flexible covers can rip or tear from normal use. Due to the rigid construction and intentional fold sections there is very little wear and tear, even after many years.Tip: In the winter you can turn it shiny-side-facing-in and help keep the warmth inside your car.

This is a good looking, solidly-built sunshade. It's quite a bit bulkier than my previous sunshades, which were the pop-up type. The Covercraft doesn't stow away as easily as my previous shades, but it does keep the car cooler. It doesn't fit between the seat and console nor the door pocket, so I just store it behind the passenger seat in its optional bag. The opening for the rear view mirror seems a bit large. My previous sunshade was flexible enough to cover up that area nicely. All in all, I still like the Covercraft shade.

These are so much better than the soft foam ones as long as you can live with 3-4 seconds longer to fold up. The foam ones fall in and do not lay flat. These will be much hotter on the window side and cooler on the car side as they reflect the heat away. Have used for years now in three cars in Arizona where we commonly get to 110.

Very well made but very stiff and if you have a passenger it is really hard to open sitting in the drivers seat. I have a dash mat so it didn't fit as well as I would have liked but it works, just tight. My only complaint is the rose metal side gets so hot you can actually burn your hand taking the darn thing down. Of course we live in Arizona so the sun can get really hot here. Even with my complaints I would still recommend it. Pricey, but it won't need replacement in the near future and you won't come out and find it folded in half off your windshield. I have a 2012 Kia Optima.

Thick, insulates well, folds up nicely (though a velcro tab would be nice). My design recommendation is to add velcro to the sides to allow a strap to tightly close and secure the shield, and also provide finger protection when taking the shade down (it gets VERY hot). So you can DIY that for about $3 and make a rerally awesome shade.BUT this thing is quality, and keeps our Highlander very cool. Fits the 2013 perfectly (even slides in front of the radar detector cleanly)

I love my covercraft on my 08 Nissan Altima coupe it fits the window so perfect. I live in TX and the heat is unbearable getting inside your car, so this helps reduce the heat inside the car drastically. I see a lot of people with those generic sunshades that don't fit their cars windshield and don't serve a purpose of protecting the car from the sun heating the inside of the car. This is a perfect fit and I know it's pricey but it will pay in the long run having a sturdy well made sunshade fitting perfectly on your windshield.

I like this shield. It fits well and has rigid cardboard for each section. Higher quality than many others I have owned with a reflective material on one side and felt padding on the other. purchased this for my BMW 2010 335i. It does the job but the fit is not so great.. It does not cover quite a bit of the window. the area below the mirror has a cutout that leaves about a foot open that does not cover the window and a gap at the top. Although the directions state that some of the visors do not cover the entire window , I think this should fit a bit better for the money. I will keep it though because it really does help keep the car cooler with black interior in the South Carolina summer heat.

These are worth every penny! The custom fit can't be beat and their thickness really does keep the temp in the car a lot lower and protect the interior. I've used mine in the South Texas sun for 4 years before needing to replace it when it wore out at the fold. We have them for all our cars.

I purchased the model to fit my 2014 Ford F-150 Platnium truck. I went to Covercraft's site to verify the correct model. The model I received was correct and well packaged. The materials used to make the sunshade are very good as is the finish/workmanship. However, it is very bulky being nearly 2 inches thick when folded up. Even with all the space in a full size truck crew cab, it's constantly getting in the way. It will fit under the rear seat,but then it's a hassle getting to. In addition, it does NOT provide an edge-to-edge sun/light seal around the front window leaving a one inch gap no matter how you try to position it. It is fairly easy to install and remove/fold up. If you're looking for something light weight, not bulky and can store in the pocket on the rear of the passenger seat, l would say to look at other products.

I like the custom fit for the Lexus CT200h windshield. I don't mind the gap for the mirror OR that tiny sunlight spots come through the stitches. I expect the amount of heat from these open spots to be minimal. It is a stiff product though it does not seem to be made of anything extraordinary. Well constructed, true, but the materials seem like stuff you could buy at Hobby Lobby. That said, I could not make one myself so I don't mind having paid almost $50 bucks for a well fitting sun shade especially when I compare to others from Autozone or Target. Again, the fit makes it seem worth it to me. If the thread stitching holds up I would/will give it a five.

Bought one of these heat shields 13 years ago for my 1994 Vette. Still works good. To keep the sun out shield should fit tight against the windshield. Both of mine do. The new one really looks good with color of my QX4. Came fast.

Fits great. I use it every day here in South Florida. The "folds/hinges" seem a little weak on inspection, however I have used it everyday since I bought it last month and I love how well it fits the windshield. It is also very easy to put up and take down. Takes about 10 seconds.I will try to remember to update the review if one of the hinges should break, but so far so good.

This is a quality shade...as it should be for the price. It is thick and works very well. The fit is great...but not perfect. You will still have to put your sun visor down to hold the shade in place. The hole cut for mirror is larger than needed and the shade doesn't quite cover every inch of the windshield. However, it's much better than the cheap silver shades that don't fit at all. Overall, happy with the purchase and ordered one for my wife's vehicle too. Be prepared for it to take up to two weeks to receive....both of ours did.

Covercraft Heat Shields. Ordered for my F-250 and fit is great. When going to order it has something about 83.1 and 93. something I did not understand, so I took a chance and ordered the 93. something and it fit perfect. Look of good quality. Bought one of these for my wife's car, I liked it so well that I turned around and ordered another for mine. These are thicker than any heat shield I've had in the past, due to the fact that they are insulated as well as reflective. The fact that they are also designed for specific vehicles and fit well is also a big plus in my book.

I am very glad that I bought this. It fits perfectly. I live in Florida and as I walk past the cheap $5 shades wrinkling on windshields or crumpled on passenger seats I am reminded of the shades that I have had in the past and I am glad that I spend the extra money. It is so easy to put this in place, it looks sharp and it keeps the interior of the car cool. You have to be a little careful with the board: it is stiff and will support itself on the windshield but you need to support it when you move it around (I "cracked" the board by holding it wrong. It does not affect the performance). I look forward to years of service from this shade.

