It works good so far.1. Not easy to install (mainly because of the location).2. Seems that the amount of air does not increase linearly when switching from low to high (compared to the original one).

Installed this the other day. The old one was seriously corroded, and definitely the source of the problems with my fan. Now the fan works like new, and I couldn't be happier with this part. When installing definitely make sure you have a 90º screwdriver. I made do with a ratchet, but since I had to add the extender to fit the small phillips head, I only barely had room and had a really frustrating time with the screws. A proper 90º screwdriver is the way to go.

My Camry 2000 A/C switch had an issue: it wouldn't work unless on the maximum setting. A little google shows that this is the cure.It is very simple to replace. You don't even need an angle screw-driver, just a mini or short one works just fine. I replaced it under 15 minutes and it works like a champ !!

the mechanic wanted to charged me almost 200 dollars for the piece and installation. I spend less that a hundred and in 10 minutes installation

The fan wouldn't adjust on the volvo. Hubby wanted to try and fix it himself so searched the net and found out that it's often this blower motor resistor. This was a good price and low and behold, it worked!

If your Civic's AC/Heater fan will only work on the highest setting, the problem is most likely this resistor pack. This is a job you can do yourself, but it may be worth paying a mechanic $50 to do it if only because it's a real pain in the you know what to reach. On my Civic the process is the open the glove box, and push in the sides of the box to allow the door to go past the rubber stoppers so it opens ALL the way. You'll see some wires going into a little square thing. That's it. There's 2 screws you need to remove; and a tight fit ratcheting driver would make all the difference. Then I'm pretty sure you're going to have to pull the blower motor, because the genius that designed this thing put the SCREWS on the top, but you can't actually REMOVE it from the top - oh no, you have to go in through the bottom - thus removing the blower motor. The blower motor comes out with 3 T-20 torx screws, but it's really uncomfortable to reach...
