The MegaShifters positive ratcheting function wont allow you to over shift and miss a gear at that critical moment, along with the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA/IHRA safety rules for those weekend grudge races at the track. The look and feel of the T-handle and accordion style shift boot really shows off the racing heritage of the MegaShifter. Other features include a black console that you can trim to fit your vehicles floor for a perfect fit, 5 foot shifter cable, cable brackets, transmission shift levers, chrome plated top plate with lighted gear indicator and everything needed for an easy at home installation. An optional T-handle with a 12-volt button is available separately for actuating a trans-brake, nitrous oxide or other accessories for the hard-core performance enthusiast. This shifter comes with all necessary parts for use with three and four-speed automatic transmissions such as 1966 and later Chrysler Torqueflite A727, A904, A500, and A518 transmissions. Easy to use, good looks and dependable ratcheting design makes the QuickSilver one of our most popular shifters. Features a trigger-less shift handle for a clean modern design. To access Reverse or Forward gears you simply lift the handle and pull back and let the handle drop in gear. Theres no need to lift the handle again to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park. From Drive, lift the handle straight up and this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. Its just that easy! Also, the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA and IHRA safety regulations and wont allow you to accidentally over shift into reverse while making a pass at the strip. To use the ratcheting function at the strip, shift into low gear, launch the vehicle and hit the shifter forward when its time to shift. You cannot over-shift and miss a gear. The chrome bezel, shift stick, and knob are all accented by the black console, flat boot, and deep blue medallion, giving your vehicles interior that classic muscle car style while providing fast and smooth ratchet shifting. The shifter includes a lighted gear position indicator in the bezel, a micro-switch for back-up lights and a neutral safety switch preventing accidental starts when in gear. As performance levels increase, an O.E. style flexplate just wont cut it and a stronger option is a necessity to prevent transmission and/or converter failure. B&M has you covered with our high performance SFI approved flexplate designed for 1955-1985 GM small block (internally balanced) V8 engines along with 4.3L V6 engines. Also fits 1965-up GM big block (internally balanced) V8 engines with two piece rear main seal. Features include high tensile strength steel construction to resist elongation and cracking, dual bolt pattern 10.75 or 11.5 inch converter mounting locations, 168 tooth ring gear with double-sided welds for added strength and comes with SFI 29.1 safety certification insuring the ultimate in safety and performance. The assembly is then Zinc plated and treated with a Chromate Conversion Coating for added corrosion resistance and durability. B&M SFI approved flexplates are ideal for extreme duty race applications as well as street cars, tow vehicles or other vehicles needing the added protection and toughness that B&M has been delivering since 1953.

The B&M Shift Improver kits feature two options to recalibrating your 1982-1993 GM TH700R4/4L60 automatic transmissions. First is the HEAVY DUTY set-up, giving you firm positive shifts without loss of driver comfort for improved performance in all street vehicles. This is a great option for performance street driving or towing. The second is our STREET/STRIP set-up. Be warned, this will deliver firm positive shifts you will feel, along with easily chirping the tires when shifting somewhat aggressively. This setting is recommend for high performance street/strip use, or for competitive events when you want the hardest, quickest shifts possible from a shift improver kit. Note: Does not fit GM TH4L60E (electronic) transmissions.