I had bought generic Honda sunshades which were hard to fit into place and often just slipped down. These shades are PERFECT for the Honda Fit. They're sturdy and well-made. They slip just perfectly up onto the dash then get held in place by flipping the sun visors down. They're thick and do a fine job of keeping the car cool. Plus the metallic blue variety look great in my car. I couldn't be more satisfied with the purchase.

If you own a Ridgeline and need a well-designed, fits-almost-like-a-glove sun shield, look no further. Years ago I was fortunate enough to buy a brand new Accord and saw that the dealership also sold custom-fit sun shields, so I bought one. That one worked great, fit well, served me very well. When I bought this Ridgeline, I bought the "custom-fit" shield as well...but it never quite fit. There was always a large gap, it would curl under at all the corners; I'd estimate it missed ten percent of the windshield surface area. And it never seemed to want to stay in place.This Covercraft fits like a glove by comparison. It even looks good walking up to the truck, not like chintzy aluminum foil or Dollar-Mart one-size-fits-all screen. And though I have not used a thermometer to quantify this, my truck has seems cooler with this shield. Let's face it, in addition to the windshield, the Ridgeline has seven other panes of glass on it (if you count the rear glass as three...

Not as close of a fit as I had expected but good overall. Adhevise backing on the Velcro doesnt hold up well in the sun - it lets go. Use a rubber band instead.

Good workmanship. It fits well for my MB E350 sedan. I left my car in the sun where the temperature hits 95degrees. This sunshade helps reject excess heat. Even though it is still hot as I get onto the car, but relatively much better without the sunshade. Worth the money I spent.

it fits well enough but it is not compact when folded up. the main downside is it becomes hot from the sun so it is not easy to fold up due to the heat. it is a quality product but the design and materials might be lacking some considerations. I wish they made a wired folding frame shade with material that do not retain so much heat.

I bought this for my new BMW 228i. Although this is marketed for the F30 3 series, I believe it fits better in the 228. I tried it in a 2013 328, and it was just too small.Great for my 228 though!

The durability of the folds and materials remains a question but aside from that possible issue this appears to be an excellent product. I find the rigid, accordion-fold design much easier to deal with than the roll-up window shields. The Covercraft covers about 95% of the front window area and seems to do an excellent job of reflecting and insulating.

I have had these for years. I recently gave my wife mine for her new car, it fit hers well, after my using it for ten years. It was still in good shape. I purchased a new one for my GMC Terrain Denali that fit perfectly on arrival. It set in place easily, and stays there! Gr8 protection for the dash and all that "supercalifractious" electronics in the Dash. Wouldn't want my talking radio/GPS/driving-assistant "lady in the box" to get too hot.Looks cool and tailored to fit.

One of the best sunshades out there! It takes a little getting used to for installing and removing but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy.Just watch out when removing it after it's been in the sun for a while since the front surface (sun side) gets really hot to the touch. Just shows how well it works since the back stays nice and cool.

This is a decent for for my 2006 Ford F350. It could be about an inch taller and it would sit in the window perfectly. As it is, I need to sit it in the defrost vents and then it is tall enough to sit supported by the sun visors. Good at keeping the heat out, as it is made with several layers of material, and is reflective.

The fit of the windshield sunshade is exactly what I was looking for and fits well on my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. It does a good job and the materials seem like a good quality for what it is. My only complaint is the fastener. This product comes with no build in fastener, instead they send a stick velcro tab you have to install yourself and mine never stayed in place and I can now no longer roll the thing up and have it stay in place. I wish the velcro would have already been attached or some other fastener used.

Since my van (Toyota Previa) has such a massive windshield, none of the garbage one-size fits most sun shades worked for my car. Not to mention, many just felt cheap as hell and were so thin it felt as if most of the heat was still radiating in.I decided to go with a Covercraft because I like folding/accordion style sunshades for ease of stowage and clean, good looks. This custom shade for my Previa came as two pieces, which was a slight surprise but no biggie. When installed the coverage is the best I have seen for any shade. I would say 98% of the windscreen is shielded from light entering the cabin. The middle sections overlap a bit so no worries about a gap occurring in the center.I'm lovin' it!

I got the covercraft heatshield and I'm happy to say that it works great. It's quite large and they haven't made a built in strap to keep it secured when folded but that's okay. It's very sturdy and blocks a lot of the sunlight except he top of the mirror. Also, I noticed when the sun is in front of your windshield, that's when it gets quite hot. Without this in front of your windshield, you'll notice the difference in temperature. This does reduce the internal temperature of your car by 10-20 degrees. Yesterday it was 105 degrees and normally when rolling down my Windows, it blows out all the hot air. Now, with this heatshield, it makes it warm in my car I would say about 80-87 degrees. Not bad. I know that this will last quite awhile as long as I take good care of this.

Living in Southern California, of course, its full of dreams and great weather, but of course with great weather comes with A lot of Sun. With temperature of 80-100 heat, cooling a car is always a adventure. Owning a Lexus IS 250, this has been a great option, I decided to go with this option though it is more expensive, its a better and more stable option than those Roll Up sunshades. I wanted something reliable. I would say that from when I used to park my car in my work parking lot and from using this, I would say that temperture in the car has dropped at lot, my leather seats are no longer burning but are now warm. This is a nice sunshade. It's not flimsy, so it is easy to put into place. It is easy to remove and fold up for storage. It seems sturdy enough that it should last.My only small complaint is that it doesn't quite fit around the mirror close enough. It still fits good enough. I would buy it again.I purchased this for a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, and I'm satisfied.

It's a really good quality shied. You can feel the material is good grade and very stiff. It fits perfect and almost too perfect that you cannot have anything dangling (like your gps mount, any sort of decorations) on your wind shield.It helps block some of the heat out but since it's too hard to be fitted in. You might not use it as often.

This heat shield works perfectly in our 2003 Toyota Camry. It's very well made and easy to fold and unfold. Keeps the car a lot cooler and protects the plastic parts. I wasn't sure when I ordered it how well it would fit, but it fits like it was manufactured by Toyota specifically for this model.

