    It was not the transmission dip stick as advertised, it was an oil dipstick. Kept it anyway.

    I bought this since the pull on my original broke off. I've had this for many months with no issues to report. Easy to insert and remove and easy to read the oil level.

    My mechanic told me that my dipstick was falling apart. Rather than wait for this to happen, I checked prices at my local retailer. They had universal dipsticks, but this one was cheaper and specific to my car. This was a perfect replacement oil dipstick for my 1999 Honda Accord.

    The dipstick for my 2000 Honda Accord was shot, so I went looking for a replacement at the chain auto parts stores. All I could find was a universal dipstick that involved adjusting set screws and altering lengths. I figured a Honda dealer would have me pay through the nose, so I checked AutoPartsWAY and found this precise at a lower cost than what the auto parts stores were charging for their imprecise replacement.

    I purchased this oil dipstick for an 88 300TE. I had been using the original one that was broken off for some time and didn't realize since the top was broken off it was actually lower in the tube then it should have been. Therefore, it was reading in the safe zone while it actually was right at the low side. Luckily I hadn't been driving the car much since it was broken off. If yours is broken, do not delay and purchase one now unless you want to buy a replacement engine. My daughter is driving this car now and it is easy to spot being a bright green color and will be easy for her to know what to check. Fits great!

    The OES Oil Dipstick arrived promptly. It was well-packaged in a cardboard box with packing materials.Compared to the original it replaced, it was an exact match in length. However, my original had cracked and wouldn't lock into the chamber. This replacement fits very snugly into the chamber because it has a rubber seal at the top. It stays in place and is still sealed after long drives.It also has the MB logo on the plastic handle. Fully satisfied with quality and order. Fitment: 93 MB 190E 2.3
