Used this to fix the sagging driver door on my ZJ Grand Cherokee. Not an advanced install but not the easiest either. The hardest part was grinding the old pin for removal without grinding and damaging the door hinges. After that it was an easy replacement. You'll want to have an extra set of hands and/or a floor jack so you can set the hinge position of the door when you're done.

The door pin bushing on my 2006 Durango was worn out, so I found this repair kit on AutoPartsWAY. The kit comes with no directions so some mechanical skill is needed. I used a dremel tool with cutting disc to remove the old pin and bushing parts. Now here's the thing. When installing the new bushing I tried to tap it in with a hammer and it prompty shattered into little pieces on the first strike. Lesson learned. I then called all over town and located another Dorman kit at NAPA for $5 more than AutoPartsWAY, but at this point I just wanted to get the project done. As this is your only option, other than replacing the entire hinge assembly the cheap Dorman kit (made in China) did end up working. BUT YOU MUST tap in the bushing with a nylon hammer or use a piece of pine to cushion the blows while tapping into place.EDIT: The bushing stayed in the hole for a few weeks and now will not. So don't bother, just go to dealer and buy the entire hinge assembly for about $70.

This is a simple item but it replaced my saggy OEM hinge pins perfectly, with perfect fit and function. The hardest part by far was removing the existing hinge pins. Once that was done these replacements fit easily and quickly and eliminated the saggy door. I recommend to anyone with basic automotive skill.

I rated this a 4 star because the part was of very nice quality and was received very quicklyEven with the standard shipping.Nothing to dislike. I would recommend this product to any D.I.Y. You may need to make a rig to hold the doorBut with a little imagination it is easy.

Used this on my 2000 Chevy Silverado. Watched you tube video on removal and installation. You have to grind the bottoms of old pins for removal. It's not hard. Worked fine and door is like new!!

Not an easy job. But it is all done. it works good, hardest part is to cut the old pin.I only change one pin. Not the two of them.

The pin seems to be of good quality but the bushings are cheaply made and I had one break upon installation. I am not sure if there are any better out there. If you're careful it will work fine.

Worked as expected. This says I need 17 more words for this review but I don't see a need for it. If this a requirement for reviews then I won't be doing anymore.

I would buy this hinge kit again. I always go with dorman when it comes to GM parts. These fit perfect on my 97' 2 door sunfire. As a sidenote, my door was sagging really bad and the hinge holes were egg shaped. I Welded the hinge holes shut and re-drilled them so that the fit is tight. We have also done this with a 90's chevy 1500 to and it works great!

Good. A hinge pin is hard or easy to install, but all the parts needed come with it I do wish they had an extra lock pin because they are small and easy to lose, but otherwise they were a big help to my door closing right.

The pin is the correct size, but the bushing is too large to fit the hole in the hinge. It required a bit of grinding to fit, but works fine once installed.

Not easy to install, as you'd expect with door hinge pins! Installed with no problems after having to cut the old pins out and beat out the worn bushings. Now no more door sag! Great price with free shipping, my only complaint is that one of the packages was open inside the shipping box and the e-clip was no where to be found (must have slipped out the bottom during shipment.)

Appears to be correct, not installed yet but has been discontinued when checking with local parts stores, glad I found it here.

I bought this kit knowing that i might not use the pins but i needed the bushings.I am a nut and bolt guy so i used the old pins and replaced the bushings and it worked out fine.

These hinge pins differ from the factory pins. The original equipment pins taper to a smaller diameter about the middle of the pin. These do not. I had to drill the top hole out for the pin to go through then I had to drill the holes for the bushings to fit but once everything was put together the new pin and bushings work great. No more door sag and also eliminated the wind noise around the front seal.

These are great for fixing your door easy to install they don't come with directions however. I recommend you check on line in the Chevy Blazer forum there you will find detailed instructions for installation they even have tips on how to make a simple tool to heip with the inserting the bushings. I found the info very helpful and saved me a lot of time and grief.