Great product!I live in Arizona and have gone thru several sunshades the last few years. The lining (?) of the other sunshades eventually disintegrate and leave a mess in my car. Also, it is still usually very hot in the car after leaving it under the sun the whole day in workplace parking.With Covercraft, it is definitely noticeably not as hot anymore. When i get into my car, it no longer feels like an oven and I can hold on to the steering wheel without burning off my hands. It seems well made and very thick and solid.Yes, it costs much much more than regular sunshades but the cooler temperature and comfort makes it a very good purchase.I would recommend this highly!

I ordered this shade after failing to find any that would fit my 2005 Chrysler T&C. It did take about 2 weeks to receive it, but I think it's because they are made to order. So far I'm impressed with the quality of this shade, it is very sturdy and has felt covering the back so it won't scratch your dash. I was a bit disappointed that this sunshade is 2 pieces, left side and right side. I'm not sure why they made it that way, seems like it could have been a single piece. It takes a bit longer to put it up since you have to first determine which piece is left and which is right, but once it goes up it covers the windshield nicely. Overall it is a nice looking, good quality sunshade that is a perfect fit, I would highly recommend it!

I've owned four of these sun shields from Covercraft (Toyota Solara, Toyota Tundra, Lexus IS-350), so I'm realistic about what this product does. It reduces sun damage to the dash, steering wheel and front seat. The insulation is not thick, so it will only fend off inside temperature increases for a moderate period of time - leave the car/truck in 100 degree sunlight all day and the inside will eventually reach 100 degrees. The exterior surface of the shield is only slightly reflective - screens made from mylar will keep the interior cooler for longer.It installs in 15 seconds: expand, lift into place and pull down sun visors to hold in place. More importantly, it stows in 15 seconds: much faster and more convenient than roll up screens. It will not bend and is bulky - that's a limitation of the design. I stow mine behind the driver seat and keep it in the tool box in the winter.Fit on the 2004-2006 (I have both) Tundra is nearly perfect - only enough gap...

This item is light weight, custom cut for the vehicle, folds easily to open or close. Takes less than 1 minute to install or remove. I selected a light color to provide some reflection and add to its cooling. I rated 4* as it did not come with a cover or a means to secure it and prevent if from unfolding. I use a Velcro strap to secure it. I have several other products from Covercraft and all have been excellent, well made, designed perfectly to fit.

Material used is of a higher quality than the average sunshade. The fit is snug, and covers about 99% of the windshield. The heat-reduction effects are noticeable.The only negative is that it does not include a tie or strap to hold the shade closed, once collapsed.

The covercraft UVS100 Heat Shield Windshield Sunshade kept the sun from heating up the steering wheel and part of the front of the SUV but the front seats are still hot to seat on. I recommend it for moderate heat reduction.

This is a nice sunshade but somewhat pricey. Or anyways my wife thought it was pricey. In my opinion it should fit more precise based on what you have to pay. There is a pretty good gap where the rearview mirror is mounted. There is also a gap lengthwise. Much better than your $10 generic sunshade, but it should be. It also should be better made than it is for the price.

Yes it does fit a 2007 Acura MDX. Perfect fit from side to side and top to bottom. It works a lot better than the twisty ones I've used on other vehicles. It's pretty thick so it seems to keep more of the glaring heat out. I really searched for a better price elsewhere but AutoPartsWAY had the best price.

I had been looking for a high quality sun shade for my Scion tc - which is not necessarily easy to find. This sun shade is expensive, but fits perfectly. It is somewhat fragile, however, so keep the pets and kids from throwing it around.

Let me say that after a recent trip to the car detailer, my sunshade was not returned, so I opted to purchase this one. Benefits include a fold flat design and large enough cut-out for the rearview mirror that I don't have to bend any of the sunshade to make it fit. It just fits like it was designed to fit on my windshield. The quality seems good with felt around the edges and the main body material is cardboard. Did scare be a little bit about long-term usage, but given it's sole function to block the sun, I imagine it will be fine. I really like the construction and option to reverse the shade in cold climate to "heat" the car and keep in heat. I live in southern california so keeping out the heat is my only concern. That said, I like this product and I'm very happy with my purchase. I believe that for $80, this would not be good value, but for around $40, it's great for an exact-fit sunshade. Hope you find your experience as favorable as I did!

This sunshade has a very good fit on my vehicle. It effectively blocks all the sun from entering from the windshield. I rated it 4 vs 5 stars only because it is cumbersome to store. I am quite pleased with the quality of the shade and it's fit. I keep the shade stored in the box it came with which works out well.

I am very happy with my purchase. I was going back and forth between one of those shades that stick on the window that you can pull across and this one. I've had one of the others before and although it was convenient, that's about where the benefits ended. This shade is fitted perfectly to my window, fully protects my leather dash and it's insulated!!! The quality is what impressed me, you can tell they are well made. It says "custom-fit" to the Fiat/Abarth, but not quite custom or fit. There was a great cap between the mirror and the sunshade which led a considerable amount of light and heat in. The build quality, however, was phenomenal, and if it had fit a lot better, I would have definitely recommended it.

It's a good quality sunshade and it fit well. For my previous car I also custom ordered online, but it was from another company and it was the roll up type. After that I learned that I wanted the folding type as it is so much easier to put away when I get in the car. I plan to own the car for a long time so if this lasts many years I think it's a great investment.I live in Texas so I cannot tell you if it really makes the car cooler or not as we will be hot in the car no matter what when summer comes. But the sunshade will keep the steering wheel and seat from being burning hot, and keeps the dash from fading.

I chose to rate this sunshade as a 3 star because it wasn't the exact fit as described. It did a good job covering the dash but didn't cover any parts of the windshield towers (sides of the windshield frame that has upholstery from the ceiling to the dash) there is about 2 inches unprotected on each side .However It is sturdy and should last a long time if taken care of.

Keeps the sun out but the heat remains, I guess it still protects the dashboard against uv damage. It is sturdy and I can imagine it will last much longer than my previous $10 sun shade. I expected more from such an expensive sun shade!

This sunshade works wonders. This visor is really sturdy. Good materials. Fits the windshield like a glove. We have purchased those "foil" looking sunshades in the past, and after a while they loose their ability to stay in place. This thing will never sag. It is worth the investment. The reason this product lost a star is when you fold the shade up to drive there is nothing to keep it from unfolding - no Velcro strap. Other than that, we loved it so much that we bought another visor for our 2nd car.

