      It gets the job done. It's not complicated to instal, but it is time consuming.

      The product did come quickly, course it with AutoPartsWAY Prime so of course it came quickly. And it's actually very nice and sturdy, exactly what I was looking for. There are very few options for this basket type I could find on the market.HOWEVER, it was missing part. A very important brace on the front. We did manage to get it put together and zip tie it for the trip we were going on the next day. I contacted Dee Zee directly about the missing part and he assures me its on it's way. Not one time did he apologize for the inconvenience nor was he really all that nice. I'll be back to update if the part does not arrive in a timely manner.As previous reviewed, the hardware sucks and I was worried about how much it swayed considering it was behind our cab over camper and we could not see it at all! i was just watching for our firewood to roll down the street, but it held up. We later reinforced with our own hardware, MUCH better.All and all I really am...

      So I was going back and forth with buying this or a car-top cargo carrier. I settled on this, and I'm wondering now if the other would have done better.UNBOXING: Is in a large box that's heavy--says it needs a 2-person lift. Instructions and all parts included.REVIEW: The instructions are poor, but if you try to match the picture on the website, it's easier to follow while reading the instructions. When fully installed in the 2" receiver, it is loose. If you want a stable platform, please get a hitch stabilizer. It is the width of my van's end and holds quite a bit of stuff. Although I've never been close to the 500lb limit, I've stood on it with my wife, and we top it out around 290 with no worries.The other issue is the hinge design is not so great. Anyone can come by and unhook the cotter pins and pull the joint pins and take your cargo carrier. If you want to fully secure it to your automobile, you'll need two locking hitch pins...

      I wanted a combo carrier/bike rack for my class 3 hitch so I purchased thisPros-seems stable and works as designed, excellent serviceCons-instructions were awful, the pieces were not all labled in the legend and it was confusing in general. One piece had a screw hold on the wrong side, however, getting it replaced was easy and the two ladies I spoke with in service were helpful, professional, and courteous. That makes a difference to me.
