  • 400mm Rubber wiping element for the OE wiper blade ONLY. The metal tension strips will need to be removed from the old insert and correctly aligned in the new insert before it can be installed on the old wiper blade assembly.

      Insert fits as needed. A little tricky loosening the tabs on the blade, but slid right on.

      This wiper insert isn't universal, and it isn't quite 18". It fits only the short wiper for the rear of a BMW touring. It fit my 2002 525i sport wagon perfectly.This part is only the rubber insert. It only fits the original BMW wiper blade, and requires moving the two spring steel blade stiffeners from the old blade to the new.

      The wiper itself is good. It does seem to be a genuine part, but this is not the inserts they used to sell at the BMW dealership. This is only for the rear window. It is the 18" rear window wiper. I needed to replace that anyway, but still was disappointed that this was for a rear wiper only.