Have a 2007 Civic. The only negative I could say is that it could be a little taller. When installed the sun visors just barely catch the edge of the shade. It stays in place so far. Other than that this is very well made item. It is well worth the money compared to the cheap crappy silver ones sold in the auto parts stores.

This windshield shade is pricier than the ones you find at the auto parts store or your local Target/Wal-Mart. But it is quite sturdy and custom fit perfectly to your car. It folds up easily and feels like it could stand up to a lifetime of usage. I wish it came with a storage bag or something as mine is rather large (Pontiac G8) so storage bag would be great. No elastic or velcro to hold it together when folded up so it would benefit from something like that or the mentioned bag. The fit is perfect, and keeps the heat down, as well as protecting the dash and interior of your car. I even got a compliment on the shade from a co-worker saying it was really nice and he wanted to know if it was custom. Good stuff.

The cover can be a little tricky to maneuver in to place around the rear view mirror, but once its in place it covers 95% of the windshield. Only tiny amounts of the sides and around the rear view mirror are uncovered. It's great at reflecting heat as it is thick. The only problem I have is the bulk. It only folds vertically, so make sure to have a place to put it.

WOW! I have always used a sun shield for the windshield of my Sienna. My old one was getting getting worn so I ordered this one. It covers my entire windshield and is truly made for only this Sienna model series. They're almost like blackout curtains. The sun shield comes in two parts that are stiff and are held in place with only the sun visors. They don't droop or bend even on the hottest days. Really glad I got them.

I have purchased one of these for all my cars, and for my kids, and for my mother. Everyone loves them. I must say, for a Prius, it's a beast to handle, but they are so customized, a fly would have a tough time escaping after they're in place. Keep the dash cooler, and high quality compared to other stuff I've owned over the years. You have to store it in the back seat, trunk, or passenger area, as these take up some room and don't fold up to nothing. Worth the effort, IMHO.

I LOVE LOVE this sunshade. It's a sturdy & thick sun blocker. This sunshade blocks out the sun completely from my windshield & dashboard. It can stand up alone on the windshield, but i fold down the sun visors anyway. I live in Austin, TX & the sun beats down on us & this has kept my Ford Fiesta cooler. Plus side is that is keeps the car cooler that the A/C does not take long to cool off at all. I love this. I recommend this sunshade to block out Central Texas Sun!.

It is a little strange to roll up because it is so thick. When completely pressed against the windshield it definitely is not a perfect fit and the company will note this. However I discovered that u can install it slightly away from the windshield and u can tuck it under the visors without actually turning the visors down. It works good this way and seals off most of the light.

After trying a number of cheaper generic windshield shades that all fit terribly, I decided to bite the bullet and get the custom fit shade. The Prius apparently has a very deep windshield, so most shades were wide enough or even too wide, but not deep enough to keep from falling down.The custom fit shade was perfect. It doesn't cover the little side windows, but that is not a big concern. The shade folds up in seconds and I can lay it on the back seat or back floor.

First off, this is a great cover, and great fit. It fits the windshield perfectly, is easy to put in (once you figure that bit out), and keeps my interior 10 degrees cooler (or more). However, it doesn't fit around the rearview mirror. There's no way to get it in without having to reaim the mirror all the way back. It just won't fit past. I have a touring model, which has the thicker auto-dimming mirror, so maybe it only affects Touring... Not a deal-breaker, but it's annoying for such an expensive sunscreen.

A very well made sunshade by Covercraft and never imagined I would be so impressed with the quality of a sunshade. Looks far better and much sturdier than expected. In the past, have used the traditional cheap accordion-styled shades and the ones which roll and/or fold in half. Needless to say, out with old and ineffective and in with the new and effective. Certainly, the sunshade is worth the extra money and so proud to purchase an American made product.

After years of dealing with poor fitting sunshades I decided to see if I could find one with a better fit. After a brief search here on AutoPartsWAY, two products were listed for Fords. I chose this one instead of the other mylar product. Mylar tends to be flimsy and disintegrates after a year or two. I have a 99 Ford Escort and this sunshade was made for, and fits my windshield perfectly. It is thick and sturdy. Which also means you won't be able to easily store it. I do wish they would have included an attached strap to keep it together though. But overall I am very pleased with the product and believe it is well worth the expense. My brother was also impressed and ordered one for his 04 Ford Ranger, and his was a perfect fit as well.

I'd had my last heat shield for a long time, and although its weird bubble-wrap feel might have been okay, I just moved to Florida--the Sunshine State--and it was time to admit that I'd need something stronger.The Covercraft UVS 100 Heat Shield "Custom Fit" Sunshade is perfect for the job for two reasons:1) It really is exactly the size of my windshield space and so fits exactly up against the glass. I have a radar detector, and it still leaves room for the mount to stay on.2) You can't see from the pictures that this is *thick*. Great fit and solid materials. Gold color looked great in my light brown VW CC. Only reason I could not give it 5 stars is I think it is too expensive for what it is. Then again, a lot of the other sun shades are over priced for what you get. Would recommend you at least buy one to try it for yourself!

Bought one of these for my car last year and it works great and is holding up well, so the wife wants one.I don't like to use visors to hold sunscreens up because our visors do not have tension adjustments, so when the visor friction points get worn, they will sag. Therefore, I carry a couple of boxes of Kleenex in the car and toss them up on the dash to hold the sunscreen tight to the windshield. Works fine.

We just got a 2008 Civic Coupe and needed a sunshade for that massive front windshield. Our previous car was a Civic sedan, and we must have gone through four or five cheap sunshades. After a while, they get soft and start to sag, falling down and thus failing to actually keep the sun out. Some of them also begin to disintegrate, leaving little bits of silver material all over the interior of the car.I've only recently purchased this Covercraft shade, so I can't really comment yet on its long-term durability, but at the very least it is far stiffer, and seems to be more sturdy than the cheaper models. It stays in place nicely, propped up by the car's sun visors. It's a bit heavier than a regular sunshade, and I'm a little worried that it might cause long-term wear on the stiffness of the visors' mechanism. We'll see what happens.The stiffness that makes it so good comes at a bit of a price, as it doesn't fold down as small as some other models, taking up more...

