      the fender trims went on nicely. 2 months later one of the black plastic trim sections (driver front) is coming loose. it is only 2" long...i'll just need to glue it back. otherwise they look good and are holding firm. i screwed them into place with the screws that came with them. they worked very well.

      I purchased my Putco 97177 S.S. Fender Trim for my Ford F250 Super Duty P/U Truck some time ago. I was just looking at them this afternoon because I'm thinking of selling the truck and I want it to look as good as possible for pictures etc. My fender trim is just one of Putco's products on my truck and it still looks as new as the day I installed it. All installation parts were in the shipping box and the trim was really easy to install with easy to read and understand instructions. This is the 2nd Ford P/U truck that I have dressed out with Putco products and I can honestly say that their products are the best on the market in my experience. If you purchase their products, you will not be disappointed.

      They look good on the truck. You are going to have to drill some holes to attach these to your truck. The front wheels can be turned so you can get the drill in but the rear tires will have to be taken off. It would help if you had a second person to help hold them onto the fender while you are drilling the holes to attach them. Be careful when you tighten the fastening screws so you don't bend the metal. They are thin, but that helps them fit against the contour of your fenders, From start to finish it will probably take you a couple of hours to get these installed if you do them in your driveway. They fit tight against the fender of the truck, there are no gaps. They really made the truck look a lot nicer.

      would not fit my Tahoe. sold to a friend. my Tahoe had factory fender trims . looked nice but could use them

      After removing the fender guards on the lower part of the fenders the trim fit perfectly. Using masking tape to hold the trim in place while drilling the holes allowed me to ensure proper placement of the trim. The whole job took about 45 mins. and they look great.

      The fit and finish of these Putco Stainless Steel Fender trim pieces is perfect. I was amazed how easy it was to attach them with the clip system instead of drilling holes for them. I had actually put off installing them after I first bought them due to inclement weather and my lack of access to a warm garage to dismount the wheels to have a straight shot to drill and screw them on. I finally got fed up with the box sitting in my spare room and went out on a cold and snowy day and used the clips to attach them in about 15 minutes without the use of tools. They fit tight and stayed tight now for several months. It is now a real debate whether I should drill and screw them when it warms up in a couple of months.BTW the Stainless is bright and shiny with no maintenance on my part.

      Fit well, easy to install. I would recommend using both the screws and clips to install. When using just screws the fit is not as tight, it is also easier to locate were to drill the holes if already attached with the clips. Note AutoPartsWAY listed this as not fitting my truck, the one they listed as fitting did not and had to be returned. I've had this happen before with AutoPartsWAY. I suggest you reference the manufatures web site to confirm part numbers before placing your order with AutoPartsWAY.
