1997 Toyota 4Runner Antenna Mast MTC

This replacement mast did the job nicely. The installation was simple once I removed the nylon track from the old mast which had broken off inside the motor housing.

Bought this to replace a power antenna that broke off in the carwash. This works perfectly for a 2001 Saab 9-3 Hatchback. Just unscrew the nut off the antenna base and remove the old antenna. With the stereo on (you will need someone to turn the stereo off and on while you do the dirty work) feed the teeth into the hole. Turn the stereo off. As the motor retracts the antenna, turn the teeth clockwise until they catch. You will know when they catch because it will grab out of your hand. Turn the stereo off and on until the teeth are fed into the hole properly. Let the antenna retract all the way down. Screw the nut back on (if not, the antenna will just fall out).