These Covercraft Custom Fit heat shields are awesome.They fold up quickly and unfold quickly for easy installation and removal.Everyone that I have spoken with that own a set of these have nothing bad to say about them.They are customized to your vehicle and you must ensure that you order the correct one.Otherwise you will have the wrong size unless that other vehicle just so happens to have the same windshield size.I have been using the other Heat Shield before that rolled up with a reflective silver coating and have replaced it with this custom Covercraft heat shield instead and thoroughly enjoy this one much better.It fits the windshield better blocking more sunlight and UV rays from entering the vehicle.I definitely notice a difference when using this and not and compared to the other heat shield.I will definitely be purchasing Covercrafts Heat Shields for any vehicle I purchase in the future.

This is my second purchase from Covercraft, I purchased one for my Escape and now one for my FIAT. I seen this on AutoPartsWAY and the different colors offered. This is by far the most Superior Windshield Sunshade out, you have the one side for reflecting the sun and the other for pulling in heat during the winter. They are easy to fold and will keep there shape better then any cheep one out there. It was a perfect fit and finish, covers all the window and you don't really need the sunvisors to hold it in place. Recommend very highly to anybody looking for a superior sun shade.

Like the title says, I bought this for a 2014 Ford Focus. I have the hatchback, but I would assume the windshields are all the same. The outside of this sunshade is a heat reflective silver and the inside is a carpet (like the carpet that is under your foot mats.)This thing is sturdy and well made! Also, it is a PERFECT fit for my new Focus!I would recommend that anyone with an MK3 (2012+) Ford Focus to buy this sunshade.

Unlike some other sunshades, this one fully covers the windshield (except for the cutout to clear the mirror).I just wish it had included the storage case.It appears that the only way to get the storage case (a $6.50 option if ordered on Covercraft's website) is to order the sunshade from Covercraft.

This is a durable and an easy to use fold-up style windshield shade for my RAV 4 LE...not a single broken nail! It goes in easily and holds with the visors. It keeps the car cool and looks just like the picture. easily fits between the passenger seat and center console without taking up all the space. Living in Las Vegas, where temps can get in the 110's, will be the true test, but so far this is perfect. No more fumbling with two piece visors that don't quite fit or cheap and ineffective fold-ups from retail stores.

High quality item that works well. My only issue is that it's a little short - perhaps by 1 or 2 inches. So, I have to really work with my sun visors to keep the thing from falling down, and even then there's a bit of a gap on the top where some light can still get in. Not a big deal tho.. I'd still recommend it and buy one again if I needed to.

Covercraft has met its claim. A custom fit and minimum light leakage around the areas. Just be sure you provide the correct vehicle and model to insure a good fit. Now, this is not a collapsible item. It does require some space to store and you must advise the front occupant to "duck" while you retrieve it from the windshield. It does fold and retains its shape well. Recommended.

Let me start by saying I would recommned this product as it does offer a nice fit to your individual car. A lot thicker than the material used on the store bought type of sun shades. Really does tne trick in keepingthe heat down in the car and protect the interior. That being said, the price is the only draw back. Not worth the almost $50 you pay for it. If price was closer to $30, I would be more inclined to rate it 5 stars.

These are insulating sunshades. They are foil coated over an insulated firm board like material. They provide good insulation and the ones I have fit very well. The downside is that they are not as easy to store in your car folded into about a 6 inch wide dimension with about the height of your windshield in length. I also have some of the type that are wire rimmed and one would twist them to fold them into a circle. That type fits not quite as well but can tuck into the pocket behind the seat which is better for me when going in and out of several places during the day. Each has its advantages. This type is great if you like a custom fit and may only put it in the windshield once or twice a day.

The sunshade is very think which will assist it in doing it's intended job. On the downside, it is not pre-folded or rolled so it is very cumbersome to work with. For this price, I would think that the manufacturer would make it easier to stow away when not in use. They provide one small Velcro sticker that is supposed to work for years? Don't think so.

This shade is very well built and fits perfectly. In Colorado, the UV rays can kill a car's interior in a very short time. I had always used the wire framed cloth screens in the past and they work well, but this ridged shade does a better job at covering the entire windshield. It is a bit bulky and harder to store than the wire-framed type, but I just set mine in the back seat when driving unless I need that space for passengers, then it goes in the trunk.

These Covercraft sunshades are great products; I have had them for every car I own or have owned. The custom fit ensures that the maximum glass area is shielded. I favor the accordion-style folding for storage, as opposed to rolling it up and securing it with a velcro strap, a method with which some other custom-fit sunshades are designed. This particular product came in blue. It was cheaper than the silver one (the silver one is probably most popular). My Ford Flex is red, but I didn't care if that particular accessory matched the red.

For a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis, this shade could not fit better. There are small gaps, roughly 1/2", at the top and sides of the shade where it doesn't completely cover the windshield, but if it were any bigger I suspect it would be nearly impossible to put up.The gold color is different and I think it looks neat. The foil appears to be of good quality and I do not expect it to flake off anytime soon. The rest of the shade appears to be made well and should last quite well. Overall I am very happy with this shade.

Got this for my early 2005 Audi A4. It fits perfectly and does the job. I love how it is really easy it is to put up the shade and take it down since it folds like an accordion. Some complain that the hole for the rear view mirror is too big but it doesn't bother me. If the hole was cut more narrow, it would be harder to put up and take down the shade since it will hit the rear view mirror. It does a great job at keeping out the heat and sun, something that is especially important in Arizona, even in winter! Only quibble is that when folded, it is somewhat thick, making it difficult to store conveniently in the front seat. Overall an excellent sun shield.

We have had a few Covercraft sunshades over the years and they have held up fairly well, except for the corner flap on each end which needed duct tape on the fold crease after a couple of years.This sunshade, ordered for my wife's new Acura fits so well that you do not need to fold down the cars visors to hold it up. It almost snaps in place! Over time it will need the visors, but they got the measurements right on with this one.The are a little pricey, but do the job nicely and last several years.

