      Replaced the tensioner for my Jag last year. The timing chain rattle noise cut down about 50%. The installation instruction is clear and the procedure is easy. This is a newer uprated tensioner. If your jag is year 96 or earlier and have chain rattle noise, it's probably time to uprate the tensioner. Of course to really get rid of the timing chain noise, both chains, guides, lower tensioner also need to be replaced but that is gonna cost over 2 grands (dealer quote).