This shield is well made with foam core board. It does reduce the interior heat of my Tacoma truck and it has a nice fit. The board does cracks fairly easily though. It is very rigid, so you must use care when installing or removing it from the windshield. It is over priced in my opinion but does a good job of what is designed to do.

The Covercraft custom fit makes the car look great when it's parked. I haven't, however, noticed much of a reduction of car temperature or the heat on the driving wheel. I live in Texas, so that may be why the car stays so hot.

This is a very good fit, for a car window that is not a standard size. None of the pre-made window shades fit the window correctly, leaving the huge dash exposed to the hot sun. This one covers almost all of it, with no crinkling. It is a little heavier than the junky ones in the stores, so I am hoping it will last a while. The blue color is very nice.

I had previous experience with a Covercraft sunshade on our 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. That item fit perfectly and lasted about 7 years. Unfortunately, they eventually start to break at the folds. The materials used today seem to be identical to what was used 16 years ago. So it won't surprise me that it might fail in 5-7 years. We shall see.The fit is a little tighter on the Jeep Patriot, so it's best to use care when installing and removing from the windshield. If Covercraft could find a material that won't crack at the folds, this product would be perfect and worthy of 5 stars. If you keep your car for 10 or more years, figure that you will be buying several of these in the long run.

It fits my 2012 Ford Escape just fine. It does keep my car cooler, but it is hard to roll up every day. I found the folding sunshades to be easier to work with.

I was looking for a fitted sunshade for my MX-5 that I could fold up and store behind the seat (very limited storage space in the roadster, alas). I didn't want a rolling shade as that would have necessitated storing it in the trunk. The folding covercraft fits the windshield perfectly, and is thin enough to slide behind my seats. Works perfectly!

Good product. Instead of the silver reflective material, they use a less obtrusive option that serves the same purpose. Folding versus rolling is much easier to install because the item does not lose its shape.

Fitment is perfect! Covers the entire windshield end to end. No obstructions when installing and easily supported by the vehicle visors. Only thing I did notice was it had a slight odor that reminded me of MDF. BUT not to worry, the smell does dissapate after a few days of use.

This fits perfectly in our VW Passat. This dramatically reduces the heat in the car, and makes getting into a parked car in the summer bearable! You have to be careful when you are moving it around. It seems to bend easily, and once bent, there is no way to fix it. We bought the same shade (different size) for our other car. I highly recommend!

Fits perfectly. This is not flexible, it is rigid and does not fold. I may have misread a description but I thought it might roll up. It does take up a little space in the car when folded up. It does what is says and reduces car temps by about 10-15 degrees. The reflective coating is actually pretty hot to the touch when taking it down so you know it is working. I live in AZ and have been using it on 110+ days. I like it I was just thinking for the price there might have been something more special. Seems like a custom fit thick piece of cardboard with nice back fabric and a shiny surface. No complaints.

I was in the market for a windshield cover for my Mustang and after looking at hundreds of crappy $10 shades decided I'd look at this one. I'm glad I did; the fitment is perfect and I discovered it was indeed NOT the glass roof I had that was to blame for scorching interior temps. Definitely the windshield. Interior temps were lowered, conservatively, ~30°F and possibly more. You should definitely buy this guy. Best $40-50 (it varies with time) I ever spent.

The UVS100 sunshade fits my Camry Hybrid very well. The blue color matches the headlight accent well and gives it a premium look. Double stitching and multiple layers look good and work well to keep the temperature down on hot, sunny days. Definitely worth the price! Just remember to get a storage bag for it. When not in use it does take up some space in the back seat or trunk.

Bought this for my 2013 Chevy Cruze since none of the ones in stores fit properly. I chose this one over the other one listed, which is $10 cheaper, but has to be rolled up. It fits so well I don't even have to put the visors down to hold it in place. Would give it 5 stars if it were cheaper, but as long as it lasts a couple of years before falling apart I feel like it's worth the money spent.

This shade is well made. Its a bit over priced though. Kind of bulky as the panel are wide. I already cracked the foam on one panel while removing it from the windshield. I on positive, it fits well and does a good job of reducing the heat of your parked car.

The heat shield fits well, keeps the heat down and protects the leather interior. After sitting in direct sun for 6 hours I can act touch the steering wheel without burning my hands, and the car cools off much quicker. I anticipate that it will help keep the interior in good shape for several years. The reflective properties of the heat shield are superior to the less expensive cardboard shields on the market. You get what you pay for.

Great product if it was $10-$20 cheaper. It fits my Tacoma's windshield like glove but the internals is just basically cardboard. If you handle the sunshade by the corners the inside fiberboard will snap/break just from it's own weight.

Very nice fit in my Challenger. At first I feared it was too big, but its just right. It could stand to be more reflective, but it's not billed as a reflector. It's a sunshade. It is a bit thicker than I expected. I assumed it would fit in the pocket behind the passenger seat. It won't. Folded up it's about 3" thick. Not a knock against it, but an FYI in case you assumed it might.

This is a high quality sunshade with an accordian fold system. It's stiff enough that it doesn't droop in the windshield and covers it completely. The cool blue color is nice and very classy. I would highly recommend this for any owner of the Mini Cooper Clubman.

Was surprised when I received the shade that it looked like it was made of cardboard! It's also heavy, not like other sunshades. But, it completely covers the FJ Cruiser windshield and is easy to use. It looks great too because the yellow shade is close to the color of my FJ. The only problem I see is how it will hold up during the everyday putting it on and taking it off.

I have really liked my silver Covercraft Heat Shield (Green) since it fits perfectly, is easier to handle since it is ridged, is well-made, and ultimately does a good job of keeping my car cool. The one star reduction is for the amount of heat the green tinted shield retains. It really hot to handle when you grab it to put it away. My silver heat shield for another car does not get nearly so hot.

Excellent product! I no longer have to worry about my car feeling like an oven after I leave it under the summer sun. My only complaint is that the shade does not have a stow strap or anything to hold it together when not in use, but it is not a deal breaker. I would definitely buy the same product again if needed to.

I couldn't find a Sunshade to fit my 2011 Honda CR-Z. This one fits almost exactly. Its very durable and I believe it will last a long time. The Blue Metallic is a nice fit with my Milano Red exterior. The sun visors hold it up so no mounting is necessary. I always keep the back seats folded down so I keep it in the trunk. It will also fit behind the seats.

I cannot attest to how well this sunshade holds up to the test of time since I haven't had it very long. That being said, the build quality is excellent and the accordion-style fold is flawless. I specifically like how easy the installation is vs. other cheaper shades I've used in the past - this one is cut with precision so it circumvents the need to wrestle the shade and rearview mirror constantly.A little more expensive that I intended to spend initially but well worth it to me. Works as advertised!

First time truck owner so full disclaimer, I'm not used to big sun shades. I like that this shade is a pretty good fit for the window of my Ram 1500. Not an exact fit but very close. I'll call that a win since there are all sorts of obstacles attached to the stock rear view mirror these days.It is a bit bulky, but then again the window is huge compared to what I'm used to (Corolla) so that is probably just my issue. Just not easy to tuck it away in the cabin without it resting against a passenger.The material is solid but seems to dent easily. While folding it today one of my fingers left an indentation in the shade material. I was not pinching or using a He-Man grip, just regular folding. This will not impact the usefulness of the product, other than possible material degradation in the future... or maybe not. Just throwing it out there.Bottom line, it keeps 99% of my front windshield shaded, and helps keep the truck cool, and while more...

Using the Gold one in a 2010 Ford Focus.Personally, I like it very much and it is a great improvement over the more standard shade I had before (previous was also accordion style but was flexible and looked a bit like aluminum bubble wrap, and was not at all fitted to my car). The biggest issue I had had was that I couldn't find one that was sized to my car such that it would properly stay in the windshield without sagging down. The particular one I had was also long enough that I had to stuff it around the windows (though kind of nice for partially shading a window, it made it less easy to put in and keep in).This fits perfectly. It is the exact right shape for the windshield. Pulling down the visors keeps it in nice and snug and it doesn't have any real cracks along the sides at all to let sun in.It does keep the car cooler as well (tested in the summer in Tucson, AZ...), though the gold side does get so hot you do have to be careful when...

..it does not fit perfectly for the dimensions of my 2012 VW GTI. There are 1/2 inch - 1 inch gaps on the sides. I gave this product 4 stars because it keeps the heat out, especially on the really hot and humid florida keys summer days. Of course there is some residual heat when I get back into my car after leaving it covered all day (6.5 - 8 hours usually) throughout the week. But I noticed a big difference once I started using the sunshade. It is easy to fold and unfold. I usually keep mine folded in the back seat which is easy to store when not in use.

I'm not sure if there is a difference in placement of the mirror between the golf and the gti, but as the other reviewer mentioned, there is no way to get this on and off without messing up your mirrors setting.The product is solid and works great, but as ocd as I am about things like mirror settings, I find myself not using this and going back to my old shade, if this was cut just a little lower for the mirror cut out, it would be perfect.

Well worth the money as it seems to hold quite well unlike the competition that may cost less, but would not fit XK8 too well and would definitely not hold so well here in Yuma, AZ. Fits just fine and reduces the furnace affect in the car. Keeps the direct sun off the interior and will reduce sun damage over time. As with all of these, it is a bit clunky getting in and out, but it is not difficult and works as advertised. What's not to like?

I got this for my 2012 Grand Cherokee. It fits good. It keeps my dashboard and steering wheel from getting scorching hot. The reflective surface gets hot, so be careful when folding it up. It's a bit heavier than you might expect. Slightly awkward to fold it back up. I store it wedged between the passenger seat and center console.It used to be that we could buy these folding windshield shades made of cardboard. Those were the best! Lightweight, doesn't get hot, easy to put up and take down, inexpensive, and recyclable. Somebody needs to start making these again.

I have a 2010 Enclave and this covers about 95% of the windshield. I like that it's sturdy and feels like it will last a lot longer than those mass produced shades at Walmart, Target, etc. I should've got something like this for my other vehicle because the 'strong" shade I got from the box store is already starting to wear out during a month of use while this one still feels the same as when I first got it. Maybe there are better fitting shades out there for my vehicle, but this one will suffice until a new one is needed (hopefully not for a long while).

Over the years I've purchased sunshades for approximately 1/2 the price but typically don't use them because they are flimsy (collapse in the hot sun) and clumsy to use (a struggle to keep in the windshield and difficult to re-fold - those springy type sunshades). This one is not only easy to insert into the windshield but it STAYS in place; the custom fit is perfect!I live in SoCal where it regularly gets over 100 degrees in the summer and this shade is the BEST I've ever purchased. Even though it costs a bit more it is truly a value as it gets used (rather than relegated to the floor in the back seat). I highly recommend this product.

I like the concept and it really keeps the heat out. Only draw back is that they are very stiff and finding a spot for it when it's not in the windshield is difficult. Right now it sits in the passenger seat so if you have more than one person in your car often...you might want to look elsewhere.

This items shipped quickly, and my car (which is black and sits uncovered in the Central Texas heat all day) is noticeably cooler when I get in at the end of the workday. Only thing I don't care for is that is still rather large when folded down - no biggie unless I have passengers. Even then, the only inconvenience (slight) is moving it to the trunk. In general, I like it.

They fit perfectly, fold up easily, and really keep the car cooler. I combine the sun shade with a California legal window film on the front side windows and it makes a very significant difference in temperature, and protects the interior of your car.

It fits well and does the job but it was nearly $60 with tax and delivery and that is not in line with the materials, construction and quality. It's mostly foam core, damages easily and does not include a bag or a retaining strap. You can get something that is nearly as good for a third the cost at your local big box store. Make sure you get the folding one; the rollup is a mess.

I finally found a sunshade that fits my car like a glove. It is a perfect fit. It is so easy to put in and take out. Very strong material! I am so happy that I ordered this shade, and I love the color rose it came in. My car was so cool when I got inside to go too lunch and after work. Awesome price for not breaking out in a sweat. Love it and so does a lot of my coworkers who have the same problem with a scalding vehicle. Those knockoffs don't even come close. This is my third one. For my 2013 Camry, it is a little wider and can be cumbersome when your in a hurry to fold it for storage. i haven't found a sunshade that does a better job.

Just as advertised, the shade fit like a glove and works great. I have a metal aftermarket shift knob that was getting so hot during the day, that I couldn't hold it to shift when leaving work. That's no longer a problem.

I picked up this custom fit folded sunshade for a Honda Ridgeline to help keep the temperature down in my car when its sitting in the Texas sun. Thus far its made a notable difference in keeping the car cooler while its sitting in the sun.The shade itself is durable, lightweight and is about 1/3" thick. (Another tip, if you have a sunroof; tilt it open just a bit if there is no chance of rain. This allows the hottest air to escape the car/truck.)

Love this sunshade. Looks durable, collapses and expands very easily, and covers from edge to edge perfectly. Definitely worth the extra bucks.

With several metallic colors to choose from and a nice felt-like backing, the sturdiness and FIT of this sunshade is extraordinary! With the majority of sunshades, you must fight the flimsiness of them, but not the Covercraft! Because of its rigidity, you just open it up on top of the dash, slide it forward, then lift it up to the windshield. Turn the vehicles sun visors down to hold it in position and you are done. No fighting the rearview mirror, because it fits perfectly around it. As it is slightly heavier than most sunshades and rigid, be careful not to hold it at the ends so as not to damage the interior board. It would leave a permanent crease. By being careful until you are familiar with its weight, you should illiminate this possibility. I have owned DOZENS of other sunshades in all types, but none are worth a fraction of this one!

The custom heat shield d does a great job of reducing the heat inside the car from the Arizona sun. The windshield on the CR-V is large and the heat shield fits the window on my CR-V perfectly.

it is hard to store, doesn't stay straight in windshield, but it does keep the car a lot cooler with it in.

Sunshade fits the windshield perfectly, and is very easy to handle since it is more rigid than the cheap shades that you get at other stores.

I really like this sunshade. I fits very well in my new CRV and because of the extra layers, keeps the car cooler than anyprevious sunshade I've had. It is easy to install and take down..a great product.

Initially it wasn't mentioned this was a two piece system although it makes sense since the windshield on the Fit is so large. Just to make it easier for me I made a left and right marking on the inside of the shield to designate "left" and "right" with a sharpie marker.Just makes it easier for me. It is large when in storage too so that may be a consideration but not overly. Quality of materials is very high as well as coverage. It does leave an open triangle shape but that is at mirror height and nota concern. Would recommend.As well it has no noticeable "odor" which for me has been a problem with aftermarket cargo mats etc.

This is more like cardboard wrapped by a sun deflector and for the price I would have expected a much better flexible fit. Lower the price otherwise it's not worth what it currently cost which was over $55.

Love it. Worth the extra money to have something that fits the car but cheaper than the automaker's version. In our area where the sun can be brutal, good buy.

This is my third vehicle to have a Covercraft UVS100 Heat shield. Quality is great and they do a great job keeping the sun and heat off your dash. The only reason this one for my 2010 GTI got 4 stars is because the cut out for the rear view mirror is not big enough to fit the windshield without having to readjust the the mirror every time to put it on.

Fits perfect inside the car, protect the interior, when its placed you see the interior dark so the sunlight do not enter, definitely recommended

This sun shade is very good and fits well. Very easy to put up and take down. It does take up a lot of space, so if you have a car full of passengers you will probably need to store it in the cargo space or back dash. I owned one of these in 1988 for my 1988 mustang and this new one is not as well made as their original one. You can see the stitching along the fold creases and board material is not as sturdy (easily bent it by accident). It does block out the sun to protect the dashboard very well, which is the main purpose for this item.

This is a heavy duty sunshade but it is not a perfect fit for the windshield of this car. It does block a vast majority of sun and heat, so it works well for my use.

Fit perfectly in my 2002 Toyota 4Runner as advised by AutoPartsWAY vehicle query. To bad it didn't come with some sort of strap (velcro) to tie the Heat Shield closed.

Fits perfectly on my 2013 FJ Cruiser and stays in place without having to fold down the sun visors. Definitely helps keep the sun and heat out.

Better effect than the 10 bucks sun shade. It does not heat up as much within the same half hour (no hard measurements - my subjective take) and more sturdy.More difficult to put up due to its size and limited space in the car to fold.

It does not completely covers the space it should. It should fit about tight to do a good job keeping the heat/sunlight out. The opening for the mirror is excesively big. The sunshade fits too loose, almost not possible to secure it under the windshield.Maybe when it is manufactured, the mesurements are right, however when it is rolled by the manufacturer,to be shipped, it "brakes" and creates cracks/fissures on the material that "shrinks" the product and create bigger gap around the windsshield.

At first I thought this was way expensive compared to the walmart brands but super cheap compared to the hundred dollar ones. Turns out the 30 dollars or less was worth it. This bad boy is a thick durable material pre folds so its super quick to roll yet super strong and basically holds itself to the hood of your car. This is a perfect for for my nissan versa. when i say perfect fit i mean it covers everything but the sun treated spot above the rear view mirror. It took me long to pull it out of the box then to set up. super happy with this thing and will keep it forever. one side is white and one side is a reflective silver. It comes with two Velcro pieces for closure, you stick one of the by peeling the adhesive and placing it on the side of your choice that you want rolled. quality 10 looks 10 satisfaction 10.

This sunshade has been working great at keeping the inside temps down a bit during the summer in Southern California. Fit is good, and folds easily. Great product for the price.

I bought this for my 2007 Mercedes C230 and it fits my windshield perfectly but my sun visors are short and it doesn't hold it up to well.

Please pay attention that this is a "roll-type" windshield sunshade. Because of its thickness, it is very difficult to FOLD it up like most of windshield sunshade you can find in auto parts stores.They are very bulky when they rolled up. No convenient to be stored inside the cabin when not in use.I found the same quality of sunshade at Walmart. It is folded (only need 1/4 of the space when not use) for around $16 CAD.

This is the product I was looking for, however after inputting the specifications of my vehicle, the shield does not cover the entire width of windshield. At the price paid I feel I should have received what I thought I would be receiving. The perfect fit. I kept it because of the record breaking temps we are having in TX, however I will not be recommending this product.

Short and sweet, it's a little pricey for a U.V. blocker but it fits perfectly. Much better than a "one size for all" accessory.
